Abstract: In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a signal distribution assembly configured to conduct signals in a semiconductor device module, the signal distribution assembly including: a metal layer, the metal layer having: a first side, the first side being planar; and a second side opposite the first side, the second side being non-planar and including: a base portion; a first post extending from the base portion; and a second post extending from the base portion. The metal layer can be pre-molded using a molding compound disposed on the second side of the metal later, with respective surfaces of the first post and the second posted exposed through the molding compound, and or the metal layer can be coupled with a thermally conductive insulator (e.g., ceramic) layer.
Abstract: Systems and methods for improving network element security. The methods comprise: obtaining a transport frame by the network element; analyzing, by the network element, the transport frame to determine whether or not any vulnerable overhead field values in at least one of a header of a mapping layer frame and a header of a transport layer frame have values other than expected values; modifying, by the network element, at least one reserved target field value in the transport frame when a determination is made that the at least one vulnerable overhead field value has a value other than the expected value; and communicating, by the network element, the transport frame with the modified at least one reserved target value over a network.
Abstract: Techniques for detecting an anomaly in a PON include generating an optical profile for the PON based on characteristics of network light level signals, collected over a first time period, delivered over the PON, and generating an optical profile for a customer based on characteristics of customer light level signals, collected over the first time period, delivered over the PON to or from an ONT for the customer. The techniques also include obtaining customer light level signals collected over a second time period, and detecting an anomaly in the PON for the customer in response to determining that the customer light level signals collected over the second time period deviate from the optical profile for the customer or the optical profile for the PON by more than a threshold amount.
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for optimizing hemodynamics within a patient's heart, e.g., to improve the patient's exercise capacity. In one embodiment, a system is configured to be implanted in a patient's body to monitor and/or treat the patient that includes at least one sensor configured to provide sensor data that corresponds to a blood pressure within or near the patient's heart; at least one adjustable component designed to cause blood to flow in a direction opposite to the normal direction (regurgitation) within the patient's heart; and a controller configured for adjusting the function of the at least one adjustable component based at least in part on sensor data from the at least one sensor.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for interacting with at least one data item obtained from at least one source utilizes computer processes responsive to a user selection of the at least one data item and include causing configuring of each of the data items into a distinct information object by extracting, from each data item, extracted data including a picture, a heading, and a link to the data item, and causing storing of data corresponding to each of the information objects in a database system. The processes further include displaying a representation of each of at least two of the information objects in the database system, the representation being in a uniform format, wherein the format includes a card, and, within the card, in uniform locations thereof, the picture, the heading, a set of indicators, and a set of graphically accessible functions.

Abstract: A holster includes a system for providing an audio and/or a visual notification differentiating a lethal weapon from a less lethal weapon when one of these weapons is removed from its holster. The holster includes a sensor for detecting the presence of a weapon therein as well as removal of the weapon. Upon receiving a signal from the sensor indicating drawing of the weapon, a microcontroller actuates a speaker and/or a visual display to indicate the type of weapon which was drawn. Others are made aware of the type of weapon being drawn or which is currently deployed. The wearer of the holster is also made aware of a mistake if the incorrect type of weapon is drawn.

Abstract: A computing device generates and displays a data visualization in a data visualization user interface. The data visualization includes a plurality of visual data marks representing data from a data source. The computing device detects a first user input to select a visual data mark of the plurality of visual data marks. In response to detecting the first user input, the computing device identifies a first aggregated data value, for the visual data mark, corresponding to a first data field in the data source. The computing device retrieves a first disaggregated set of data rows corresponding to the first aggregated data value, from a first table, in the data source, containing the first data field. The computing device displays, in the data visualization user interface, a plurality of data rows from the first disaggregated set of data rows.
