  • Patent number: 11355506
Abstract: A first-tier structure includes a first vertically alternating sequence of first continuous insulating layers and first continuous sacrificial material layers and a first-tier retro-stepped dielectric material portion overlying first stepped surfaces of the first vertically alternating sequence. A second vertically alternating sequence of second continuous insulating layers and second continuous sacrificial material layers is formed over the first-tier structure. A vertically alternating stack of insulating plates and dielectric material is formed over the first-tier retro-stepped dielectric material portion. Alternatively, dielectric pillar structures may be formed in lieu of the vertically alternating stack. After formation of memory stack structures, electrically conductive layers replace portions of the first and second continuous sacrificial material layers.

  • Patent number: 11355062
Abstract: In general, the subject matter described in this disclosure can be embodied in methods, systems, and program products for modifying usage of display device pixels. A computing system monitors usage of a plurality of pixels of a display device and determines a target usage level. The computing system identifies that a usage level of a first pixel does not satisfy the target usage level and selects an occasion at which to present the first pixel in a frame to be presented by the display device with an increased intensity with respect to an original intensity that was specified for the first pixel by the frame. The computing system activates the first pixel at the increased intensity during presentation by the display device of the frame.

  • Patent number: 11353865
Abstract: Mines and construction sites are pnme applications for automation. The invention is composed of a protocol that allows multiple machines to be coordinated from a single application. The invention provides what in classical control is called a coordination layer between the machines (4D-RCS). This coordination layer is currently provided by humans as machines only interact with each other in the physical world, but there is no infrastructure to have them coordinated from an autonomous control standpoint.

  • Patent number: 11356006
Abstract: An electric machine includes a machine rotor circumscribed by a machine stator, and having a rotor shaft, rotor stack, and end cap which rotate about an axis. The end cap includes lobes equal in number to a number of pole pairs of the machine rotor. A position sensor assembly has a predetermined alignment with the machine rotor and stator. The sensor assembly includes a sensor rotor formed by the lobes and a sensor stator having a printed circuit board with conductive sine and cosine traces. Machine rotor rotation causes the sensor assembly to output an unmodulated sine and cosine signals to a controller, which then calculates a calibrated reference angle. A magnetic axis of an electrical phase of the machine is aligned with and bisects a peak of the sine trace. A direct axis of the machine rotor aligns with an edge of a lobe.

  • Patent number: 11356438
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing identification of secrets as one-way secrets in a computing environment. In particular, a secret isolation manager of an access management in the computing environment can identify an entity as an owner of secrets in a secret storage structure. In operation, the secret isolation manager, can receive a request, associated with a requesting entity, to access a secret associated with an approving entity. The request can be for an application of the requesting entity to access a secret of the approving entity. The secret isolation manager accesses the secret storage structure that stores affinity identifiers, where an affinity identifier indicates that the requesting entity has a one-way affinity with the approving entity that owns the secret. The one-way affinity operates to allow the approving entity to share the secret with the requesting entity, so the requesting entity is granted access to the secret.

  • Patent number: 11354796
Abstract: A method of identifying and retrieving component digital images for component fault analysis includes generating a known-fault database of digital images of known faults of a previously analyzed component and corresponding remedial actions. The method also includes accessing the known-fault database with a digital image of a current fault of a new component. The method additionally includes comparing the digital image of the current fault with the digital images in the known-fault database based on a computed target characteristic. The method also includes sorting the digital images in the known-fault database in order based on a magnitude of the computed target characteristic for each respective digital image in the known-fault database relative to the digital image of the current fault. The method further includes outputting the sorted digital images to facilitate correlation of the current fault to a particular known fault and identifying the corresponding remedial action.

  • Patent number: 11351087
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for monitoring the content of a chamber of a container via electrical capacitive tomography (ECT) or acoustic imaging are presented. The three-dimensional volume of the chamber and its content are imaged by developing a map of permittivity or acoustic impedance by (1) applying a stimulus signal between each of a plurality of electrode pairs of a plurality of electrodes that is arranged about the chamber and (2), for each stimulus signal applied, measuring a response signal at each of the remaining electrodes of the plurality. Once the map of permittivity or acoustic impedance is established, the number and type of tablets (or liquid) within the chamber is determined.

  • Patent number: 11354358
Abstract: A system and method for organizing and retrieving conditioned data is disclosed. The data retrieval application includes a criteria determination engine, an optimization engine and a retrieval engine. The criteria determination engine determines criteria set for a list of data elements. The optimization engine organizes the list of data elements into a directed acyclic graph embodying a skip list data structure and optimizes the constructed directed acyclic graph. The retrieval engine receives a query, determines the features of the query, queries the directed acyclic graph using the features and retrieves a node representing a user interface data based on the criteria set matching the features.

  • Patent number: 11351709
Abstract: Techniques are described for injection molding. When material inside a cavity of a tool is solidified into a molded part, the tool imparts a finished surface onto the part, including sidewalls with a zero or low-draft angle. To allow separation from the cavity without using sleeves or sliders, the cavity is widened, just prior to the part being ejected. The tool is made from metal with a high coefficient of thermal expansion, so the size of the cavity can be manipulated using temperature control. Heat applied to an outer portion of the metal surrounding the cavity pulls the metal away from the part creating an air gap within the cavity. Carefully applied cooling to an inner portion of the metal blocks the heat and keeps the surface temperature under control, which preserves the finished surface on the part. When the air gap allows, the part releases from the cavity with the finished surface intact.
