Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for assessing the device posture of user devices requesting access to a managed resource and for determining a confidence level in the device's posture. In an example, a user device can request a managed resource. A server can receive the request and retrieve an associated access policy. The access policy can include policy attributes to use for assessing the user device's device posture. The server can calculate a device attribute score for each policy attribute. The server can also calculate a confidence score for each device attribute score that measures the confidence level in the device attribute score. Using the two scores, the server can calculate a device posture score. Access to the resource can be granted or denied based on whether the device posture score exceeds a threshold score designated in the access policy.

Abstract: A thermal interface material for forming a layer conformable between a first heat transfer surface and an opposing second heat transfer surface to provide a thermal pathway therebetween includes: a matrix material composing 10 wt. % or less of the thermal interface material; a filler dispersed in the matrix material composing at least 80 wt. % of the thermal interface material, the filler including: particles of a first material having a nominal dimension in a range from 1 micron to 100 microns, the first material composing at least 40 wt. % of the thermal interface material; and diamond particles having a nominal dimension of 1,000 nm or less, the diamond particles composing 0.5 wt. % to 5 wt. % of the thermal interface material.

Abstract: Example methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture (e.g., physical storage media) to deduplicate common devices across multiple data sources are disclosed. An example apparatus includes instructions to identify a first device in a first data source and a second device in a second data source as a possible common device, calculate at least one of a station duration metric, a time match metric or a station path metric, the station duration metric, the time match metric based times of day that the first device tuned to a second set of stations and times of day that the second device tuned to the second set of stations, determine a score based on the at least one of the station duration metric, the time match metric, or the station path metric, and determine when the first device and the second device are a common device based on the score.

An interface can then be provided that displays data associated with the displayed content and the additional content. The interface can include a first viewing window for displaying a portion of the displayed content and a second viewing window for displaying a snippet associated with the additional content.

Abstract: A design optimization method based on active learning, which involves dynamic exploration and exploitation of the design space of interest using an ensemble of machine learning algorithms. In this approach, a hybrid methodology incorporating an explorative weak learner which fits high-level information about the response surface, and an exploitative strong learner (based on committee machine) that fits finer details around promising regions identified by the weak learner, is employed. For each design iteration, an aristocratic approach is used to select a set of nominees, where points that meet a threshold merit value as predicted by the weak learner are selected to be evaluated using function evaluation. In addition to these points, the global optimum as predicted by the strong learner is also evaluated to enable rapid convergence to the actual global optimum once the most promising region has been identified by the optimizer.

Abstract: A temperature measurement system of a vehicle includes a controller, a first temperature sensor associated with a first location, and a second temperature sensor associated with a second location. The temperature measurement system is calibratable based upon a comparison of a temperature of the first location and a temperature of the second location, wherein the temperature of at least one of the first location and the second location is determined after a predetermined time from an end of operation of the vehicle.

Abstract: Methods of encoding and decoding for video data are described for encoding or decoding coefficients for a transform unit. In particular, the sign bits for the non-zero coefficients are encoded using sign bit hiding. Two or more sets of coefficients are defined for the transform unit and a sign bit may be hidden for each set, subject to satisfaction of a threshold test. The sets may correspond to coefficient groups that are otherwise used in multi-level significance map encoding and decoding.

Abstract: A method and apparatus comprising computer code configured to cause a processor or processors to obtain volumetric data of at least one three-dimensional (3D) visual content, derive a mesh from a frame of the volumetric data, the mesh including a plurality of base mesh vertices, determine a displacement of at least one vertex, that is not of the base mesh vertices, based on a series of projections from at least one of the plurality of base mesh vertices that is a neighboring one of the plurality of base mesh vertices to the at least one vertex, predicting the at least one vertex based at least on the determined displacement, and encode the volumetric data based on the predicted at least one vertex.

The entity profile may comprise a plurality of sets of activity information associated with a plurality of emails transmitted by one or more email accounts associated with the entity. A quality score corresponding to the first entity may be generated based upon the entity profile. A notification may be generated based upon the quality score. The notification may be transmitted to the first client device.

Abstract: An RF connector having an integral weather protection system for protecting the connector from water, ice, salt, debris and other foreign damage. The connector comprises a Weather Protection (WP) assembly circumscribing a connector body, which, in turn, sealably mounts to a coaxial cable. The WP assembly comprises a housing, a compliant sealing ring and a biasing element. The WP housing sealably mounts over an end of the connector body and defines an aperture at an opposite end thereof to receive the coaxial cable and facilitate axial translation of the housing relative to the connector body. The compliant sealing ring has an inwardly facing sealing surface which defines a diameter dimension. And, the biasing element is reconfigurable from an expanded to a collapsed state in response to axial displacement of the housing relative to the connector body.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described herein for improving the security of computer authentication using light communications data provided by, e.g., environmental Li-Fi light sources. A mobile device may receive light communications data from a light source, such as a Li-Fi-enabled light bulb in a physical environment of the mobile device. That light communications data may indicate a variation in a modulation of light intensity of the light source over a time period. That variation might be used to provide a time- and/or location-specific key. The mobile device may determine the key by processing the light communications data and transmit a request for content that comprises the key. Access to content may be provided to the mobile device based on the key.

Abstract: A method includes receiving interaction data that indicates, for each given interaction among multiple interactions that occurred at a client device, (i) an event type an (ii) a delay period specifying an amount of time between the given event and a previous event that occurred prior to the given event, encoding each given interaction into an encoded interaction having a standardized format that is a combination of (i) the event type and (ii) the delay period, generating an interaction signature that includes sequence of encoded interactions, processing the sequence of encoded interactions using a model trained to label sequences of user interactions as valid or invalid, including labelling, using the model, a sequence of encoded interactions as invalid, and preventing distribution of a set of content to an entity that performed the sequence of encoded interactions in response to a subsequently identified request to provide content to the entity.

Abstract: A closure for a container is provided with a top portion and a skirt depending from an outer periphery of the top portion. A generally circular rim extends downwards from the lower surface of the top portion. A liner is attached to the closure between an outer surface of the rim and an inner surface of the skirt. The liner is configured to provide a fluid tight seal for containers having varied neck dimensions and/or profiles. One or more projections extend into a space formed between the lower surface of the top portion, an inner surface of the skirt, and an outer surface of the rim, with the liner enveloping and being supported in the closure by the one or more projections.
