Abstract: Systems and methods described herein provide a configurable base plate for industrial pump configurations, including different combinations of pump, motor, and coupling types. Slotted motor adapters allow for axial adjustment of the motor position, and movable threaded mounting lugs lock in the motor position for ease of future maintenance, replacement, disassembly, and repeated reassembly. The mounting lugs are locked into place by affixing jackscrew lugs, which serve to both semi-permanently locate the motor mounting locations, and also provide a point to install a jackscrew used to finely adjust motor position and coupling alignment. A single adjustable coupling guard is compatible with a variety of pump, coupling, and motor configurations that fit on the base plate.

Abstract: Systems and methods of preventing an event occurrence or mitigating effects of an event occurrence in an industrial facility are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a first input is received from a first sensor and, based at least in part on the first input, an initial action is automatically generated. In response to the initial action, a second input is received from a second sensor and, based at least in part of the received first and second inputs, a likelihood of an event occurrence is determined. Based at least in part of the determined likelihood, a remedial action configured to prevent the occurrence of the event occurrence is automatically generated. In some embodiments, the remedial action is generated in real-time and can be directed to a process condition, environmental condition, or secondary source.

Abstract: Techniques to apply machine learning to schedule events of interest for a device user. As described herein, a typical device user is inundated with information suggesting activities and other things to do. Using these techniques, the information is categorized according to the activity and those activities that are most likely to be engaged in by the device user are recommended to the device user (via their device) as events of interest. If the device user selects an event of interest, the device is updated to reflect that selection. For instance, a calendar application may be updated to include an event description at the event's date and time. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Chemical-resistant polymer concrete and methods of use thereof are described herein. The polymer concrete comprises a polymer layer and aggregates. The polymer layer is formed by reacting an epoxy vinyl ester resin promoted with cobalt and catalyzed by a peroxide. A concrete substrate is formed by layering the polymer layer and aggregates in thin alternating layers until a desired thickness is achieved. This layering method can reduce shrinkage of the concrete, thereby preventing cracking, deformation or debonding.
Abstract: To provide dynamic generation and suggestion of map tiles, a server device receives from a user device a request for map data for a particular geographic region. The server device obtains a set of user contextual data and a set of candidate map tiles associated with the particular geographic region. The server device then selects one or more of the set of candidate map tiles based on the set of user contextual data, and transmits the one or more selected map tile to the user device for display.
Abstract: A lighting device for frequency-modulated emission of a light-emitting diode (LED). The lighting device allows for higher operating frequencies and has an improved quality of the emitted light signal. Embodiments of the lighting device include an LED; a resonant driver circuit with a tuned circuit that is configured to drive the LED at an operating frequency that is based on parameters of the LED.
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for determining changes or revisions to a set of data and providing a user with a computerized graphical depiction of these changes through the use of multiple geometric shapes, the positioning of which shapes relative to one another and the size of which shapes relative to one another depict the changes to the user.

The splitter system can also include an attached adhesive dispenser for providing adhesive to the multi-nozzle adapter.
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to decode receipts based on neural graph architecture. An apparatus includes interface circuitry to obtain an image of a document; machine readable instructions; and programmable circuitry to execute the machine readable instructions to at least generate nodes for a feature graph based on features extracted from text boxes, the nodes including polar coordinates indicative of angular positions of the text boxes; pass the feature graph through a graph neural network to generate an adjacency matrix; and identify text lines in the image of the document by clustering the nodes by line based on the adjacency matrix.

Abstract: A visual display system creates various visual and audible effects from the motion of light particulate matter, such as beads. The system makes use of a variable flow air array generation device that facilitates a variable flow air array within the chamber. The device includes three or more array sections and a controller. The array sections each contribute distinct but coordinated air flows that coalesce with each other into forming the variable flow air array within the chamber. The controller controls each of the array sections. The variable flow air array generated by the device agitates, fluidizes, suspends, or floats at least some of a plurality of beads in the chamber creating a dynamic display of beads within the chamber.
Abstract: Controlling heating and cooling in a conditioned space utilizes a fluid circulating in a thermally conductive structure in fluid connection with a hydronic-to-air heat exchanger and a ground heat exchanger. Air is moved past the hydronic-to-air heat exchanger, the air having fresh air supply and stale air exhaust. Sensors located throughout the conditioned space send data to a controller. User input to the controller sets the desired set point temperature and humidity. Based upon the set point temperature and humidity and sensor data, the controller sends signals to various devices to manipulate the flow of the fluid and the air in order to achieve the desired set point temperature and humidity in the conditioned space. The temperature of the fluid is kept less than the dew point at the hydronic-to-air heat exchanger and the temperature of the fluid is kept greater than the dew point at the thermally conductive structure.
Abstract: A concrete form system includes a concrete form and a rebar tree. The concrete form includes at least one support column disposed at a lower portion of the concrete form and first and second connection branches disposed at an upper portion or the concrete form. The first and second connection branches are configured to be connected to second and first connection branches, respectively, of another concrete form. The first and second connection branches at least partially form one or more channels therebetween. The rebar tree includes a rebar mounting assembly configured to hold one or more pieces of rebar in one or more desired positions. The rebar mounting assembly is configured to be disposed within at least one of the one or more channels at least partially formed by the first and second connection branches.
Abstract: A microneedle assembly that is capable of transdermal delivery of a drug compound, such as a vaccine, (e.g., vaccine) across a dermal barrier of a subject (e.g., human), and/or detecting the presence of an analyte in the subject is provided. The microneedle assembly comprises a plurality of microneedles arranged on a support that each contain a tip and base, one or both of which are formed from a polymer composition that includes a liquid crystalline polymer. By selectively controlling the specific components of the polymer composition, as well as their relative concentration, the resulting microneedles may exhibit a high degree of physical alignment, which can help ensure better performance during use of the microneedle assembly.
