  • Patent number: 11376614
Abstract: A showerhead assembly is provided which includes an outer housing and inner housing. The inner housing includes a support disk and gear housing disk having two diverter arms and a gear train. The gear train includes a propeller, a coaxial pinion, and a large gear. The outer housing includes the base and a faceplate having nozzle systems connecting to complementary orifices. Water enters the internal housing via a channel where it is further diverted by the diverter arms so as to impinge on the gear train's propeller, causing the gear train's individual components to rotate. Upon the rotation of the large gear, the large gear's slot aligns with a selected orifice whereby water travels through and enters a corresponding nozzle system. This sequence continues, causing water to sequentially spray from individual nozzles in systematic intervals so as to create a strobe-like spray pattern.

  • Patent number: 11378709
Abstract: An outer tubular is imaged by a pad assembly disposed within an inner tubular inserted within the outer tubular. The pad assembly is in contact with the inner tubular, and includes an acoustic pressure source, a backing mounted to a side of the acoustic pressure source, and an intervening layer between the acoustic pressure source and inner tubular. Signals generated by the pad assembly propagate radially outward from the inner tubular and reflect from the outer tubular. The generated and reflected signals travel through a medium between the inner and outer tubulars. An estimate of the distance between the inner and outer tubulars is based on the time from generation of the signal to when the reflected signal is sensed.

  • Patent number: 11379286
Abstract: This disclosure relates to selectively performing a read with increased accuracy, such as a self-reference read, from a memory. In one aspect, data is read from memory cells, such as magnetoresistive random access memory (MRAM) cells, of a memory array. In response to detecting a condition associated with reading from the memory cells, a self-reference read can be performed from at least one of the memory cells. For instance, the condition can indicate that data read from the memory cells is uncorrectable via decoding of error correction codes (ECC). Selectively performing self-reference reads can reduce power consumption and/or latency associated with reading from the memory compared to always performing self-reference reads.

  • Patent number: 11376044
Abstract: Embodiments of the present technology pertain to a system for hyper-localized immobilization of a bone structures. In various embodiments the system includes a power supply, the power supply being internal or external to a patient and allowing for variable control of electric current from the power supply. Embodiments further include a first micro-electromagnet being internal to the patient and being placed in a first bracket that is secured to a first side of the bone structure generating half of an electromagnetic attractive force that will immobilize the other bone structure when a second micro-electromagnet being internal to the patient is placed in a second bracket that is secured to a second side of the bone structure generating the electromagnetic attractive force that immobilizes the bone structure. This method could be applied to stabilize or fixate bone fracture sites when electromagnets leverage attractive forces.

  • Patent number: 11379023
Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to methods, computing devices, and head-mounted display (HMD) devices for regulating a surface temperature of a device. In one example, a method comprises determining the surface temperature of a surface of the device, determining an energy accumulator value indicating cumulative energy received by a user via the surface of the device, and using a dynamic temperature limit function to calculate a temperature limit as a function of the energy accumulator value. The method also comprises comparing the surface temperature to the temperature limit. When the surface temperature has not reached the temperature limit, the method comprises incrementing the energy accumulator value. When the surface temperature has reached the temperature limit, the method comprises initiating a thermal mitigation action to cool the surface.

  • Patent number: 11376530
Abstract: A reverse osmosis filter assembly for fluid filtration having a push-activated lock and release mechanism. A push filter design activates a floating key lock upon insertion and extraction, where the filter key may be used simultaneously as a lock and as an identifier for particular filter attributes. The filter base may be situated inline, and in fluid communication, with the raw water ingress, permeate egress, and reject water egress. The reverse osmosis filter housing assembly may be attached to, and removed from, the filter base by a push-actuated release. Upon insertion, the filter key shifts the filter lock longitudinally to receive interlocking segments. Upon extraction, the same axial push shifts the filter lock further to align the interlocking fingers within gaps that allow for easy extraction. The specific key lock design allows a user to identify and match certain filter configurations received by the mechanical support, and reject other filter configurations.

  • Patent number: 11379577
Abstract: Cybersecurity enhancements help avoid malicious Uniform Resource Locators (URLs). Embodiments may reduce or eliminate reliance on subjective analysis or detonation virtual machines. URL substrings are automatically analyzed for maliciousness using malice patterns. Patterns may test counts, lengths, rarity, encodings, and other inherent aspects of URLs. URLs may be analyzed individually, or in groups to detect shared portions, or both. URL analysis may use or avoid machine learning, and may use or avoid lookups. Malice patterns may be used individually or in combinations to detect malicious URLs. Analysis results may enhance security through blocking use of suspect URLs, flagging them for further analysis, or allowing their validated use, for instance. Analysis results may also be fed back to further train a machine learning model or a statistical model.
