Abstract: Techniques for hospitality light are provided. A hospitality light can determine characteristics of the environment in which the hospitality light is installed, determine capabilities of hospitality light, determine one or more objectives of the installation of hospitality light related to providing a hospitality service to a guest in the environment, perform a self-configuration of hospitality light according to the determined one or more objectives, and determine and execute suitable actions for hospitality light to perform to achieve the determined one or more objectives.

Abstract: A building facade system which comprises a frame to support a building facade panel, a unified vertical shear blade anchor, a vertical mullion and an angled anchor member. Abstract: Technologies and techniques for voice-controlled planning control. A system command manager processes voice commands, and a system planning manager generates a Hierarchical Task Network (HTN) plan and transmitting at least a portion of the HTN plan to a processing device via a communications interface. The system planning manager is configured to generate a task from the HTN plan and determine if a voice command confirmation was received from the processing device in response to the generated task. The system planning manager may then generate a subsequent task from the HTN plan if the voice command confirmation is received from the processing device, and execute a repair process on the HTN plan if the voice confirmation is not received.
Abstract: Methods, sample vessels, and instruments are provided for melting curve analysis. A sample is amplified by thermal cycling the sample well between at least an annealing temperature and a denaturation temperature through n cycles, where each cycle includes an in-cycle denaturation step. Fluorescent data is collected during the in-cycle denaturation step of n cycles where n is at least two. Then a composite melting curve is generated using the fluorescent data collected during the denaturation step of each of the n cycles, and the sample is called using the composite melting curve, where the call is a positive or a negative call.

Abstract: Systems and apparatuses for neutralizing acidic compounds in flue gases emitted from a heat recovery coke oven. A representative system includes a spray dry absorber having a barrel that includes a plurality of wall plates that form sidewalls of the barrel. The wall plates include a steel plate and a corrosion resistant alloy cladded to the steel plate and the wall plates are oriented such that the corrosion resistant alloy faces toward and is in fluid communication with an interior area of the barrel. The alloy is resistant to corrosion caused by the acidic compounds in the flue gas and can prevent the steel plate from being corroded by these acidic compounds.

Abstract: A wireless mobile device is used to control an HVAC temperature setpoint in a police vehicle containing a police dog. A wireless signal specifying a commanded temperature setting is checked to prevent malicious adjustments by a hacker. The commanded temperature setting is rejected when it is outside a predetermined range between an absolute minimum and an absolute maximum. When an outside ambient temperature is below a cold-day threshold, then the commanded temperature setting is rejected when it requests a temperature decrease. When the outside ambient temperature is above a hot-day threshold, then the commanded temperature setting is rejected when it requests a temperature increase. Otherwise, when the commanded temperature setting is not rejected as being outside the predetermined range, as being a decrease when below the cold-day threshold, or as being an increase when above the hot-day threshold, then the temperature setpoint is set to match the commanded setting.

Abstract: System and methods for preventing the coverage or fill of ineffective medications are provided. Genetic efficacy testing results are received at a pharmacy benefits manager (“PBM”) system from a laboratory information system. Abstract: An apparatus, material and method for forming a brazing sheet has a composite braze liner layer of low melting point aluminum alloy and 4000 series braze liner. The low melting point layer of the composite braze liner facilitates low temperature brazing and decrease of the diffusion of magnesium from the core into the composite braze liner. The reduction of magnesium diffusion also lowers the formation of associated magnesium oxides at the braze joint interface that are resistant to removal by Nocolok flux, thereby facilitating the formation of good brazing joints through the use of low temperature controlled atmosphere brazing (CAB) and Nocolok flux. The apparatus also enables the production of brazing sheet materials with high strength and good corrosion property.

One method includes receiving, by the server, a request from electronics of a vehicle to access a profile for a user account. The request identifies user information for a user to use the vehicle. The method includes processing, by the server, at least part of the user information to verify the user against data associated with the user account. The profile has a plurality of settings of the user for the vehicle, and at least part of the plurality of settings for the profile being stored on storage accessible to the cloud services system. The method includes transferring, by the server, upon verification of the user information, one or more settings of the plurality of settings to the vehicle.
