Abstract: A system for estimating tire parameters for an off-road vehicle in real time, the system including a processing circuit including a processor and memory, the memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the processing circuit to measure a position of the vehicle at a first time, determine, based on the position, motion characteristics of the vehicle, predict, based on the motion characteristics, a position of the vehicle at a second time, measure a position of the vehicle at the second time, and generate a tire parameter associated with the vehicle based on the predicted position and the measured position of the vehicle at the second time.

Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes an engine block, a blower housing configured to direct cooling air to the engine block, an electric starting system, and a crankshaft configured to rotate about a crankshaft axis. The electric starting system includes an electric motor and an energy storage device located within the blower housing. The energy storage device is electrically coupled to the electric motor to power the electric motor, and is positioned above the crankshaft. When the starter motor is activated, the electric starting system rotates the crankshaft to rotate the engine for starting.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for using a transaction to collect additional transaction information. The method may include: receiving transaction information indicating that a transaction of one or more products and/or services has been made by a user from a merchant; when the transaction information is received, scanning a user e-mail account to identify a receipt for the transaction within an e-mail of the user e-mail account, wherein the receipt is indicative of a transaction price; when the receipt for the transaction is identified: extracting information of the one or more products and/or services from the receipt; and based on the extracted information, automatically generating and submitting a price adjustment claim for the one or more products and/or services when a price lower than the transaction price is found; and when the receipt for the transaction cannot be identified: automatically submitting information about a missing receipt to a fraud system.

Abstract: Railroad hopper cars and methods of increasing total volume capacity of a railroad hopper car having a car body with two or more hoppers. In one embodiment, the railroad hopper car includes a car body having a pair of opposed sides and a pair of opposed ends defining a length. The hopper car additionally includes a pair of wheeled trucks supporting the car body. The hopper car further includes two or more spaced bulkheads extending between the pair of opposed sides to define three or more separate hoppers arranged adjacent one another along the length of the car body and between the pair of side walls. The hoppers being longitudinally asymmetric such that total volume of the hoppers on one side of a transverse center plane of the car body is different from total volume of the hoppers on the other side of the transverse center plane.

Abstract: Alumina support compositions comprising at least 0.1 wt % of silica are disclosed. The alumina support are characterized by a pore volume of greater than 0.60 cc/g, a median pore size ranging from about 70 to about 120, a pore size distribution such that at least 90% of the total pore volume falls within the range of about 20 to about 250, and a pore size distribution width of no less than about 40. Alumina compositions of the present invention exhibit a primary peak mode at a pore diameter less than the median pore diameter. Also provided are catalysts made from the alumina supports, and processes of preparing and using the supports and catalysts.

Abstract: A vehicle control system for an agricultural vehicle, including a processing circuit including a processor and memory, the memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, cause the processing circuit to receive a location of a first vehicle, update a coverage map based on the location of the first vehicle, wherein the coverage map represents a region of operation for the agricultural vehicle and the first vehicle, designate one or more areas of the coverage map as repulsion areas based on the location of the first vehicle, and generate a path from the agricultural vehicle to the first vehicle based on the one or more repulsion areas.

Abstract: Systems and methods for decoding a coded video stream are provided. A method includes receiving a coded video stream that includes an access unit, including a picture; signaling a first flag, in an access unit delimiter of the coded video stream, that indicates whether the access unit includes either or neither one from among an intra random access point (IRAP) picture and a gradual decoding refresh (GDR) picture; signaling a second flag, in a picture header of the coded video stream, that indicates whether the picture is the IRAP picture; and decoding the picture, as a current picture, based on the signaling of the first flag and the second flag, wherein a value of the first flag and a value of the second flag are aligned.

Abstract: An approach for selecting sets of communications channels involves determining the performance of communications channels. A set of channels is selected based on the results of performance testing and specified criteria. The participant generates data that identifies the selected set of channels and provides that data to other participants of the communications network. The participants communicate over the set of channels, such as by using a frequency hopping protocol. When a specified time expires or monitoring of the performance of the channel set identifies poor performance of the set of channels, the participant selects another set of channels for use in communications based on additional performance testing. By selecting channels based on the initial performance testing and performance monitoring, the communications network adaptively avoids channels with poor performance.

