Abstract: Techniques manage a cache. Such techniques involve creating a primary cache by a cache management module in a storage system. Such techniques further involve: in response to the primary cache being created, sending a first request to a hardware management module to obtain first information about a first virtual disk. Such techniques further involve: in response to receiving the first information from the hardware management module, creating a secondary cache using the first virtual disk. Such techniques further involve: in response to an available capacity of the primary cache being below a predetermined threshold, flushing at least one cache page in the primary cache to the secondary cache. In certain techniques, it is possible to use spare extents in the disk array to create the secondary cache to increase a total capacity of the cache in the system, thereby improving the access performance of the system.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for voice-based call operations are provided. In some embodiments, a method comprises: receiving, at a first user device, a communication; detecting a voice command, using the first user device, that includes a keyword; and in response to detecting the voice command, causing the communication to be transferred to a second user device that is associated with the keyword.
Abstract: Input context for a statistical dialog manager may be provided. Upon receiving a spoken query from a user, the query may be categorized according to at least one context clue. The spoken query may then be converted to text according to a statistical dialog manager associated with the category of the query and a response to the spoken query may be provided to the user.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for storing incomplete dialog sessions between a user and an automated assistant in order that the dialog sessions can be completed in furtherance of certain actions. While interacting with an automated assistant, a user can become distracted and not complete the interaction to the point of the automated assistant performing some action. In response, the automated assistant can store the interaction as a dialog session. Subsequently, the user may express interest, directly or indirectly, in completing the dialog session, and the automated assistant can provide the user with a selectable element that, when selected, causes the dialog session to be reopened. The user can then continue the dialog session with the automated assistant in order that the originally intended action can be performed by the automated assistant.

Abstract: A dental appliance apparatus is disclosed herein. In various aspects, the dental appliance may include a body removably attachable to one or more teeth selected from premolars and molars, and a flange extending forth from lingual portions of the body to contact a tongue at one or more locations proximate the premolars and the molars in order to cause a contraction of the genioglossus that positions the tongue anteriorly and downward toward the mandible by stimulation of the hypoglossal nerve. The dental appliance may include a connector connected to the body, and the connector may pass about buccal-labial sides of the anterior teeth. A bumper may be included on a labial side of the connector, and the bumper may contact the lips to promote pursed lips breathing. An anterior flange may extend lingually from the connector to stimulate the hypoglossal nerve proximate a tip of the tongue in order to cause contraction of the genioglossus to position the tongue anteriorly and downward toward the mandible.
Abstract: An efficient, cost-effective, and efficacious technique for removing coal ash and other pollutants from waterways, ponds, marshes, holding tanks and other water sources and supplies. An apparatus comprising an open cage including electromagnets and/or permanent magnets and/or electrodes is supplied with electrical power to extract materials such as rare earth elements and/or heavy metals. The materials levitate to the surface, forming a shiny while leaving water substantially free of such materials.
Abstract: A system and method herein relate to vehicle control by adjusting a torque distribution of the vehicle. The system includes a first motor configured to provide a torque to a first wheel, and a delivery system configured to controllably apply a traction control compound to a route on which the first wheel is configured to travel. The system also includes a controller circuit having one or more processors. The controller circuit is configured to control the delivery system to apply the traction control compound to the route based on a monitored temperature of the first motor.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for requesting an updated location, including a point of interest, from a user for display on an interactive map. On receiving from an interested user a request for a point of interest associated with a subscribed user's current location, a request is transmitted to the subscribed user to check-in to the point of interest. In response to the request, the subscribed user selects a selected point of interest from a selection list. A representation of the subscribed user and the selected point of interest is then provided for display on an interactive map associated with the interested user.
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for diagnosis of oil dilution in an engine. In one example, a method may include sealing a crankcase and spinning an engine unfueled to heat and vaporize the oil in response to detection of rich engine operation. Pressure measurements at the sealed crankcase may be collected and compared to a baseline to diagnose a presence of fuel in the oil.
