Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and non-transitory computer-readable storage mediums for video encoding/decoding are provided. In a method, prediction information of a current block of a coding unit tree is generated. The prediction information indicates at least one block partitioning structure is allowed for the current block and a SBT mode is used for the current block. A partition direction and a partition size of the SBT mode for the current block is determined based on the at least one allowed block partitioning structure indicated in the prediction information and based on a comparison between at least one dimension of the current block and a first threshold. A partition of the current block based on the partition direction and the partition size of the SBT mode is different from at least one partition of the current block based on the at least one allowed block partitioning structure indicated in the prediction information.

Abstract: The present application provides an apparatus and method of determining water filming amine concentration, which includes performing a measuring cycle and a cleaning cycle. The measuring cycle includes providing sample water to a sample water measuring container, providing, to the sample water measuring container, one or more reaction chemicals which generate color in the sample water, emitting light, via a light emitter, at a wavelength range and intensity range, through the sample water having the generated color, to a light receiver, receiving an indication of a light intensity of the light emitted through the sample water and determining a filming amine concentration of the sample water based on the light intensity. The cleaning cycle includes providing a cleaning reagent to remove amines from the sample water measuring container.

Abstract: A method for improving computational speed of a vehicle modeling processor, includes discretizing a continuous space road map by generating a first graph node associated with a first infrastructure feature and a first area and generating a second graph node associated with a second infrastructure feature and a second area. The system determines a first graph node area associated with the first graph node, determines a second graph node area associated with the second graph node, and determines a connecting link type that connects the first graph node to the second graph node, and computing a set of probabilities for nodes occupied by a vehicle agent of a plurality of vehicle agents. The system generates a simulation that models a vehicle agent driving action based on set of driving actions probabilities. Processing performance of the modeling computer is improved by omitting computations for non-occupied nodes using cellular automata rules.

The master insert includes opposed tapered edge faces, each tapered edge face defining at least one locking feature, a first surface having a variable taper and a plurality of recesses configured to receive a portion of the variable taper component, and a tapered second surface opposite the first surface. Each interlocking piece includes opposed tapered edge faces, one of the opposed tapered edge faces defining a locking feature and another of the opposed tapered edge faces defining a receiving feature to engage the locking feature of an adjacent interlocking piece, a first surface defining a variable taper and a plurality of recesses configured to receive a portion of the variable taper component, and a tapered second surface opposite the first surface.

Abstract: A system for detecting three-way calls in a monitored telephone conversation includes a speech recognition processor that transcribes the monitored telephone conversation and associates characteristics of the monitored telephone conversation with a transcript thereof, a database to store the transcript and the characteristics associated therewith, and a three-way Call detection processor to analyze the characteristics of the conversation and to detect therefrom the addition of one or more parties to the conversation. The system preferably includes at least one domain-specific language model that the speech recognition processor utilizes to transcribe the conversation. The system may operate in real-time or on previously recorded conversations. A query and retrieval system may be used to retrieve and review call records from the database.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for on-demand delivery of a payload by an unmanned vehicle. An unmanned vehicle may comprise a chamber configured to house a payload and adjust a payload state. The payload state may be adjusted based on detection of a tampering event. An unmanned vehicle may also comprise an authentication system configured to allow access to the payload.

The MME selects a network gateway from a plurality of network gateways, based on a second number of bearers supported by the network gateway. The MME sends, to the network gateway, a create session request message for creating a session for the wireless device. The MME receives, from the network gateway, a create session response message confirming creation of the session.

Abstract: A micro puree machine including a housing, a power shaft, a bowl assembly and a platform. The power shaft extends from the housing. The bowl assembly including at least one locking bowl element. The platform includes at least one complementary locking platform element that is configured to engage the at least one locking bowl element such that rotation of the bowl assembly relative to the platform is prevented at times the bowl assembly is positioned thereon. The platform is rotatable from a first position to a second position relative to the housing such that the platform raises the bowl assembly towards the power shaft during the rotation of the bowl assembly and platform. The raising of the bowl assembly facilitates connection between the power shaft and a blade assembly that is positioned in a lid assembly on the bowl assembly.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to method and/or device which is effective at cancelling or altering electrical signals or pulses, generated by, for example, digital electronic systems and components, that are induced, reflected or otherwise made present on the mains power supply conductors and/or the earthing or grounding conductor (if present.) The disclosed embodiments cancel these electrical signals thereby providing an effective means of preventing the exfiltration of various data from a computing or similar system by means of power line emissions. The disclosed embodiments may perform this subjugation by: altering the shape of the fundamental current and voltage waveforms and also altering and diminishing any non-fundamental frequency waveforms to a point where they are no longer measurable or detectable; and preventing the communication via inductive coupling of any electrical signals on mains current onto the grounding path or vice versa.

