Abstract: An automotive battery cable includes an electrical wire, a terminal crimped onto a distal end of the electrical wire, and a sleeve positioned on the electrical wire and extending over an attachment point between the terminal and the electrical wire, the sleeve including a first portion including a body and a neck, the body including an inner surface having contour features adapted to allow the body to deform and compress against the attachment point and matching the shape of the attachment point to sealingly encapsulate the attachment point, and the neck extending from the body around and along the electrical wire, and a second portion encircling and compressing the body onto the attachment point to seal the attachment point within the first portion and to provide a positive stop to limit relative motion of the electrical wire and the terminal at the attachment point.

Abstract: An audio notification system for an autonomous vehicle (AV) determines that the AV is within range of a user and emits a sound though a speaker of the AV to notify that the user that the vehicle has arrived. The audio notification system may include a sensor for sensing that the user has accessed the AV, and turns off the sound in response to the user accessing the AV. The audio notification may be generated according to one or more audio options, e.g., volume, pitch, or audio pattern.

Abstract: A system and method for dynamically generating, defining and customizing forms and workflows based on a user's input and design, and to facilitate content management through real-time artificial intelligence and machine learning processing across a variety of field-force industries and the like. The system and method can be used on a wide variety of physical devices, including web browsers, mobile devices, smartphones and tablets, and can be embedded in software applications. Abstract: An economical blender with a removable, motor driven spindle assembly to perform blending, a motor driven elevator used to lift a cup with food or beverage up to the spindle assembly and a liquid reservoir which allows liquid to be inserted into the food or beverage during blending. The removable spindle assembly has a quick release coupler and a compression spring which connects the quick release coupler to a cup cover. Blending is accomplished by connecting a motor driven inner spindle drive shaft to a concentric outer spindle drive tube through cogged couplers. The outer spindle drive tube powers a blending tool and, like the blending tool, is removable with the spindle assembly for cleaning.

The computer vision module determines a seatbelt-neck distance (SND) and a seatbelt-shoulder distance (SSD) for an occupant of the vehicle. The motor adjusts the height of the seat belt. The controller control the motor to set the height of the seat belt based on the SND and the SSD.

Abstract: Systems and methods to configure and control a smart lighting system via a hub are disclosed herein. In one aspect, a hub can assign a smart light device to a group of smart light devices based on a physical location of the smart light device. The group of smart light devices can correspond to a control profile including default and/or custom parameters to control the smart light device. The hub can automatically assign the smart light device to a group upon connection to the hub or can prompt assignment via a mobile device. In another aspect, the hub can track the usage of lights in a group and adjust the parameters based at least in part on the tracked usage.

Abstract: An interface system generates interfaces for visualizing human-machine interactions including piping systems. The interface system receives, as input, parameters describing a first pipe data object and a second pipe data object. The pipe data objects can be diagrams representing physical piping in an industrial system. Using the parameters of the first and second pipe data objects, the system determines whether images of the pipes in the interface will overlap. When the system renders vector graphic images of the first pipe data object and the second pipe data object, the second pipe data object is rendered with markings that provide a visual indication that the two pipes overlap and are not connected. The interface system further enables a user to edit the piping diagram to combine the first and second pipe data objects into a single combined pipe data object and updates the rendered images for display.

Aliveness marking of secondary objects is integrated with aliveness marking of referenced objects. Allocation of reference-sized secondary object identifier fields in objects which are not primary objects is avoided; a dedicated bit specifies primary objects, together with an object relationship table. A primary object is one with at least one secondary object which is deemed alive by garbage collection if the primary object is alive, without being a referenced object of the primary object. Any referenced objects of the alive primary object will also still be deemed alive. Code paths for marking referenced objects can be shared to allow more efficient secondary object marking. Primary-secondary object relationships may be represented in dependent handles, and may be specified in a hash table or other data structure.
