  • Patent number: 11432752
Abstract: An assembly for supporting and retracting machine cables, thereby protecting operational components attached to machine cables. A cable organization system includes at least one modular cable management module fixed to a mounting plate that allows mounting of the cable organization system to a machine or other surface. The system has clamps which secure machine cables. The clamps are supported on top of pivoting guide tubes. The cable management modules contain retraction systems which retract the machine cable clamps from an extended position. By utilizing retracting cable clamps on pivoting guide tubes, the system allows the use of operational components attached to secured machine cables, and organizes the machine cables, so that the machine cables do not extend out into the floor around the machine. The system redirects pulling force on the machine cables, so that operational components do not get pulled onto the floor if a passerby catches on a machine cable.

  • Patent number: 11438245
Abstract: A first set of values for a set of metrics is obtained. A given metric of the set of metrics monitors a given component of a set of components of a computing system. The first set of values is obtained during a period of expected behavior of the computing system. One or more correlations are determined between values of the first set of values to establish one or more expected correlations between values of two or more metrics. A second set of values for the set of metrics is obtained. A determination is made as to whether values of the second set of values maintain the one or more expected correlations determined based on the first set of values.

  • Patent number: 11433943
Abstract: A trailer detection system for a vehicle includes a radar system outputting object point location data to a rear of the vehicle and a controller. The controller receives the object point location data and determines a position of an edge of the trailer relative to the vehicle by processing the object point location data from the radar system at a reduced threshold relative to use of the data in detecting a vehicle and filters out object point location data not correlated with the edge of the trailer based on object point location data persistence during driving of the vehicle. The controller further correlates the determined position of the edge of the trailer relative to the vehicle to determine an angle of the trailer relative to the vehicle about a coupling point.

  • Patent number: 11436036
Abstract: An application is provided as a compound virtual appliance having components to be hosted by virtual machines. Each component includes a set of virtual machine disks. Partial versions of the components are created by removing from each component each virtual machine disk determined to be a duplicate of a virtual machine disk of another component. A compact version of the compound virtual appliance is created by packing together the partial versions of the components and a single copy of each virtual machine disk having been determined to be a duplicate. The compact compound virtual appliance is deployed to a customer site. At the customer site, a complete version of the compound virtual appliance is reconstructed by adding back the single copy of each virtual machine disk having been determined to be a duplicate into each component having had the duplicate virtual machine disk removed.

  • Patent number: 11436491
Abstract: Improved convolutional neural network-based machine learning models are disclosed herein. A convolutional neural network is configured to decompose feature maps generated based on a data item to be classified. The feature maps are decomposed into a first and second subsets. The first subset is representative of high frequency components of the data item, and the second subset is representative of low frequency components of the data item. The second subset is upsampled and is combined with the first subset. The combined feature maps are convolved with a filter to extract a set of features associated with the data item. The first subset is also downsampled and combined with the second subset. The combined feature maps are convolved with a filter to extract another set of features. The data item is classified based on the sets of features extracted based on the convolution operations.

Abstract: Techniques for selecting candidates using a personalized model are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a computer system, for each candidate of a plurality of candidates, generating a corresponding confidence score for a combination of the candidate, a particular viewer, and a particular attribute based on a scoring model, with the corresponding confidence score being configured to indicate a likelihood that the particular viewer will select the corresponding candidate as a preference with respect to the particular attribute. The computer system then selects a subset of the plurality of candidates based on the corresponding confidence scores of the candidates in the subset, and causes the subset of candidates to be displayed on a computing device of the viewer along with a prompting for the viewer to select one of the selected subset of candidates as the preference with respect to the particular attribute.

  • Patent number: 11434095
Abstract: Novel materials and devices can remove small defects from long rolls of flexible electronics material while they are in continuous motion. The cleaning materials are designed to remove small particles without transferring defects or damaging the flexible electronics. The device generally consists of variable speed, motor-driven cylinders mounted on moveable brackets. The cylinders are capable of matching the speed of the cleaning material such that the cleaning material is always in contact with the web roll to be cleaned. The brackets are capable of rotating so the same material can be used more than once. Another material is used to remove debris from the cleaning material. A similar device consisting of motor-driven cylinders and moveable is used to apply the debris removal film to the cleaning film, allowing the cleaning film to be used multiple times.
