Abstract: Example embodiments of systems and methods for data transmission system between transmitting and receiving devices are provided. In an embodiment, each of the transmitting and receiving devices can contain a master key. The transmitting device can generate a diversified key using the master key, protect a counter value and encrypt data prior to transmitting to the receiving device, which can generate the diversified key based on the master key and can decrypt the data and validate the protected counter value using the diversified key.

Abstract: A theft deterrent system for an electronics cabinet may include a first hasp, which may include a plurality of studs extending from a surface thereof. At least one stud of the plurality of studs may be dimensioned to engage with a padlock ring of the electronics cabinet. The first hasp may have a tab having a shackle hole therein. The theft deterrent system may include a second hasp, which may include a plurality of holes dimensioned to receive a respective one of the plurality of studs. The second hasp may also have a tab having a shackle hole therein. The system may further include a shield retainer dimensioned to surround at least portions of the first hasp and the second hasp. To secure the electronics cabinet, a shackle of a hidden shackle lock may be fed through the shackle holes and the hidden shackle lock may then be locked.

Abstract: A method for determining when to load read I/O operations into an SSD cache medium for a physical storage medium of a data storage system can include maintaining an SSD filter bitmap with a plurality of bits, where each of the bits corresponds to a respective data block of the physical storage medium. The method can also include initially setting each of the bits to a first predetermined value, receiving a first read I/O operation directed to a particular data block of the physical storage medium and, in response to receiving the first read I/O operation, setting a bit corresponding to the particular data block to a second predetermined value. The method can further include receiving a second read I/O operation directed to the particular data block and, in response to receiving the second I/O operation, loading data for the particular data block into the SSD cache medium.

Abstract: The mounting system includes a first crossbar, at least one horizontally-slideable bracket on the first crossbar, and a first support bracket and a second support bracket respectively on a first end and a second end of the first crossbar. The first support bracket and the second support bracket attach the first crossbar to a first vertical upright and a second vertical upright of a consumer product display, respectively. The support brackets each include a major body, and a first engaging structure and a second engaging structure on a first end and a second end of the major body, respectively. The engaging structures each are configured to respectively connect to a front set of teeth and a back set of teeth, where the front set of teeth and the back set of teeth run along a longitudinal length of the first vertical upright and the second vertical upright, respectively.

Abstract: A bone plate for implanting in a femur bone having a prosthesis implanted therein includes a shaft portion defining a plurality of holes and a trochanteric portion proximal to the shaft portion having two arms forming a concave shape and defining a plurality of first holes for receiving screws such that when implanted, the two arms at least partially wrap around and attach to the femur bone. The bone plate may include at least one bendable extension positioned between both of the arms. Each of the extensions may define at least one second hole.

Abstract: Methods and systems for oxidizing gas are provided. An example regenerative oxidizer is provided that includes a combustion chamber to heat gas present in the combustion chamber. The regenerative oxidizer also includes a first heat exchange media bed and a second heat exchange media bed, each in fluid communication with the combustion chamber. The regenerative oxidizer also includes a rotary valve disposed at least partially between the first heat exchange media bed and the second heat exchange media bed. The rotary valve may alternate the flow of gas between a first and a second airflow direction. The first heat exchange media bed, the rotary valve, and the second heat exchange media bed are arranged with respect to each other such that the gas pathway between the first heat exchange media bed and the rotary valve and between the second heat exchange media bed and the rotary valve is non-linear.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for adaptive scan control. In one embodiment, a method includes, upon an injection of a contrast agent, performing a plurality of perfusion acquisitions of a first anatomical region of interest (ROI) of a subject with the imaging system, processing projection data of the first anatomical ROI obtained from the plurality of perfusion acquisitions to measure a contrast signal of the contrast agent, performing a plurality of angiography acquisitions, each angiography acquisition performed at a respective time determined based on the contrast signal, and performing one or more additional perfusion acquisitions between each angiography acquisition.

Abstract: A method of making an aircraft acoustic structural panel (10) begins with preforming a core honeycomb laminate (12) having preformed foam (3) bonded inside cells (14) thereof by a distinct adhesive (2). The preformed honeycomb laminate (12) is then stacked between opposite top and bottom structural outer laminates (16,18). The stacked honeycomb laminate (12) and outer structural laminates (16,18) are then compressed together under heat and pressure into a unitary structural panel (10) having the core honeycomb laminate (12) integrally bonded between outer skins (20,22). The outer laminates (16,18) may include imperforate acoustic septums (4) bounding the core honeycomb laminate (12) followed by an outer honeycomb (5) and structural fiber layers (6,7,8) defining the outer skins (20,22).

