Abstract: A method is provided for producing a biochar solution. The method comprises the steps of collecting biochar particles, dispersing the biochar particles in a liquid solution and adding a stabilizing agent to keep the biochar in flowable suspension. The stabilizing agent may be added to the liquid solution or to the biochar prior to placing the biochar in solution.

Abstract: A first base station receives, from a second base station, one or more first parameters identifying a first plurality of subframes as a listen-before-talk (LBT) subframe of the second base station. The first base station selects a second plurality of subframes as an LBT subframes based on the one or more first parameters. The first base station transmits, to a wireless device, at least one radio resource control message comprising one or more second parameters identifying the second plurality of subframes as LBT subframes. In response to an LBT procedure indicating a clear channel, a burst is transmitted to the wireless device. The burst is configured to begin in a subframe identified as an LBT subframe.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, apparatus, and system for receiving and calibrating lateral deviation values and for controlling an autonomous vehicle to correct the lateral deviation is described. In every perception and planning cycle, a single lateral deviation value representative of an estimated autonomous vehicle lateral deviation from a reference line (e.g., corresponding to a center of the lane) is generated based on camera detection. The deviation value for a present cycle is received. A calibrated deviation value can be updated for the present cycle based on the received deviation value and a Gaussian distribution model. Control signals for the present cycle are generated to drive the autonomous vehicle to at least partially correct the autonomous vehicle lateral deviation based on the updated calibrated deviation value.

Abstract: A method for determining when to load read I/O operations into an SSD cache medium for a physical storage medium of a data storage system can include maintaining an SSD filter bitmap with a plurality of bits, where each of the bits corresponds to a respective data block of the physical storage medium. Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for improvements to authenticate users, particularly authenticating a user based on data known to the user. For example, methods and systems allow for users to be securely authenticated based on data known to the users over remote communication networks without storing the data known to the users. Specifically, methods and systems authenticate users by requiring users to select images that are known to the users. For example, the methods and systems may generate synthetic images based on the user's own images and require the user to select the synthetic image, from a set of a set of images, that is known to the user to authenticate the user. Moreover, the methods and systems alleviate storage and privacy concerns by not storing the data known to the users.

Abstract: A system and method for the real-user capable monitoring of the rendering process of dynamically updated web pages is presented. The proposed approach deploys a browser agent to content loaded and displayed by a web browser which monitors resource load activities caused by the processing of the content by the browser and in-place content modifications caused by the executions of scripts and XHR communication by the browser. Those resource load and content modification activities affecting the visible area of the browser are identified and a point in time is calculated at which the visualization of the content for the visible area is complete. Further performance monitoring data describing the performance of the rendering process depending on the percentage of finished portions of the visible area over time is calculated. In addition, data describing the rendering process in detail may be captured by the browser agent which may be used for a later playback of the rendering process.
