Patent number: 11387935Abstract: Message failures due to noise and interference cause unnecessary delays and reduction in reliability in wireless networks. To detect, localize, and correct transmission faults in 5G and 6G networks, the receiver can measure the “modulation quality” of each message reference element, according to how closely the amplitude and phase match the amplitude and phase levels of the modulation scheme. If the message is faulted, the receiver can re-assign each message element with poor modulation quality to the adjacent states, or if necessary to each state in the modulation scheme, and may thereby find the correct message value in many cases. Certain zones around each modulation state can indicate how the message element has been distorted by interference, and thereby indicate where to search for the correct state of that message element.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 2022Date of Patent: July 12, 2022Assignee: ULTRALOGIC 6G, LLCInventors: David E. Patent number: 11383339Abstract: Methods and devices relating to loose debris chip shielding for dust free tile removal and ordinary tile removal projects. During the tile removal process, a chipping hammer powers a chipping hammer blade that breaks up tiles into pieces. The larger, heavier pieces are simply pushed away, but smaller debris chips break off with enough force to send them flying up in the air and in different directions landing in undesirable locations. The methods and devices herein protect equipment, environments, and individuals from damage caused by loose debris chips during tile removal. A shield with several degrees of freedom moves freely in response to chipping hammer vibrations and blocks loose flying debris chips, deflecting them toward the ground.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 2018Date of Patent: July 12, 2022Assignee: SKITTER & SQUIRT ADVENTURES, LLCInventor: Jack M. Patent number: 11386384Abstract: Methods and systems for recipient-assisted recharging during delivery by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) are disclosed herein. During a UAV transport task, a UAV determines that the UAV has arrived at a delivery location specified by a first flight leg of the transport task. The UAV responsively initiates a notification process indicating that a recipient-assisted recharging process should be initiated at or near the delivery location. When the UAV determines that the recipient-assisted recharging process has recharged a battery of the UAV to a target level, and also determines that a non-returnable portion of the payload has been removed from the UAV while a returnable portion of the payload is coupled to or held by the UAV, the UAV initiates a second flight segment of the transport task.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 2017Date of Patent: July 12, 2022Assignee: Wing Aviation LLCInventors: Jesse Blake, André Prager, Eric Teller

Patent number: 11383838Abstract: Systems, methods, and aircraft for managing center of gravity (CG) while transporting large cargo are described. Management of CG is achieved in many ways. In some instances, the aircraft itself is designed to assist in managing CG by providing fuel tanks that minimize the impact of fuel on the net CG of the aircraft. The fuel tanks utilize only a small amount of available volume in the wings for fuel. Disclosures related to properly managing CG while loading wind turbines onto cargo aircraft are also provided. The CG management techniques provided for herein allow for the transportation of wind turbine blades via aircraft, running counter to the typical rail or truck transportation of the same. One such management technique includes accounting for how a rotation of the blades when loading impacts the CG of the blades, and thus taking this into account when placing the blades in the aircraft.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2021Date of Patent: July 12, 2022Assignee: ZSM HOLDINGS LLCInventors: Etan D.
