Abstract: The invention discloses methods and apparatus(es) for the removal and control of pollutants such as gases and suspended particulates in the air of an enclosed space or an outdoor environment by passing the air through absorbent media. The absorbent media includes any liquid, solid or combination of liquid and solid media that is capable of absorbing a material in which it comes in contact. In one aspect of the invention, formaldehyde is removed by air sparging through a liquid such as water, optionally containing additional scavenging agents.
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a system receives, at a host system a public attestation key (PK_ATT) or a signed PK_ATT from a data processing (DP) accelerator over a bus. The system verifies the PK_ATT using a public root key (PK_RK) associated with the DP accelerator. In response to successfully verifying the PK_ATT, the system transmits a kernel identifier (ID) to the DP accelerator to request attesting a kernel object stored in the DP accelerator. In response to the system receives a kernel digest or a signed kernel digest corresponding to the kernel object from the DP accelerator, verifying the kernel digest using the PK_ATT. The system sends the verification results to the DP accelerator for the DP accelerator to access the kernel object based on the verification results.

Abstract: Multiports having connection ports with associated securing features and methods for making the same are disclosed. In one embodiment comprises a multiport for providing an optical connection comprising a shell, a connection port insert, and at least one securing feature. The shell comprises a first end having a first opening leading to a cavity. The connection port insert comprises a body having a front face and at least one connection port comprising an optical connector opening extending from the front face into the connection port insert with a connection port passageway extending through part of the connection port insert to a rear portion, where the connection port insert is sized so that at least a portion of the connection port insert fits into the first opening and the cavity of the shell. The at least one securing feature is associated with the at least one connection port.
Abstract: Computing devices are described that can reduce a hole-in-active-area (HIAA) size for flexible displays. The computing device may reduce an HIAA size for a camera without using a circular opening, which is often used on smartphones. In particular, the computing device may utilize a non-circular opening (e.g., a pill-shaped HIAA) and include a camera positioned eccentrically within the non-circular opening. In this way, the HIAA size is minimized to increase a size of an active area (e.g., comprising emissive regions) of the flexible display. Furthermore, the reduced HIAA size can reduce electrical circuitry needed within the active area. The flexible displays can include both bendable and rollable displays.
Abstract: A method for performing a backup operation includes obtaining, by a backup server, container information associated with a plurality of application containers, generating a container score for each application container in the plurality of application containers based on the container information, identifying a resource availability for a backup agent associated with the plurality of application containers, generating an ordering of the plurality of application containers based on the availability and the container scores, and sending a prioritization list update request to the backup agent based on the ordering.

Abstract: Phosphor-converted LED side reflectors disclosed herein comprise pigments that are photochemically stable under illumination by light from the pcLED. Abstract: A method or system for predicting failures in an earth-boring tool. Communication between one or more nodes in the earth-boring tool may be monitored. Metadata from the communication may be stored in a storage device. The metadata may be compared to historical communication metadata. The metadata may be fed into models built from historic metadata. Predictions from the models may be aggregated in to a recommendation. A failure prediction for each of the one or more nodes may be generated from the comparison.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to laminate composite panels comprising a first layer of fiberglass reinforced polyester (“FRP”) and a second layer of a polyurethane material. The polyurethane layer can comprise a reaction product between an aromatic polyester polyether polyol and a diisocyanate. The polyurethane is cured-in-place on a surface of the FRP, thus creating a laminate composite material wherein the layers are adhered together without application of a separate adhesive layer. The panels exhibit improved water resistance and strength properties. The laminate composite can be adhered to a second material such as wood, polystyrene, polyurethane, or non-wovens. Such panels are particularly suitable for use in recreational vehicles, motor homes, trailers, and as building materials. Methods of making such laminate composite materials are also provided.

Abstract: A method comprising determining a set of position parameters for an inertial measurement unit (IMU) on a headset worn by a user. The set of position parameters includes at least a first yaw measurement and a first roll measurement. The set describes a pointing vector. The method further comprises calculating a drift correction component that describes a rate of correction. The drift correction component is based at least in part on the set of position parameters. Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives a parameter indicating a power control loop out of a plurality of power control loops and a first transmit power control (TPC) command. The UE transmit a first uplink physical channel based on the first TPC command and the indicated power control loop. Further, the UE receive a single downlink channel, wherein the single downlink channel carries a channel allocation and a second TPC command for the UE. The UE transmit a second uplink physical channel using resources based on the channel allocation and at a transmission power level based on the second TPC command.
