  • Patent number: 11353912
Abstract: A joystick assembly for use with a device including a joystick surface and a first magnet having north and south magnetic poles includes a second magnet having north and south magnetic poles and a movable elongated shaft having first and second opposing ends arranged along a major axis of the shaft. The first end of the shaft is coupled to the second magnet such that movement of the shaft results in movement of the second magnet relative to the first magnet such that a line between centers of the north and south magnetic poles of the second magnet is movable relative to a line between the north and south magnetic poles of the first magnet. An attraction of the second magnet to the first magnet results in a restoring force upon the shaft, and the shaft and the second magnet are removable from the joystick surface.

  • Patent number: 11354346
Abstract: In general, metadata is stored in a data storage system. Summary data identifying one or more characteristics of each of multiple metadata objects stored in the data storage system is computed, and the summary data characterizing a given metadata object in association with the given metadata object is stored. A visual representation is generated of a diagram including nodes representing respective metadata objects and relationships among the nodes. Generating the visual representation includes superimposing a representation of a characteristic identified by the summary data characterizing a given metadata object in proximity to the node representing the given metadata object.

  • Patent number: 11354579
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are described herein that enable execution of a large AI model on a memory-constrained target device that is communicatively connected to a parameter server, which stores a master copy of the AI model. The AI model may be dissected into smaller portions (e.g., layers or sub-layers), and each portion may be executed as efficiently as possible on the target device. After execution of one portion of the AI model is finished, another portion of the AI model may be downloaded and executed at the target device. This paradigm of executing one portion of the AI model at a time allows for dynamic execution of the large AI model.

  • Patent number: 11356431
Abstract: A computing device operating system providing a plurality of secure domains. A domain manager selectively creates a plurality of secure domains, and one of the secure domains is selected as a current domain. A domain policy service stores and enforces, for each secure domain, a policy comprising a rule set controlling access to files and applications associated with the domain. A package manager enforces, for each secure domain, installation of the applications associated with the domain. A domain message service provides communication between running processes associated with different ones of the secure domains. An activity manager selectively switches the current domain. Domain isolation is achieved while enabling a unified user interface providing concurrent access to the resources of multiple domains.
