  • Patent number: 12189384
Abstract: Well completion design data for completing plural stages of a well completion operation is accessed. Predicted component life intervals for each of a plurality of components of a frac fleet are accessed. Remaining component life intervals for each of the plurality of components of the frac fleet are determined based on the predicted component life intervals. A continuous completion event for the well completion operation is set based on the remaining component life intervals for each of the plurality of components. The continuous completion event includes a continuous pumping block identifying one or more contiguous stages from among the plurality of stages during which the well completion operation is performed with the frac fleet, and a maintenance block identifying one or more of the plurality of frac pumps to be subject to predetermined maintenance operations upon completion of the one or more contiguous stages of the continuous pumping block.

  • Patent number: 12188222
Abstract: Modular building methods and systems using precision machined modular panels. Standard modular panels are used for constructing walls, floor, and roof, with transitions from wall to roof and wall to floor provided by special transition panels. The standard panels include a channel formed configured to receive a flange of a C-channel member. The present method progresses by installation of a foam panel (or stack or row of such panels), followed by installation of a C-channel member, with the flange of such member engaged in the panels, followed by installation of an adjacent row or stack of panels, before installation of the next, adjacent C-channel member. Such alternating placement of panels and frame members eliminates the need for a tape measure, the need for any independent frame for the building, and ensures the walls, floor, and roof are square and plumb, as the precision machined panels ensure these requirements are met.

  • Patent number: 12190221
Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to generating training data, such that each instance of training data includes a corresponding instance of vision data and drivability label(s) for the instance of vision data. A drivability label can be determined using first vision data from a first vision component that is connected to the robot. The drivability label(s) can be generated by processing the first vision data using geometric and/or heuristic methods. Second vision data can be generated using a second vision component of the robot, such as a camera that is connected to the robot. The drivability labels can be correlated to the second vision data and thereafter used to train one or more machine learning models. The trained models can be shared with a robot(s) in furtherance of enabling the robot(s) to determine drivability of areas captured in vision data, which is being collected in real-time using one or more vision components.

  • Patent number: 12186678
Abstract: A ride system includes a tunnel, a vehicle ride path, a ride vehicle, and a projection system. The tunnel includes a first end and a second end and is curved between the first and second ends. The vehicle ride path extends within the tunnel from an entrance at the first end of the tunnel to an intermediate position within the tunnel. The second end of the tunnel is not visible from the intermediate position. The ride vehicle travels along the vehicle ride path and decelerates as the ride vehicle approaches the intermediate position. The projection system projects images onto one or more walls of the tunnel, such that the images are synchronized with the deceleration of the ride vehicle and a perceived speed of the ride vehicle, as perceived by a guest in the ride vehicle, exceeds an actual speed of the ride vehicle.

Abstract: Disclosed is a segregating gas arrangement that generally comprises a gas segregation chamber, at least one cooling plate in the gas segregation chamber, and a carbon adsorber in an adsorption gas capturing chamber. The gas segregation chamber has a rim that when resting atop regolith defines a first interior environment. The cooling plates are in the gas segregation chamber, wherein the cooling plates are maintained at a first temperature above 5° K, which is a condensation temperature that higher temperature condensing gases will condense. The adsorption gas capturing chamber defines a second interior environment that is in communication with the first interior environment. The carbon adsorber is in the second interior environment and is maintained at a second temperature below 3° K. The carbon adsorber is configured to capture the low temperature condensing gas.

  • Patent number: 12188181
Abstract: Processes disclosed are capable of converting biomass into high-crystallinity nanocellulose with low mechanical energy input. In some variations, the process includes fractionating biomass with sulfur dioxide or a sulfite compound and water, to generate cellulose-rich solids and a liquid containing hemicellulose and lignin; and mechanically treating the cellulose-rich solids to form nanofibrils and/or nanocrystals. The total mechanical energy may be less than 500 kilowatt-hours per ton. The crystallinity of the nanocellulose material may be 80% or higher, translating into good reinforcing properties for composites. The nanocellulose material may include nanofibrillated cellulose, nanocrystalline cellulose, or both. In some embodiments, the nanocellulose material is hydrophobic via deposition of some lignin onto the cellulose surface. Optionally, sugars derived from amorphous cellulose and hemicellulose may be separately fermented, such as to monomers for various polymers.
