Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for determining an appropriate FPGA for a particular computer program. An embodiment operates by a central processing unit's counter identifying a plurality of workload properties in processing a computer program, wherein the central processing unit is part of a first computer architecture. The central processing unit then sends the workload properties to a controller trained to identify a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) module based on the plurality of workload properties. The central processing unit thereafter receives a recommended FPGA module from the controller and implements the recommended FPGA module in a computer architecture for processing the computer program, whereby the second computer architecture is able to perform the computer program more efficiently than the first computer architecture.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to an optical reference element having a wavelength spectrum comprising a plurality of wavelength functions having wavelength peaks spaced over a range of wavelengths, wherein adjacent wavelength functions are due to two orthogonal birefringence axes in the optical reference element. Aspects of the present disclosure may eliminate the drift issues associated with residual polarization and polarization dependent loss (PDL) with respect to grating-based sensor and reference element measurements.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for object detection and classification, and particularly produce detection and classification. A system configured according to this disclosure can receiving, at a processor, an image of an item. The system can then perform, across multiple pre-trained neural networks, feature detection on the image, resulting in feature maps of the image. These feature maps can be concatenated and combined, then input into an additional neural network for feature detection on the combined feature map, resulting in tiered neural network features. The system then classifies, via the processor, the item based on the tiered neural network features.
Abstract: Embodiments generally relate to a surgical resource allocation system. Patients seeking a procedure can use the system to identify surgeons and surgical facilities. The patient can then use the system to book the procedure with a selected surgeon at a selected facility. In an example, a patient can indicate a need for a certain procedure. The patient can then provide criteria for a surgeon or facility, such as a desired location, desired time, surgeon rankings, and facility rankings. The system can then identify surgeons and facilities that match the criteria and present them for selection by the patient. The patient can then select the surgeon and facility with which the patient would like the procedure performed. With the surgeon and facility selected, the patient can then choose to book the procedure.
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention refrigerant compositions are disclosed. The compositions comprise a refrigerant mixture consisting essentially of HFC-32, HFO-1234yf, and CO2. The compositions are useful in processes to produce cooling and heating, in methods for replacing refrigerant R-32, and in refrigeration, air conditioning or heat pump systems. These inventive compositions are match cooling performance for R-32 with GWP less than 400 or less than 300.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for post-extrusion filling and closing of an extrudate includes a feeder arranged in relation to an extruded rope of material flowing from an extrusion die of an extruder, wherein the rope of material has an opening that can receive a filler material. The feeder deposits the filler material into the opening of the rope of material as the rope of material flows by the feeder. A former receives the rope of material after the feeder has deposited the filler material into the opening of the rope. The former shapes the rope of material and close a portion or all of the rope around at least a portion of the deposited filler material to retain the filler material within the rope. A cutter may axially cut the rope to form the opening. A finisher may cut the shaped rope into portions containing the deposited filler material.
