Abstract: Disclosed are methods that couple effective nesting of fabric, as part of a textile cutting process, in which designs and/or graphic elements are directly printed on the nested elements, instead of on the entire textile sheet. Embodiments of the invention can address issues of waste and redundant printing, such as by starting with a blank textile roll, and printing only in the geometry areas of the patterns. Embodiments of the invention can increase fabric yield, because there are no constraints between the pattern geometries and the textile sheet print.

Abstract: Systems enhance stand pipe alignment and security with braces docking to the stand pipes. A link connects pairs of braces so the braces and stand pipes docked thereby cannot move relative to each other when fully secured. Partially securing braces allows adjustment of the braces and distance between the same and thus stand pipe position. Fully securing the braces makes the entire system rigid without need for a tie bar. Braces and links can be installed and secured to the stand pipes and among each other at an axial position from above the stand pipes, so that overhead, simple tooling may be used. A crimp nut or other resilient connector may be used to secure the systems from that single dimension with simple tooling. Any number of braces, joining to any number of other braces, may be used in the system, and several systems may be used at various levels.

Abstract: A method and system facilitate communication between a constellation of satellites and a mobile platform-mounted mobile communicator. The method and system may include the use of a first antenna suited for operation using a first frequency band in a first geographic region and a second antenna suited for operation using either the first or a second frequency band in a second geographic region. The method and system may use a controller to determine which antenna to activate based on one or more of a geographic indicator or a signal indicator. The system used by the method to facilitate the communication may have one or more enclosures over the antennas and controller for mounting to a mobile platform.
Abstract: The invention refers to an optical device for heterodyne interferometry, comprising a chip, a beam splitter, a first waveguide arranged on the chip, light propagating in the first waveguide being guided to the beam splitter, a second waveguide arranged on the chip, light propagating in the second waveguide being guided to and/or from the beam splitter, wherein the beam splitter, the first waveguide, and the second waveguide form part of a Michelson interferometer, wherein the first waveguide and the second waveguide at least partially form two arms of the Michelson interferometer, and wherein two further arms of the Michelson interferometer are at least partially arranged outside the chip.

Abstract: While a speed of a first compressor during operation is less than a threshold speed, a speed of a second compressor during operation is prevented from falling below a minimum threshold speed that is defined by a sum of the speed of the first compressor and a predefined offset speed delta such that the minimum threshold speed changes as the speed of the first compressor changes.

Abstract: A device may include an enclosure configured to receive, store, and dispense a cleaning fluid. A device may include a support base, wherein the enclosure and support base can be configured to support a roll of cleaning wipes in a manner that permits the roll to rotate when one or more cleaning wipes are removed from the roll, wherein the enclosure is configured to be securely attached to the support base by pushing the enclosure downward onto an attachment region of the support base; and wherein the enclosure is configured to be released from the support base by pushing the enclosure downward. A liquid dispenser can have an elongate interior reservoir, a protruding carry loop, and an engagement zone with contours that engage with a latch in a paper-towel holder. The dispenser can have a spray trigger underneath the carry loop and a protruding roll stop. It can be sized to fit within a cylindrical cardboard tube configured to hold paper towels. A paper-towel holder can support and engage a liquid dispenser.

Abstract: This system is directed to a mobile platform having a power array carried by the mobile platform, connected to a distribution hub adapted to provide power to a base power source; an input controller having input computer readable instructions adapted to deliver power to a set of storage units from the base power source, the set of storage power units carried by the mobile platform; an output controller connected to the set of storage units having output computer readable instructions adapted to receive charge requirements from a load connected to the output controller, retrieving from a device lookup table included in the output controller a load type having charge specifications and delivering power to the load according to the charge specifications; and, an external power source connected to the distribution bus for proving power to the base power source from the external power source.
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes a set of N unit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) having a common architecture, and which provide an aggregate data rate. Moreover, the integrated circuit includes control logic that selects subsets of the set of N unit ADCs in order to realize sub-ADCs of different data rates that can each be an arbitrary integer multiple of an inverse of N times the aggregate data rate of the N unit ADCs. Furthermore, the control logic may dynamically select the subsets on the fly or on a frame-by-frame basis. This dynamically selection may occur at boot time and/or a runtime. Additionally, the given different data rate may correspond to one or more phases of a multi-phase clock in the integrated circuit, where the multiphase clock may include a number of phases corresponding to a number of possible subsets, and given selected subsets may not use all of the available phases.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a vehicle frame including a first frame rail, a second frame rail spaced cross-vehicle from the first frame rail, and a middle frame rail between the first frame rail and the second frame rail. The first frame rail and the second frame rail each have a vehicle-inboard side facing toward the middle frame rail. The vehicle-inboard sides each define a plurality of notches. The middle frame rail has a downward side facing downwardly and perpendicular to the vehicle-inboard sides. The downward side defining a plurality of notches. The vehicle frame has a rear cross-member and a front cross-member spaced vehicle-forward of the rear cross-member. The rear cross-member and the front cross-member are between the first frame rail and the second frame rail. The notches of the vehicle-inboard sides and the notches of the downward side are between the rear cross-member and the front cross-member.

Abstract: Implementations relate to effectively localizing system responses, that include dynamic information, to target language(s), such that the system responses are grammatical and/or natural in the target language(s). Some of those implementations relate to various techniques for resource efficient generation of templates for a target language. Some versions of those implementations relate to resource efficient generation of target language natural language generation (NLG) templates and, more particularly, to techniques that enable a human user to generate a target language NLG template more efficiently and/or with greater accuracy. The more efficient target language NLG template generation enables less utilization of various client device resources and/or can mitigate the risk of flawed NLG templates being provided for live use in one or more systems.