Abstract: Described herein is a system for automatically capturing images. A device may execute an application on the device. In response to receiving a request for capturing an image of a document, the application may control the operation of the camera to contemporaneously and continuously capture image frames of an area within the field of view of a camera of the device. The field of view may include an object and in turn may be included in the captured image frames. The application may determine whether the aspect ratio and real-world size of the object in the captured image frames corresponds with a specified threshold size and aspect ratio which corresponds with a given document type. In response to determining the object corresponds to the given document type, the camera may automatically extract an image of the object.

Abstract: Methods and systems can automate the delivery of motor vehicle fuel while reducing the need for operator involvement and driving to a gas station. A server with access to a database and in wireless communication with computers installed in a motor vehicle can collect data from the computers including vehicle fuel level and vehicle geographic location. The data can be compared to the data to a fuel level threshold and geographic boundary. The data can be transmitted wirelessly through a wireless network to the database. A mobile fuel tanker truck can be dispatched to the vehicle's location when at least one of: fuel service is requested by a user of the vehicle or the vehicle's fuel level falls beneath the fuel level threshold. Fuel service can be requested by a user via a smartphone running an application that enables the monitoring, management, selection, and ordering of fuel service.

Abstract: A base station distributed unit sends, to a base station central unit, configuration parameters of at least one periodic radio resource for packet transmissions of a wireless device in a radio resource control, RRC, inactive or RRC idle state. The base station distributed unit maintains, in the RRC inactive or RRC idle state of the wireless device, the configuration parameters of the at least one periodic radio resource. The base station distributed unit receives, from the wireless device in the RRC inactive or RRC idle state, one or more transport blocks via the at least one periodic radio resource.

Abstract: A propulsion control system has an electric motor configured to generate an axle torque in response to a final torque command, and has a motor constraint that specifies a maximum torque. A motor controller is configured to generate the final torque command in response to an intermediate torque command and a distributed power limit command. An open-loop function in supervisory controller is configured to calculate an initial torque command vector in response to a driver torque command, calculate an intended operating vector by mapping the initial torque command vector into a multidimensional power space, generate the intermediate torque command by clipping the intended operating vector in response to the motor constraint, generate a constrained command vector by clipping the intended operating vector in response to the motor constraint and a plurality of energy storage constraints, and generate the distributed power limit command in response to the constrained command vector.

Abstract: This document describes a speaker-integration system and associated devices and systems. The speaker-integration system includes a speaker that is re-workably mounted, via an elastomeric gasket, to an intermediate structure that is mountable to an outer enclosure of an electronic device. The intermediate structure forms a cavity in which the speaker is sealed, effective to use the cavity as the speaker's back volume to contain acoustic waves without impacting other structures in the electronic device. The front of the speaker is sealed against the outer enclosure by a gasket that controls, based on its placement and geometry, axial and radial directions of the speaker relative to the intermediate structure to prevent the speaker from buzzing against surrounding rigid parts. The speaker has wires that exit the back volume via a detachable grommet, which controls positioning of the wires to prevent rub and buzz against surrounding parts.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a nonwoven web, said nonwoven web including a plurality of fibers including a blend of fiber forming materials, the blend of fiber forming materials including a first polyvinyl alcohol polymer. The blend of fiber forming materials further comprises a second polyvinyl alcohol polymer or does not include carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose or starch. The nonwoven web can be water-dispersible, optionally water-soluble, and/or flushable. The disclosure further provides a pouch including a nonwoven web including a plurality of fibers according to the disclosure. In some embodiments, the water dispersible pouch can include a laminate comprising a water-soluble film and a nonwoven web of the disclosure.

The base station sends a random access response to the preamble and receives at least one first radio resource control (RRC) message comprising a first information element indicating that an RRC connection of the wireless device is for the RLOS and a second information element comprising an attach request message indicating, to a mobility management entity (MME) configured with an RLOS access point name, that an attach request of the wireless device is for the RLOS. The base station sends to the wireless device a second RRC message comprising an attach accept message indicating acceptance of the RLOS by the MME.

Abstract: The present invention is a trigger stop device for use with a video game controller having at least one trigger. The trigger stop device has the same number of stoppers that the video game controller has triggers. The release point of each trigger is determined experimentally. The trigger stop device is affixed to the video game controller such that an upper portion of each stopper has a line-to-line fit with a prominence of each trigger. In this way, the trigger stop device stops the trigger travel at the release point. A user will be able to depress the trigger to a hard-stop more quickly. The trigger will rebound more quickly.

Abstract: A robotic surgical tool includes an elongate shaft extendable through a handle providing a drive input, a drive cable extending along a portion of the shaft and having a proximal end anchored to the shaft proximal to the handle and a distal end anchored to the shaft distal to the handle, an actuation system housed within the handle and operatively coupled to the drive input such that actuation of the drive input operates the actuation system, and a toggle mechanism arranged at a proximal end of the shaft and actuatable to close or open opposing jaws of an end effector arranged at a distal end of the shaft. The drive cable is threaded through portions of the actuation system and the toggle mechanism such that operation of the actuation system acts on the drive cable and thereby actuates the toggle mechanism to close or open the opposing jaws.
