Abstract: An LED controller system includes an LED controller including an image frame buffer able to receive image data. A sensor processing module is used to receive and process sensor data and a decision module is used to determine actions taken in response to processed sensor data. An image creation module is used to create images to be sent to the image frame buffer of the LED controller.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for protecting restricted actions on encryption keys that control the management of data stored by a service provider. In some implementations, a of the service provider receives a request to generate a data encryption policy (DEP) for data stored by the of the service provider for a customer, the request including a reference to a customer key and an availability key. The customer key and the availability key are root keys for encrypting a data encryption key. The data encryption key is used to encrypt the data stored by the service provider for the customer. Further, destructive changes to the availability key require receiving an approval from an account of the service provider. The of the service provider validates the DEP. The of the service provider stores the DEP based on the validation.

Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture (e.g., physical storage media) to detect an operational state (such as an on/off state) of a media device are disclosed herein. Disclosed example apparatus include activity detection circuitry to monitor for activity on a first bus of an (HDMI) port of the media device. Disclosed example apparatus also include probe circuitry to inject a message with a first address on the first bus in response to detection of no activity on the first bus for at least a threshold duration. Disclosed example apparatus further include state detection circuitry to detect the operational state of the media device based on whether a response to the message is received on the first bus.
Abstract: Modulation schemes for 5G and 6G are disclosed that can be demodulated accurately even when two transmissions collide. The modulation states are configured to reveal the interference and, in most cases, provide an unambiguous determination of the original content. In other cases, when inevitable ambiguities remain, the number of possible states is greatly reduced, enabling rapid selection of the correct state using error-detection codes. The states of the modulation scheme may include phase modulation or amplitude modulation or both, and may be based on classical amplitude-phase modulation or pulse-amplitude modulation. Each state is structured so that any collision, between any two of the states, produces a readily identified amplitude-phase combination, from which the original message and the intruding message can be deduced. Enhanced network throughput and reliability, with fewer retransmission and dropped messages, may result. Many other aspects are disclosed.
Abstract: A method of producing a negative electrode, including comminuting Li-Group IVA alloy particles in a solvent to a desired particle size distribution range, exposing surfaces of the Li-Group IVA alloy particles to at least one surface modifier present during the comminution process, the at least one surface modifier forming at least one continuous coating on at least one of the exposed surfaces of the Li-Group IVA alloy particles, removing the solvent, and adding the surface-modified Li-Group IVA alloy particles to a negative electrode material by a coating process.

Abstract: A mounting bracket mountable to the underside of the cabinet prior to the range hood and configured to engage and support the range hood as the range hood is secured to the cabinet. The mounting bracket having a support feature engagable to the range hood to hold the range hood proximate the cabinet while fasteners are sunk to secure the range hood to the cabinet. The mounting brackets are pre-positioned on the cabinet such that range hood is aligned with the cabinet when the range hood is supported by the support feature. The smaller mounting brackets can be more easily mounted in the proper position on the cabinet then the larger range 10 hood speeding the installation process and reducing errors.

Abstract: A woven prosthesis, such as a woven vascular graft, woven from warp and weft yarns. Velour warp yarns forming the prosthesis are selectively incorporated into a base layer of the prosthesis so as to provide a bulbous section without compromising the porosity of the prosthesis.
Abstract: A saddle-ride vehicle includes a forward travel sensor a brake that decelerates the vehicle by actuation of a rider-operable brake control. A controller identifies a trigger for an autonomous braking event for the brake. A rider sensor system is in electrical communication with the controller and includes one or both of: a rider cognition sensor operable to detect parameters of rider cognition and report rider cognition status to the controller, and a rider physical sensor operable to detect parameters of a physical engagement between a rider and the vehicle and report rider physical engagement status to the controller. The controller is programmed to perform one or both of the following in response to the identification of the autonomous braking event trigger: checking for a positive cognitive engagement of the rider with the rider cognition sensor, and checking for a positive physical engagement of the rider with the rider physical sensor.

Abstract: A method of laser welding a steel substrate and a ductile iron substrate is disclosed along with a laser welded assembly that may be formed by practicing the disclosed method. The disclosed laser welding method involves forming a laser weld joint between the steel and ductile iron substrates. The laser weld joint includes a fusion zone comprised of austenite ferrous alloy that has a composition derived from intermixing molten portions of the steel and ductile iron substrates as part of the laser welding process. The austenite ferrous alloy that constitutes the fusion zone of the laser weld joint has a carbon content of 2 wt % or more and a nickel equivalent of 60% or more and can be achieved without preheating the steel and ductile iron substrates prior to welding or using a filler wire to introduce a foreign metal into the molten substrate material created by the laser beam.
