Abstract: A ventilation system and method of purging volatile organic compounds from an interior space of the vehicle. The ventilation space including an air extractor connected to a vehicle wall and having an interior side within the interior space defined by the vehicle wall, a fan attached to the interior side, and a controller configured to operate in a shipping mode to activate the fan to generate ventilation flow through the air extractor.

Abstract: A conduit body includes a sidewall defining an internal chamber and at least two ports providing access to the internal chamber, and a cover connectable to the sidewall to enclose the internal chamber. The sidewall defines a first surface section adjacent one of the at least two ports, a second surface section adjacent another of the at least two ports, and a radiused transition section connecting the first surface section and the second surface section and configured for reducing frictional drag of a cable pulled though the internal chamber. The first surface section is spaced apart from the second surface section to increase a volume of the internal chamber.

Abstract: A system, process, and computer-readable medium for securely transferring user personal identification information (PII) across platforms, based on specific permissions, are described. One or more aspects provide greater control, to a user, of when that user's PII may be released from a secure storage in a first platform and securely provided to a second platform. The timing of those releases of the PII may be controlled by specific authorizations from the user via one or more processes. Also, in addition to improving the security associated with the PII transferred between platforms, one or more aspects improve users' experiences by permitting controlled reuse of users' PII to simplify how users provide their PII to separate processes being performed on separate platforms.

Abstract: A system for obtaining energy consumptions, savings and cost reduction in structures adapted for human habitation which includes the utilization of a plurality of mats including phase change material encapsulated within first and second layers of plastic material having heat transfer capability disposed within the plenum area above a ceiling of a room within a building with the amount of phase change material contained within each mat being between 0.5 lbs. and 0.67 lbs. per square foot.

Abstract: The description relates to cameras, such as security cameras, and providing guidance for positioning cameras to achieve desired goals. One example can receive an image of a scene overlaid with transparent indicators that reflect accuracy of object detection in individual regions of the image. The example can correlate input received from the user on the display relative to the regions. The example can analyze subsequent images of the scene with rules derived from the input from the user.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for implementing a distributed search that allows a search engine to retrieve the correct results for a search request even if the search engine does not request the full results from each index shard originally requested in the search request.

Abstract: A communication system includes a cloud server that further includes a processor. The processor obtains sensor data associated with a defined indoor area and a plurality of optical nodes in defined indoor area. The processor further obtains location coordinates of the plurality of optical nodes in the defined indoor area. The processor then causes the master communication device to form a laser beam-based wireless communication network in the defined indoor area based on the obtained sensor data and the location coordinates of the plurality of optical nodes.

Abstract: A greeting card that selectively opens and closes. The greeting card assembly simulates a firework display in the background of a foreground message when opened. The greeting card assembly has a card section that contains an internal compartment covered by a top panel. A plurality of cutouts are formed through the top panel that are shaped as firework starbursts. LEDs are positioned within the internal compartment for selectively backlighting the cutouts. A light diffusing element is interposed between the cutouts and the LEDs. A speaker is positioned within the internal compartment for playing a digital soundtrack of exploding fireworks. At least one foreground panel is provided that is positioned a distance from the top panel when the greeting card assembly is opened. When viewed, the foreground panels stand in front of a card section that is playing a soundtrack and flashing lights behind starburst cutouts to simulate background fireworks.

Abstract: A system for simulating network configurations includes data processing hardware and memory hardware in communication with the data processing hardware. The memory hardware stores instructions that when executed on the data processing hardware cause the data processing hardware to perform operations. The operation includes receiving one or more parameter changes for a production network model of a network. The operations also include generating a simulation network model including the one or more parameter changes. Another operation includes analyzing the simulated network flow within the simulation network model. The operations also include generating a report including an impact of the parameter changes on the network. The operations may also include receiving a production network log including a recorded workflow for the production network model and simulating the production workflow of the production network log within the simulation network model to generate a simulated network log.

