Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for determining properties of a formation including disposing a core sample of the formation within a core holder assembly, applying pressures to the core sample, rotating the core sample about a center longitudinal axis of the core holder assembly, obtaining a series of computed tomography images of the core sample at different rotation increments of the core sample, generating, based at least partially on the obtained series of computed tomography images of the core sample, a 3D representation of the core sample utilizing a radon transform, measuring a displacement of at least one characteristic of the core sample due to the applied pressures, and based at least partially on the measured displacement, determining at least one property of the formation as a function of the applied pressures.
Abstract: Novel materials and devices can remove small defects from long rolls of flexible electronics material while they are in continuous motion. The cleaning materials are designed to remove small particles without transferring defects or damaging the flexible electronics. The device generally consists of variable speed, motor-driven cylinders mounted on moveable brackets. The cylinders are capable of matching the speed of the cleaning material such that the cleaning material is always in contact with the web roll to be cleaned. The brackets are capable of rotating so the same material can be used more than once. Another material is used to remove debris from the cleaning material. A similar device consisting of motor-driven cylinders and moveable is used to apply the debris removal film to the cleaning film, allowing the cleaning film to be used multiple times.
Abstract: A method for reproducing ultra-short media content includes receiving, by a first computing device of a user, media content items associated with the same event or object. Each of the media content items includes self-contained media fragments. The received media content items are generated by two or more different computing devices. The first computing device sorts the self-contained media fragments based on camera angles of the different computing devices generating corresponding self-contained media fragments with respect to the event or object. The first computing device combines self-contained media fragments into a new media content item based on user-specified criteria to generate a multiple-angle recording of the event or object. Each of the self-contained media fragments is received one by one at the first computing device and displayed as the uninterrupted media stream while subsequent self-contained media fragments are being received from the different computing devices.
Abstract: Antenna monitoring systems and methods can include, among other things, a transmitter near each of the antennas in a distributed antenna system (DAS). The transmitter can transmit an antenna identifier corresponding to that antenna, so that the various transmitters in the DAS each transmit different antenna identifiers. These antenna identifiers can be detected by a receiver and can be processed to determine whether any antenna identifiers are missing. If any expected antenna identifier is missing, the receiver can infer that the antenna or a component associated with the antenna (such as cabling) may have failed. The receiver can then output an indication or notification that may be accessed by maintenance personnel and/or emergency personnel to enable them to identify and repair the non-functioning antenna or component. The transmitter can transmit other data, such as environmental data, RF data, or the like, to facilitate additional or alternative monitoring functionality.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes deploying a learning bot onto a system of bots, where the learning bot monitors a first bot of the system of bots, the first bot executing a first automated process. The method further includes determining a learning phase of the learning bot. The learning bot utilizes a plurality of learning phases including a first learning phase, a second learning phase and a third learning phase. The method also includes, responsive to a determination that the learning bot is in the third learning phase, the learning bot: monitoring activity related to the first automated process; collecting data related to the monitored activity; analyzing at least a portion of the collected data; identifying an automatic tuning adjustment responsive to the analyzing; and automatically making the automatic tuning adjustment to the first automated process.
Abstract: Examples disclosed herein relate to a gaming device including a memory, a processor, a display, and a call tower. The call tower extends upwardly from the gaming device, such as above the display. The call tower includes a call tower video display and may include one or more plates, such as light or image plates. The gaming device includes a processor which presents a game via the display and causes the plates and/or call tower video display to display information, such as images.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for live fire gaming wherein the system includes a camera, coupled to a server, for capturing images of a target onto which projectiles are being shot by a shooting device, a processing algorithm, implemented through the server, for identifying each single incremental change to the target associated with an initial and subsequent impact points of projectiles shot onto the target, each identification using only one captured image from the camera for each impact point, and a user-interface touch screen display, coupled to the server, for displaying and interfacing with one or more of: a representation of the target showing the impact points, marketing material, firearm safety information, and firearm training instructions.
Abstract: A system is provided including a processor, a memory, a wireless controller, and a prayer rug. The prayer rug includes a display screen, one or more pressure sensors, and one or more proximity sensors. The prayer rug may also include one or more speakers. The wireless controller is configured to change what is displayed on the display screen. The pressure sensors are configured to sense a change in pressure applied at a number of pressure points and output pressure information. The proximity sensors are configured to sense a distance away an object is from the one or more proximity sensors. The processor is configured to receive pressure information from the pressure sensors and proximity information from the proximity sensors and determine a prayer posture from the received pressure and proximity information. The processor may generate an alert if the determined prayer posture is detected as being incorrect.
Abstract: A lock including: a retractable knob; and a knob release mechanism for retaining the retractable knob in a retracted position, the knob release mechanism retains the retractable knob in the retracted position until a motor of the knob release mechanism is actuated by an input provided to a keypad located on a surface of the lock.
Abstract: According to the invention, there is provided seed and plants of the corn variety designated CV430649. The invention thus relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of the variety CV430649, and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing a corn plant of variety CV430649 with itself or with another corn plant, such as a plant of another variety. The invention further relates to corn seeds and plants produced by crossing plants of variety CV430649 with plants of another variety, such as another inbred line. The invention further relates to the inbred and hybrid genetic complements of plants of variety CV430649.
Abstract: A touch-sensitive device, including a capacitive touch-sensitive surface including an array of electrodes. The touch-sensitive device may further include processing circuitry configured to determine a detected position at which a stylus contacts or hovers above the capacitive touch-sensitive surface. The processing circuitry may determine, based at least in part on the detected position, a first and second electrode set of the electrodes included in the array. The detected position may be located proximate to one or more first row electrodes and/or one or more first column electrodes included in the first electrode set. The second electrode set may include a plurality of second row electrodes and a plurality of second column electrodes not included in the first electrode set.