Abstract: An axle assembly includes a spindle to receive a drive shaft having a rotational input about an axis and a wheel hub rotatably supported by at least one roller bearing disposed on the spindle. A tire inflation system defines a spindle gas passage to route pressurized gas from an onboard source through the spindle. The tire inflation system includes a seal chamber between the spindle and wheel hub to transfer gas from the spindle to the wheel hub, and a hub gas passage in fluid communication with the seal chamber is arranged to route the pressurized gas to a tire. A lubrication system having a reservoir is located axially outboard of the seal chamber and at least one hub lubricant passage routes lubricant between the reservoir to a roller bearing located axially inboard of the seal chamber. The hub lubricant passage routes lubricant radially outward of the seal chamber.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for the diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis based on an analysis of a patient sample. For example, patient test samples are analyzed for the presence or absence of one or more lactobacilli and two or more pathogenic organisms. The presence or absence of one or more lactobacilli and two or more pathogenic organisms may be detected using PCR analysis of nucleic acid segments corresponding to each target organism. The quantity of the target organisms can then be used to determine a score which is indicative of a diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis.

Abstract: Techniques and devices are disclosed for forming wettable flanks on no-leads semiconductor packages. A lead frame assembly may include a plurality of leads, each lead including a die surface and a plating surface, and an integrated circuit die arranged on the die surface. The plating surface for each of the leads may be plated with an electrical plating. A connecting film may be applied and lead frame assembly may be singulated into individual semiconductor packages by a series of cuts through each of the plurality of leads and the electrical plating of each of the plurality of leads to a depth up to or through a portion of the connecting film to create a channel exposing lead sidewalls of each of the plurality of leads. The lead sidewalls of each of the plurality of leads may be plated with a second electrical plating and the connecting film may be removed.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments a dual-core automated teller machine (ATM). The dual core ATM system and method includes two physical central processing units (“computing devices” or “cores”) that are configured to perform operations in coordination with peripheral devices. Peripheral devices of the dual-core ATM system can include a peripheral screen, such as a touch screen, a card reader, a PIN pad (e.g., an encrypted pin pad or “EPP”), a cash dispenser, and a cash deposit module. A peripheral switch can isolate one of the computing devices from the one or more peripheral devices and that can permit the other of the computing devices to control the one or more peripheral devices. By maintaining redundant hardware sets within the ATM enclosure, the system can avoid a necessary reboot or powering-off in the event of, for example, a software failure.

The data processing system can match the image features to the image features of a plurality of image to identify candidate images. A second image can be selected from the candidate images based on a request that the data processing system received with the input image.

Abstract: A system is disclosed for managing waste services performed by a service vehicle. The system may have at least one sensor disposed onboard the service vehicle and configured to generate a first signal indicative of a waste service being completed by the service vehicle. The system may also have a computing device in communication with the at least one sensor. The computing device may be configured to determine, based on the second signal, that the waste service has been performed. The computing device may also be configured to selectively generate an electronic response based on performance of the waste service.

Abstract: An optimized near-field communication (NFC) antenna structure for reduced coupling with a wireless charging (WLC) coil of a computing device includes the WLC coil and an NFC coil that at least partially overlaps the WLC coil. The NFC coil of the optimized structure may include two sections that partially overlap the WLC coil and meet, over the WLC coil, at an angle to reduce coupling between the WLC coil and the NFC coil. The angled shape of the NFC coil may be implemented in various shapes resulting in one or more angles such that the first and second sections of the NFC coil are angled with respect to one another over the WLC coil. The combination or shape of the angles of the NFC coil, as well as NFC coil position relative to the WLC coil, may be optimized to reduce coupling between the NFC coil and the WLC coil.
