Abstract: A wound dressing and method of use is provided that increases healing of tissues by targeting damaged tissue at a predetermined wavelength. The device includes the use of a negative pressure bandage, a flexible light sheet, and one or more bioactive marine extracts. Light emitted from the flexible light sheet penetrates through the bandage to target damaged tissue, which accelerates the wound healing process and works synergistically with the negative pressure bandage and bioactive marine extracts such as collagen fibers, alginate, chitosan and fucoidan, or any combination thereof to accelerate healing.

  • Publication number: 20220181526
Abstract: A first conversion layer material is formed on unmasked pixel areas of a substrate. Mask material is selectively removed from a second set of pixel areas, leaving a third set of pixel areas masked. A coating is formed on sidewalls of the second pixel areas, and then a second conversion layer material is formed on the second pixel areas and against their sidewalls. Mask material is removed from the third pixel areas, a coating is formed on sidewalls of the third pixel areas, and a third conversion layer material is formed on the third pixel areas and against their sidewalls. The resulting wavelength-conversion layer includes contiguously arranged regions of the first, second, and third conversion layer materials, at least two of which are wavelength-converting phosphor materials. The sidewall coatings between the regions act as barriers to lateral light transmission.

  • Publication number: 20220176426
Abstract: Compositions and methods for oxidizing organic contaminants while sequestering inhibitory forms of carbon. An oxidant capable of producing free radicals oxidizes organic contaminants. A metal oxide, metal hydroxide, or metal peroxide generates a soluble hydroxide concentration of about 1×10?4 M or greater to convert carbonic acid, bicarbonate ion, methane, elemental carbon, and other organic forms of carbon to carbonate ion. A metal having a carbonate with a lower solubility product constant than its hydroxide precipitates the carbonate ion as a metal carbonate, thereby eliminating soluble carbonate as a radical scavenger. Compositions and methods that additionally minimize metal solubilization and sequester solubilized metals are also disclosed.

Abstract: Methods and systems are for a content delivery management platform that organizes and monitors content delivery networks by the applications, features, or functions that they serve. The content delivery management platform is agnostic to the content delivery network. To provide this functionality, the content delivery management platform uses an abstraction layer to interface between the content delivery networks and the needs of the content provider (e.g., the owner of the content delivery management platform) as it serves users (e.g., provides the applications, features, or functions).
