  • Patent number: 12191640
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for facilitating installation of cables within datacenters without signals being sent/received from outside the datacenter buildings. In particular, the mechanism for facilitating installation of cables within datacenters may include scanning cable codes (e.g., QR codes, bar codes, near field communication (NFC) codes, radio frequency identification (RFID) codes, etc.) and retrieving path information for scanned cable codes. The mechanism then proceeds to track the installation process by scanning codes located throughout a datacenter to verify that the cable installation is proceeding correctly. In instances where a scanned code does not match a code that is expected, based on an order within the path information, an error message is generated indicating that there may be a problem with the cable installation.

  • Patent number: 12191660
Abstract: Implementations are directed to aspect(s) of a fast feedback control system that actively stabilizes a geographically dispersed power grid by e.g., providing capabilities to match supply and demand at a high update rate. Implementations enable fast measurements of properties of the power grid and fast control parameter(s) back to controllable resource(s) in the power grid, such as control parameter(s) back to battery storage units, solar generation curtailment, wind generation curtailment, EV charging systems, and/or HVAC systems. In various implementations, the fast measurements and/or the fast control parameters can continuously occur at an update rate that is faster than once per second, such as at an update rate greater than 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 Hz. For example, measurements from a controllable resource can be transmitted to a geographically remote parent controller at 60 Hz and responsive control parameters can be received at the controllable resource at 60 Hz.

Abstract: This document describes techniques for expanding user groups while preserving user privacy and data security. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, by a content platform and from a client device of a user, a request for a digital component that also includes a user identifier. A determination is made that the user identifier is included in a user list that includes multiple user identifiers respectively corresponding to multiple users in a user action group. In response to determining that the unique identifier is included in the user list, a digital component of the entity for which the user list is generated is selected and provided to the client device of the user for display to the user of the client device.

Abstract: Computing devices, touchpads, and related methods for adjusting a force threshold for touch input on a touchpad are disclosed. In one example, a computing device comprises a force sensing touchpad, a processor, and a memory storing instructions executable by the processor to receive a first contact on the touchpad. An area of touch of the first contact is determined, and an adjusted force threshold for touch input is determined based at least on the area of the touch. A second contact is received on the touchpad, and a touch force of the second contact is determined. Based at least on determining that the touch force exceeds the adjusted force threshold, a touch input on the touchpad is registered.

  • Patent number: 12187505
Abstract: An apparatus and method utilizes a forming machine which includes a mandrel and forming plate each shaped to conform the paperboard and/or corrugated material blank passing through the mandrel into the desired configuration for a leak-proof tray. The blank includes a layer of a suitable paperboard and/or corrugated material, and a layer of leak-proof plastic or paper material disposed over one side of the corrugated material. The corrugated material includes cutouts at each corner of the blank that enable the sides and ends of the blank to be folded relative to one another. The paper material continuously overlaps the surface of the corrugated layer and these cutouts to provide a continuous leak-proof barrier layer within the formed tray and at the corners of the blank when folded to form the tray, as the paper material is folded over itself to form a bellows corner in the tray.

  • Patent number: 12188418
Abstract: A system for controlling a turbine is disclosed. The system includes a turbine control fuel governor that has a plurality of VCPIDs operating in parallel with one another. Each VCPID is associated with a respective turbine parameter and one or more external parameters. Each VCPID incorporates feedback from the parallel operating VCPIDs to feed an integral term of a current VCPID in the following manner: a previous derivative gain and a previous proportional gain are summed and subtracted from a selected output for the turbine to yield a result, and the result is input to an integral gain portion of the current VCPID.

  • Patent number: 12189663
Abstract: A method visualizes object models for data sources. The device displays, in an object model visualization region, a first visualization of a tree of data object icons, each data object icon representing a logical combination of one or more tables. The device also displays recommendations for one or more data sources to add objects to the tree. While displaying the first visualization in the object model visualization region, the device detects a first input on a first data object icon of the tree of data object icons. In response to detecting the first input on the first data object icon, the device displays a second visualization of the tree of the data object icons in a first portion of the object model visualization region and displays a third visualization of information related to the first data object icon in a second portion of the object model visualization region.

  • Patent number: 12192160
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable improved content filtering by determining a profile state of the user profile based at least in part on at least one attribute of the user profile and determining a user profile criterion associated with the user profile based on the profile state including a threshold value to trigger a filter parameter associated with the profile objective, where the filter parameter comprises a content type to be processed so as to facilitate achieving the profile objective. The filter parameter is determined based on the profile state surpassing the user profile criterion. A content recognition model is used to identify a message content of each message. An electronic message that matches the content type is identified and filtered at the electronic messaging client to prevent the content from being presented.
