Abstract: A first controller can be coupled to a main power supply and deliver a first charging current to an electric vehicle (EV) at a first charging station. The first controller can also deliver power to a second controller that can provide a second charging current to an EV at a second charging station. The first controller turns off the power to the second controller in response to determining that there is an EV charging at the first charging station, and turns on the power to the second controller only in response to determining that an EV is not charging at the first charging station.

The cover assembly also includes at least three capacitor cover terminals, each of the at least three capacitor cover terminals having at least one contact extending from the deformable cover. The deformable cover is configured to displace at least one of the at least three capacitor cover terminals upon an operative failure of at least one of the plurality of the capacitive elements. The cover assembly also includes at least four insulation structures. One of the four insulation structures is associated with one of the at least three capacitor cover terminals.
Abstract: The invention describes an imaging device (1) comprising an image sensor (2), an imaging lens (3), an infrared light source (5) to illuminate a scene (SC), and an infrared autofocus system (6) for providing an autofocus function, wherein the image sensor (2) comprises an array (21) of sensor pixels each arranged as dual pixel (22) comprising two separate pixel sensors (22a, 22b) per dual pixel (22) to record the image data (D1) as a sum signal from both pixel sensors (22a, 22b) and providing infrared data (D2) as individual signals from each of the two pixel sensors (22a, 22b) for phase contrast (PC) autofocusing, wherein an infrared filter (7) arranged between an aperture (4) of the imaging device (1) and an imaging sensor (2) and is adapted to locally transmit only a portion of the infrared light (IR) to the imaging sensor (2) by comprising at least one first area (71) arranged as infrared blocking area and at least one second area (72) arranged as infrared bandpass area.
Abstract: Embodiments relate to systems and methods for assessing site-wide IT and other electronic equipment replacement criticality. A system generally includes a plurality of point-of-sale (POS) systems located at a corresponding plurality of retail sites, a centralized transaction database configured to receive datasets from each of the plurality of POS systems, a processor configured to group the plurality of retail sites according a predefined site type, determine averages for each field within the received datasets, compare the received datasets to the computed averages, multiply the comparisons by a weighting value, and at the weighted comparisons together to form a criticality score.
Abstract: An optic providing reduction in secondary or ghost images includes a beam splitter, a reflective surface, and at least one baffle therebetween. A transmissive surface may be located between the beam splitter and the reflective surface. The baffle is positioned to intercept internally reflected ghost rays while being substantially parallel to outside light rays along a line of sight of the viewer, permitting use in see-through optics. The baffles may be formed of diffusing structures, light absorbing material, and combinations of both. Baffles intercept and scatter or absorb ghost rays to the exclusion of projected image rays that provide a desired projected image which are internally reflected through the optic. An assembly including such optic integrated with a wearable vision system, such as a head-mounted display, is also disclosed for near-eye application.

Abstract: A paint container for use with a reusable dispensing apparatus, and the reusable dispensing apparatus are provided to dispense paint under pressure. The paint container includes a housing defining an interior space that is devoid of an internal valve, and a combination comprising a propellant combined with paint within the interior space. A container cap is installed on the housing to enclose the propellant combined with the paint within the interior space at an elevated pressure, and defines a channel that cooperates with a portion of the housing. A compressible gasket is disposed within the channel and compressed between the container cap and the portion of the housing to form a seal that interferes with an escape of the propellant combined with the paint between the container cap and the housing. A releasable fastener engages releasably couples the reusable dispensing apparatus to the container cap.
Abstract: An anterior chamber maintainer (ACM) is fastened to the cornea of a patient's eye at one or more, or potentially two or more, points of contact. The ACM can be inserted through a first and a second incision. The ACM can be fastened to each of the two incisions using fasteners. The ACM includes openings to provide irrigation solution to maintain the volume of the patient's eye during cataract surgery. The shape of the openings can be customized to reduce the amount of turbulence caused by the irrigation solution.
Abstract: Disclosed are methods of determining activity of CDK4 and CDK6 variants upon exposure to CDK inhibitors, methods for determining activity of a Rb variant, methods for determining the activity of a p16 variant in a cell, and methods for determining the sensitivity of a CDK4 variant or a CDK6 variant to p16 in a cell. Stable cell lines for determining activity of CDK4 variants, CDK6 variants, Rb variants, and p16 variants are also disclosed.
Abstract: Systems and methods for illuminating and/or inspecting one or more features of a unit under test (UUT) are disclosed herein. A system configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, a machine, one or more diffuser elements, and/or one or more light sources. The system can create and adjust brightfield illumination profiles (e.g., uniform, brightfield illumination profiles) on portions (e.g., on curved features) of the UUT by, for example, using the one or more light sources and/or the one or more diffuser elements to adjust diffuse and/or specular illumination projected onto the curved features of the UUT. In some embodiments, the system includes one or more darkfield light sources configured to project illumination onto second portions of the UUT to create a darkfield illumination profile. The system can capture data of the brightfield and/or darkfield illumination profiles and can thereby inspect portions of the UUT.
Abstract: A woven sleeve for routing and protecting an elongate member and method of construction thereof are provided. The sleeve has a woven wall with a circumferentially continuous outer periphery extending along a central axis between opposite ends. Warp yarns extend generally parallel to the central axis and fill yarns extend generally transversely to the warp yarns. At least a portion of the wall has a plurality of layers in abutment with one another. At least one of the fill yarns is provided as a shrinkable yarn that provides the wall with an ability to remain in a first, diametrically enlarged assembly state to facilitate assembly of the sleeve about the elongate member, whereupon the wall can be radially constricted to a second, diametrically constricted assembled state to maintain the sleeve in the desired location, while also minimizing the outer circumference to facilitate use of the sleeve in tight spaces.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for processing database requests on a database hosted on a stateless, non-persistent computing environment are provided. A server stores database requests to insert update or delete data in a unit of work set identified by a unique code. The database requests are performed on the database upon receiving an instruction to commit the database requests to the database. If an instruction is sent to rollback a unit of work set the database remains unchanged. This allows a client to handle requests in logical groups.

Abstract: A computer-based method includes receiving, by at least one first server managed by a first domain name registrar, a search string that identifies a desired domain name by a potential owner. The desired domain name is determined to be available for transfer. A firm domain name transfer request for the desired domain name is received from the potential owner and sent to at least one domain name aftermarket server operating an Aftermarket Platform. An approval notification is received that the firm domain name transfer request is approved by the current owner. An authorization code for authorizing an electronic transfer of the desired domain name is received and utilized to transfer the desired domain name from a second domain name registrar to an account of the potential owner with the first domain name registrar so that the potential owner becomes a new owner of the desired domain name.
