Abstract: A micro puree machine including a housing, a power shaft, a bowl assembly and a platform. The power shaft extends from the housing. The bowl assembly including at least one locking bowl element. The platform includes at least one complementary locking platform element that is configured to engage the at least one locking bowl element such that rotation of the bowl assembly relative to the platform is prevented at times the bowl assembly is positioned thereon. The platform is rotatable from a first position to a second position relative to the housing such that the platform raises the bowl assembly towards the power shaft during the rotation of the bowl assembly and platform. The raising of the bowl assembly facilitates connection between the power shaft and a blade assembly that is positioned in a lid assembly on the bowl assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220226206
Abstract: The present invention is directed to targeted delivery of a cold slurry underneath a patient's skin to improve the cosmetic appearance of the skin. The “target” tissue can be muscle tissue that when cooled cannot contract and cause wrinkles/lines in the skin to appear. The target tissue can also be adipose tissue that causes overlying tissue to sag and form wrinkles/lines. The cold slurry induces apoptosis, and reduces the size of the tissue, and causes the connective tissue supporting the skin to thicken and tighten, thereby reducing wrinkles/lines. Skin can also be tightened with cold slurry injected into the dermis layer of the skin or within the layers of the oral mucosa making a cold slurry treatment ideal for reducing the appearance of baggy skin after a patient loses weight and or for treating obstructive sleep apnea. Cold slurry can also be used to treat cellulite and acne.

  • Publication number: 20220227643
Abstract: This invention relates to a treatment method and apparatus directed to improving water quality, increasing net energy production, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions without employing bioreactor processing for waters containing suspended organic solids, PPCPs, PFAS, negative colloids, heavy metals, phosphates, nitrates, carbonates, silicates, chlorides and sodium ions. It employs SO2, sulfites and bisulfites to self-agglomerate suspended organic solids with sorbed PFAS and PPCPs, and acid leach heavy metals into solution. Subsequent liming filtration separates of metal hydroxides and insoluble calcium salts while chemically conditioning the separated organic solids for gasification or burning. The second filtrate is then exposed to ultra violet light for pathogen disinfection, and exciting sulfites to remove nitrates, and degrade PFAS and PPCPs to form a disinfected metal free salt balanced reclaimed wastewater with reduced PFAS, PPCPs, pathogens and negligible nitrogen and phosphorous.

The method may include contacting the hydrogenation feed with an acetylene hydrogenation catalyst to hydrogenate at least a portion of the acetylene in the hydrogenation feed to produce a hydrogenated effluent. The steam cracking is operated under conditions that increase CO production such that a concentration of CO in the cracked gas is great enough that when a flowrate of the FCDh effluent is zero, a CO concentration in the hydrogenation feed is at least 100 ppmv.
