Abstract: Certain exemplary embodiments relate to entertainment systems and, more particularly, to systems that incorporate digital downloading jukebox features and improved user interfaces. For instance, a smart search may be provided, e.g., where search results vary based on the popularity of songs within the venue, in dependence on songs being promoted, etc. As another example, a tile-based approach to organizing groupings of songs is provided. Groupings may involve self-populating collections of songs that combine centrally-promoted songs, songs in a given genre that are popular across an audiovisual distribution network, and songs that are locally popular and match up with the given genre (e.g., because of shared attributes such as same or similar genre, artist, etc.). Different tile visual presentations also are contemplated, as are different physical jukebox designs. In certain example embodiments, a sealed core unit with the “brains” of the jukebox is insertable into a docking station.

Abstract: In some embodiments, text for user consumption may be generated based on an intended user action category and a user profile. In some embodiments, an action category, a plurality of text seeds, and a profile comprising feature values may be obtained. Context values may be generated based on the feature values, and text generation models may be obtained based on the text seeds. In some embodiments, messages may be generated using the text generation models based on the action category and the context values. Weights associated with the messages may be determined, and a first text message of the messages may be sent to an address associated with the profile based on the weights. Based on a reaction value obtained in response to the first message, a first expected allocation value may be updated based on the reaction value.

Abstract: A method of forming a variable refractive index thin film includes forming a coating including a tin (II) halide precursor and a liquid solvent, where the composition and/or concentration of the liquid solvent may vary spatially over one or more lateral dimension(s) of the coating. Annealing at elevated temperature may induce densification of the coating and the formation of a thin film having a variable refractive index. Local variability in the refractive index may be correlated to the location oxidation state of tin within the thin film, which may be related to the conformation of the liquid solvent.

Abstract: Methods and systems for manual-based image review can involve associating an image with a group of keyword utterances, the image displayable in a display screen of a computing device, the group of keyword utterances including different keyword utterances. A prompt for the user to utter a keyword utterance can be displayed in a first area of the image in the display screen and another prompt for the user to utter another keyword utterance can be displayed in another area of the image in the display screen. Audio of the keyword utterances displayed in the display screen can be captured and processed by natural language processing (NLP), when uttered by the user. The utterances can be displayed respectively as text in the first area and the other area of the image in response to processing by NLP of the audio. Thus, instead of users typing in the results and changing their focus between screen and keyboard, for example, the user can speak to the results, which increases the throughput of the results.

The vacuum cleaner may include an air inlet, a suction motor having a suction motor inlet and a suction motor outlet, and a cleaner dust cup configured to transition between a collection position and an emptying position, the cleaner dust cup being upstream of the suction motor inlet when in the collection position and downstream of the suction motor outlet when in the emptying position. The docking station may include a base, a support extending from the base, a station dust cup removably coupled to the support, and a receptacle coupled to the support and configured to receive at least a portion of the vacuum cleaner, the cleaner dust cup being fluidly coupled to and upstream of the station dust cup when the vacuum cleaner is inserted in the receptacle.

A hitch plate is included having a ball mount portion and an indexing portion. The method includes obtaining a data access request from a requestor for client data redundantly stored in at least two storage providers that are unknown to the requestor; identifying a service level objective for servicing the data access request; ranking the at least two storage providers based on the service level objective to identify one of the at least two storage providers to service the data access request; and providing the requestor with access to a copy of the client data using the one of the at least two storage providers.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are described for capturing panoramic images and positioning virtual objects on a device screen, using a device having a static camera and an adjustable camera. To generate a panoramic image, the device moves the field of view of the adjustable camera by moving a corresponding MEMS mirror. The device then captures a first image using the static camera, and a second image using the adjustable camera, and generates a panoramic image by combining the first and second images. To position a virtual object, the device captures a first image using the static camera, and determines that there are insufficient visual features in the first image for positioning. The device moves the field of view of the adjustable camera by moving the corresponding MEMS mirror, and captures a second image. Visual features from the second image are then used to position the virtual object.

Abstract: A method for enhanced transducer fault detection including receiving data characterizing an electrical signal generated by a transducer, and determining that the received data is outside of a predetermined operational range of the transducer. The method can also include determining a period of time that the received data remains outside of the operational range, and comparing the period of time to a predetermined fault time delay. The method can also include determining that the period of time that the data remains outside of the operational range is greater than or equal to the predetermined fault time delay, and determining that the data is invalid, responsive to determining that the period of time is greater than or equal to the predetermined fault time delay. The method can also include determining a fault case from a plurality of fault cases based on the invalid received data, and providing the determined fault case.

The first electronic device enables a cross-view mode. Abstract: Embodiments are provided for managing routes of data traffic within a network. The management may be performed via a graphical user interface that interacts with a Web server to update a configuration file. The configuration file can be converted to router management commands by a network management device (e.g., a BGP speaker). The commands can then be sent to border routers for controlling network traffic. Embodiments are also provided for capturing and logging routing updates made in a network.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide novel, low-cost fermentation systems and methods of their use. More specifically, the present invention provides biological reactor systems for fermenting a wide variety of, for example, bio level 1 microorganisms with very high cell densities. The reactor systems can be used to grow yeast, fungi and bacteria, as well as growth by-products thereof. In specific embodiments, the reactor systems are used to produce yeast-based compositions. In certain specific embodiments, the reactor systems can be used for the production of Starmerella bombicola yeast compositions.

Abstract: A system for supplying electric power includes: a plurality of electric motors coupled to well treatment pumps; a mobile substation that receives power from a utility electric grid; a plurality of mobile electric power generating units; a controller configured to (i) receive a total required flow rate of the liquid; (ii) calculate a total amount of electric power required to achieve the required total flow rate; (iii) receive an amount of power available from the utility electric grid; (iv) direct the substation to provide electric power to the plurality of electric motors; and (v), direct one or more electric power generating units in the plurality of electric power generating units to provide electric power to the plurality of electric motors according to a priority order to meet the total amount of electric power, if the required amount of electric power exceeds the amount of power available from the utility grid.