Abstract: A hardware unit relies on non-flashable circuitry for improving security for a system connected to a public or private network. The hardware unit can be added to a network without substantial modifications to the other devices already connected to the network. The hardware unit includes a switch that has at least two positions. In one of the two positions, the hardware unit detects and blocks or drops data packets or frames that contain an instruction of a known file-sharing protocol other than a reading instruction when the instruction is not addressed to a runtime file but transmits all the data packets or frames when the instruction is addressed to a runtime file. Thus, a cyber attack may be prevented instantaneously by what it attempts to do, typically the creation, insertion, deletion, update, renaming, or writing of files to compromise code or data while retaining the usual browser functionality.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for implementing a success rate SLI solution for service pipelines. In aspects, a metrics service may detect that a number of payloads relating to one or more activities or service requests have been received at one or more services of a service pipeline. For each payload processed by a service of the service pipeline, the metrics service may determine a set of payload processing metrics for the service. The set of payload processing metrics for the service may be applied to the payload. The payload processing metrics for each service may be aggregated and used to calculate a success rate for payloads processed using the service pipeline. Based on the success rate, an SLI may be evaluated and/or an action associated with the activity/service request may be performed.

Abstract: A cleaning assembly for cleaning a surgical instrument includes a first cleaning segment and a second cleaning segment. The first and second cleaning segments present a respective first and second cleaning interface configured to be contacted by a first surgical instrument. The first and second cleaning segments collectively define an instrument receiving channel sized and shaped to receive therein a second surgical instrument to thereby secure the first and second cleaning segments to the second surgical instrument. At least one buffer layer is disposed on an inside surface of one or both the first and second cleaning segments, the buffer layer positioned so as to contact the second surgical instrument when the second surgical instrument is positioned within the instrument receiving channel. At least one tab extends from the cleaning assembly, the tab providing an interface for a user to grasp the cleaning assembly.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating a trajectory of a vehicle are disclosed. The methods include generating a spatial domain speed profile for a path represented as a sequence of poses of a vehicle between a first point and a second point. Generation of the spatial domain speed profile uses a longitudinal problem while excluding a derate interval on the path when speed of the vehicle cannot exceed a threshold. The methods further include generating a derate profile using the spatial domain speed profile and the derate interval, and transforming the derate interval to a temporal derate interval. The temporal derate interval may include time steps at which the speed of the vehicle cannot exceed the threshold while traversing the path, and may be used as an input to the longitudinal problem for generating a trajectory of the vehicle for navigating between the first point and the second point.

Abstract: Real-time monitored computed tomography (CT) reconstruction for reducing a radiation does. During helical CT scanning of a target object, projections may be acquired in either a full mode which subjects the target object to a full radiation dose, or a reduced mode which subjects the target object to a reduced radiation dose (e.g., by reducing the number of projections acquired, reducing the exposure time, etc.). After a sector is acquired in the full mode, a slice of the target object that is influenced by that sector is identified, and a CT image of that slice is reconstructed using projections that have been previously acquired for that slice. When a stopping rule is satisfied based on this partial reconstruction, the full mode is switched to the reduced mode, and at least one subsequent sector is acquired in the reduced mode.

The transaction is associated with one or more purchase characteristics. The method includes recording an unmodified version of the one or more purchase characteristics of the transaction on the ledger in response to determining the one or more purchase characteristics do not match the one or more criteria characteristics.

Abstract: Accelerated filtered back projection for computed tomography image reconstruction. In an embodiment, a filtered back projection is performed on a sinogram. The back projection may comprise transitioning the sinogram to a linogram using linear interpolation, and performing an inverse Fast Hough Transform on the linogram to produce a reconstructed CT image. Filtering in the filtered back projection may use an infinite impulse response (IIR) filter.

Abstract: Techniques, systems, and devices are disclosed for spatial and temporal encoding of transmission in full synthetic transmit aperture imaging to achieve optimal spatial and contrast resolution and large signal-to-noise ratio for medical imaging applications with fewer signal transmissions, which can be equal to or less than the number of array elements within the aperture. In some aspects, a method of signal transmission is disclosed that includes a sequence of one or more sets of transmissions on a plurality of elements with unique, random, and/or optimized combinations of waveforms using amplitude and phase, and/or delay encoding. Sets of echoes corresponding to the sequence are beamformed such that fewer transmissions are needed than the number of array elements within the aperture, while maintaining complete spatial sampling of the aperture as if sampled according to a full set of synthetic transmit aperture transmissions on the same aperture.

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to an air cooling system for an electronic spinning assembly. An example embodiment includes a plurality of vanes coupled to a static base. A vane cover is rotatably coupled to the static base. The vane cover includes at least one air inlet, at least one air duct extending from the vane cover, and at least one choke point disposed in the cover. The at least one choke point is configured to increase a pressure of the airflow.
