Abstract: A method of partitioning a video coding block for JVET, comprising representing a JVET coding tree unit as a root node in a quadtree plus binary tree (QTBT) structure that can have a quadtree branching from the root node and binary trees branching from each of the quadtree's leaf nodes using asymmetric binary partitioning to split a coding unit represented by a quadtree leaf node into two child coding units of unequal size, representing the two child coding units as leaf nodes in a binary tree branching from the quadtree leaf node and coding the child coding units represented by leaf nodes of the binary tree with JVET, wherein further partitioning of child coding units split from quadtree leaf nodes via asymmetric binary partitioning is disallowed.

Abstract: A domer station having a domer assembly, a housing assembly, and a stacked piston assembly is provided. The domer assembly is movably disposed within a domer body passage located in the housing assembly and structured to move between a forward, first position and a retracted, second position. The stacked piston assembly includes a plurality of pistons, preferably three pistons, disposed in series and a pressure supply. The pistons are disposed behind the domer in pressure chambers. The pistons have a constant pressure applied thereto and are biased towards the domer. The pistons are, however, each restrained by a stop and do not contact, or operatively engage, the domer when the domer is in the domer first position.

Abstract: A wireless device transmits, via a first uplink bandwidth part (BWP), a first preamble for a random-access procedure. A determination is made of a second uplink BWP for transmission of a second preamble for the random-access procedure. The determination is based on not receiving, via a first downlink BWP associated with the first uplink BWP, a random-access response corresponding to the first preamble. Based on the determination of the second uplink BWP, the first downlink BWP is switched to a second downlink BWP associated with the second uplink BWP. The second preamble is transmitted via the second uplink BWP.

Abstract: A drag reduction device for improving drag efficiency on a land vehicle includes one or more drag reduction devices that are coupled to an exterior portion or contained internally within the vehicle. The drag reduction devices include one or more fan assemblies each contained within a respective housing. The fan assemblies all include, in general, cross-flow fans and air foils that are configured to adjust the movement of air over and around the trailer unit as the land vehicle is being driven along a surface during normal use, and thus provide reduced resistance from air friction and pressure friction and contribute significantly to reduced fuel or other energy consumption as the land vehicle is being driven along a surface during normal use. The fan blades and air foils can be plasma-controlled.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for determining authoritative documents based on implicit interlinking and communication signals. In aspects, a search operation may be initiated from one or more applications or services. The search operation may be processed to identify search information, such as one or more content items, content topics, or entities. The identified search information may be used to search one or more data sources for implicit relationships between the search information and content items and/or entities stored by the data sources. The results of the search may be collected and ranked according to one or more criteria. The ranked results may be provided in response to the search operation.

Also disclosed herein are methods of controlling undesirable vegetation, comprising applying to vegetation or an area adjacent the vegetation or applying in soil or water to control the emergence or growth of vegetation (a) a pyridine carboxylate herbicide or an agriculturally acceptable N-oxide, salt or ester thereof and (b) a quinolinoxyacetate safener or agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof.

Abstract: A power management system for selectively providing power to one or more electrical loads using a standby generator includes a meter mounted transfer switch, a power management module, and a controller. The meter mounted transfer switch is configured to receive electrical power from a utility source. The power management module is configured to receive electrical power from each of the standby generator and the utility source. The controller is in communication with the standby generator and the power management module, and monitors a load on the standby generator and communicates to the power management module to selectively disconnect at least one of the one or more electrical loads based on the monitored load.

Abstract: A computerized mapping system is provided, including a map server configured to, in a map serving phase, receive a request from a client device to view a portion of a map at least partially including a building for which an indoor map is available, at a requested level of detail that is outside a range for displaying the indoor map, and transmit a target tile with a prerendered bitmap image for the building, and a client-side renderable geometric element with a perimeter and a client-side renderable visual feature of the internal map feature of the indoor map selected according to a selection criterion set by an authorized user of the indoor map, to the client device for display.

Abstract: The present document describes a passive thermal-control structure for speakers and associated apparatuses and methods. The architecture of the passive thermal-control structure is such that heat is transferred from electronic subsystems of the electronic speaker device to the passive thermal-control structure, which acts as an internal, structural frame of the electronic speaker device and provides both thermal mitigation and structural stability. The passive thermal-control structure conducts heat from the electronic subsystems to a housing of the electronic speaker device. The housing of the electronic speaker device may dissipate the heat to the ambient environment to prevent thermal runaway of the electronic subsystems, and the internal frame mitigates the temperature of the housing from exceeding ergonomic temperature limits.

Abstract: One embodiment is directed to an open radio access network to provide wireless coverage for a plurality of cells at a site and that comprises a virtualized headend comprising one or more base-station nodes and a plurality of unified remote units deployed at the site. Each of the unified remote units is able to support multiple functional splits, multiple wireless interface protocols, multiple generations of radio access technology, and multiple frequency bands. The unified remote units and functional split used to serve each cell can be changed (for example, on-the-fly as a part of an automatic or manual adaptation process that is a function of one or more monitored performance attributes of the open radio access network such as network bandwidth, network latency, processing load, or processing performance). The unified remote units can be implemented in a modular manner with a backplane to which different radio modules can be coupled.

Abstract: An integrated memory assembly comprises a memory die and a control die bonded to the memory die. The memory die includes a memory structure of non-volatile memory cells. The control die is configured to program user data to and read user data from the memory die based on one or more operational parameters. The control die is configured to calibrate the one or more operational parameters for the memory die. The control die is also configured to perform testing of the memory die using the calibrated one or more operational parameters.

The processor may extract a plurality of content item features from the content item and receive a user request to summarize the content item. The user request may have associated contextual metadata indicating a spatiotemporal context in which the user request is received. Based on the contextual metadata, the processor may determine an estimated distraction level for the user. The processor may select a subset of the plurality of content item features based on the contextual metadata. The processor may generate a content item summary including the subset of the plurality of content item features based at least in part on the estimated distraction level. The processor may convey the content item summary for output on one or more output devices.

In one example, a top portion of a golf club head may include an alignment aid having a first plurality of strip portions and a second plurality of strip portions. Each strip portion of the first plurality of strip portions and each strip portion of the second plurality of strip portions have a quadrilateral shape with a diagonal side. The diagonal sides of the first plurality of strip portions are aligned with one another to generate a first focal axis and the diagonal sides of the second plurality of strip portions are aligned with one another to generate a second focal axis that meets with the first focal axis at a focal point. Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more messages including one or more configuration parameters of a cell. The one or more configuration parameters indicate physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resources for transmission of a message A (MsgA) payload of a two-step random-access procedure of the cell. A medium access control (MAC) layer of the wireless device is reset based on a request from a radio resource control (RRC) layer of the wireless device. The PUSCH resources are released based on the reset of the MAC layer.
