  • Patent number: 11233794
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing escorted-access management based on an escort-admin session engine are provided. The escort-admin session engine approves an external administrator's access to a resource instance based on a service team policy, while approving an escort operator to escort the external administrator in an escort-admin session that provides access to the resource. In operation, an external administrator's request for access to a resource is evaluated based on the service team policy that is managed by a service team. The request is approved with access rights to the resource identified in the policy. An escort operator is identified for the external administrator. The escort operator is approved to escort the external administrator for access to the resource during an escort-admin session. The escort-admin session includes an escort operator context referring to the escort operator having access rights based on the access rights approved using the policy.

  • Patent number: 11232716
Abstract: An apparatus for coaching improvements for a performer during a performance activity based on observed actual performance in comparison to a possible performance, with sensors measuring performance criteria. A microprocessor computer creates respective pseudo-measurements relevant to the performance activity based on the measurements, which are normalized and evaluated as to proximity to a possible performance value. A display presents the measured actual performance in relation to the possible performance, so the performer may change actions and observe on the display the effect of the change. A method of coaching performer during a performance activity is disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11230042
Abstract: A system and process for injection molding polymer articles is described. The system and process are designed to reduce gate blush. In one embodiment, an injection molding device injects a molten polymer composition into a runner that extends from an injection point to a gate. The gate is positioned adjacent to an opening leading into a mold cavity. In accordance with the present disclosure, the system includes one or more overflow passages that divert flow of the polymer composition so as to temporarily reduce the flow rate and pressure of the polymer composition entering the mold.

  • Patent number: 11231517
Abstract: A method for geosteering while drilling a well in a subterranean formation using a downhole assembly having a toolface comprises measuring at least one motion-related downhole parameter relative to the toolface angle so as to generate azimuthally-associated data, using the azimuthally-associated data to assess formation anisotropy, and using the anisotropy assessment to manually or automatically steer a well while drilling the well. The motion-related downhole parameter may relate to motion of an asymmetric bit or bent housing or bent housing section.

  • Patent number: 11232707
Abstract: Controlling traffic signal preemption includes inputting to a conditional preemption circuit, values of incident parameters that include at least a vehicle unit identifier of a vehicle unit and an incident priority that describes an incident. The conditional preemption circuit determines a vehicle class based on one or more of the plurality of incident parameters. In response to a preemption request communicated from the vehicle unit, the conditional preemption circuit determines whether or not the vehicle unit qualifies for preemption at one or more intersections based at least on the vehicle class, location of the vehicle, and heading of the vehicle unit specified in the preemption request. Phase selection signals are communicated to traffic signal control circuitry at the one or more intersections in response to determining that the vehicle unit qualifies for preemption at the one or more intersections.
