Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to the construction of handgrips and the method of assembly onto a handlebar. In one disclosed embodiment, the handgrip comprises a substrate configured to receive a clamp, and a guard configured to protect the clamp. Further, the handgrip comprises an overmold grip configured to conceal the clamp and guard and also receive the hand of an operator or user. The clamp is engaged onto the handlebar and acts as a coupling mechanism so that the handgrip is more easily removable from handlebar. Among other things, the present disclosure solves problems related to manufacturing and assembly.

Abstract: A system for inroute throttling in a satellite network is disclosed. The system includes an IP Gateway (IPGW) that may compute a volume usage count of inroute traffic associated with a terminal, compare the computed volume usage count of inroute traffic with a first threshold, and transmit, based on the comparison, a Fair Access Policy (FAP) state to the terminal. The FAP state corresponds to one of a throttled and an unthrottled. The system further includes an Inroute Group Manager (IGM) that may receive, from the terminal, the FAP state and apply a FAP, on the inroute traffic from the terminal, corresponding to the received FAP state.
Abstract: Methods, systems, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium for providing advanced scheduling for downlink frequency division duplex (FDD) resources when sounding reference signal (SRS) transmitter switching is in progress are provided. Initially, the node receives an indication that the user equipment (UE) is sharing at least one antenna between FDD and time division duplex (TDD). The node determines the SRS periodicity for the UE. Based on the SRS periodicity, the node provides advance scheduling for downlink FDD resources when SRS transmitter switching is in progress for an FDD receive slot of the at least one antenna. For example, the node may provide downlink FDD resources to other UEs. Additionally or alternatively, the node may blank the corresponding FDD receive slots of the at least one antenna.
Abstract: An NFT system operates by receiving an application launch request for a game application having a game non-fungible token (NFT) associated therewith; generating, via the game application and in response to the application launch request, launch metadata; sending the launch metadata to an NFT wallet, the NFT wallet containing a private key associated with the game NFT; receiving, from the NFT wallet, a launch response that is generated based on the private key; generating, via the game application and based on the launch response, an ownership check; sending the ownership check to a blockchain system that stores the game NFT; receiving, from the blockchain system, an ownership validation response; and enabling, via the game application, play of the game when the ownership validation response indicates ownership of the game NFT is verified.

Abstract: A fluid-cooled power module is disclosed for cooling high power semiconductor devices. Semiconductor dies supported by a direct-bonded metal structure are attached to a cooling unit that circulates coolant from an inner chamber, through spray jets, to an outer chamber, so that coolant impinges onto a metal surface in thermal contact with the direct-bonded metal structure. Use of the cooling fluid provides more efficient and cost effective cooling than relying on a solid metal heat sink. The disclosed fluid-cooled power modules can reduce the cost and weight of heat dissipation for compatibility with aerospace applications.
Abstract: A current monitoring circuit for a TDD power amplifier in a communication system is provided. The current monitoring circuit includes a voltage measurement circuit and a stabilizer circuit. The voltage measurement circuit is configured to generate current equivalent voltage output signals associated with the TDD power amplifier. The stabilizer circuit has an output that is coupled to an analog-to-digital converter. The stabilizer circuit includes a switch, a first resistor, a capacitor and a first voltage supply. The switch includes a first post that is coupled to an output of the voltage measurement circuit. The first resistor has a first side coupled to a second post of the switch. The capacitor coupled in series with the first resistor. The capacitor is further coupled to ground. The first voltage supply is coupled to control the switch based on operations of a TDD power amplifier.
Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a vehicle seat having a seatback. An airbag is inflatable from an uninflated position to an inflated position. A linear actuator is fixed to the seatback and the airbag. The airbag is moveable by the linear actuator from an undeployed position upwardly away from the seatback to a deployed position. The linear actuator supports the airbag on the seatback in the uninflated position and in the inflated position.

Abstract: Systems and methods relating to full motion video (FMV) routing in one-way transfer (OWT) systems are described herein. The present technology modifies or adds packetized elementary streams (PESs) of video streams, that are sent from the low-trust side of the OWT system, with a global unique identifier (GUID) that is used as an identifier to determine a particular destination on the high-trust side of the OWT system. The enriched video stream is then transmitted through an OWT system that provide high reliability for the enriched video stream. When the enriched video stream is received on the high-trust side, the GUID from the PES is extracted and used to identify destination addresses for destination devices in the high-trust computing environment. The video stream is then delivered to the destination devices having the corresponding destination addresses.

Abstract: A prosthetic knee unit useful with a prosthetic leg. The prosthetic knee unit includes a linkage assembly, at least one motor module, and a controller. The linkage assembly includes a base, a driven shaft at least one link, and an output body. The motor module is operably connected to the driven shaft. The controller is programmed to prompt operation of the at least one motor module. Operation of the at least one motor module, as prompted by the controller, articulates the output body relative to the base via pivoting movement of the at least one link. In some embodiments, the prosthetic knee unit further includes at least one sensor, such as an IMU worn by the user. With these and related embodiments, the controller is programmed to receive sensed information from the sensor and to control operation of the at least one motor module based upon the sensed information.