Abstract: A system providing self-service access to locked merchandise comprising: (a) providing a fixture that restricts access to the locked merchandise, wherein the fixture can automatically lock or unlock, allowing or restricting access to the locked merchandise; (b) providing a means of uniquely identifying an individual attempting to access the merchandise; (c) measuring a set of behaviors of the individual during any time the fixture is an open mode; (d) assessing whether the set of behaviors of the individual are suspicious or not relative to a set of suspicious event thresholds; (e) storing the individual and their set of behaviors as accessible records in at least one database; and (f) providing an algorithm which determines future access privileges of the individual to the enclosure based on a set of variables.

Abstract: Trusted execution of a workload payload is brokered among multiple trusted execution platforms. The workload payload is received from a source computing system and includes input data, trusted execution code, and one or more trusted execution policies. At least one of the multiple trusted execution platforms is selected based on the one or more trusted execution policies. A brokered payload is generated to include executable trusted execution code and the input data. The brokered payload is communicated to the selected at least one trusted execution platform. A brokered result generated from the brokered payload by the selected at least one trusted execution platform is received. A workload result based on the brokered result is returned to the source computing platform.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and software for data obfuscation frameworks for user applications are provided herein. An exemplary method includes providing user content to a classification service configured to process the user content to classify portions of the user content as comprising sensitive content, and receiving from the classification service indications of the user content that contains the sensitive content. The method includes presenting graphical indications in a user interface to the user application that annotate the user content as containing the sensitive content, and presenting obfuscation options in the user interface for masking the sensitive content within at least a selected portion among the user content. Responsive to a user selection of at least one of the obfuscation options, the method includes replacing associated user content with obfuscated content that maintains a data scheme of the associated user content.

Abstract: System and methods are described herein for providing wireless power to a target device, such as a laptop computer, a mobile phone, a vehicle, robot, or an unmanned aerial vehicle or system (UAV) or (UAS). A tunable multi-element transmitter may transmit electromagnetic radiation (EMR) to the target device using any of a wide variety of frequency bands. A location determination subsystem and/or range determination subsystem may determine a relative location, orientation, and/or rotation of the target device. For a target device within a distance range for which a smallest achievable waist of the Gaussian beam of the EMR at an operational frequency is smaller than the multi-element EMR receiver of the target device, a non-Gaussian beamform may be determined to increase efficiency, decrease overheating, reduce spillover, increase total power output of rectenna receivers on the target device, or achieve another target power delivery goal.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for processing database requests on a database hosted on a stateless, non-persistent computing environment are provided. A server stores database requests to insert update or delete data in a unit of work set identified by a unique code. The database requests are performed on the database upon receiving an instruction to commit the database requests to the database. If an instruction is sent to rollback a unit of work set the database remains unchanged. This allows a client to handle requests in logical groups.

Abstract: A computer-based method includes receiving, by at least one first server managed by a first domain name registrar, a search string that identifies a desired domain name by a potential owner. The desired domain name is determined to be available for transfer. A firm domain name transfer request for the desired domain name is received from the potential owner and sent to at least one domain name aftermarket server operating an Aftermarket Platform. An approval notification is received that the firm domain name transfer request is approved by the current owner. An authorization code for authorizing an electronic transfer of the desired domain name is received and utilized to transfer the desired domain name from a second domain name registrar to an account of the potential owner with the first domain name registrar so that the potential owner becomes a new owner of the desired domain name.

Abstract: A computing device includes a processor and a medium storing instructions. The instructions are executable by the processor to: detect an information technology (IT) event associated with an IT system; determine an event class for the IT event; identify a plurality of event-procedure relations associated with the determined event class, each of the plurality of event-procedure relations having an associated success score; select a first event-procedure relation having a highest success score, wherein the first event-procedure relation specifies a relation between the determined event class and a first remediation procedure; and execute the selected first remediation procedure to remediate the IT event.

Abstract: Methods and systems are also described for generating qualitative graphical representations of the standardized metrics. For example, in order to allow contributors to intuitively understand and compare the standardized metrics, the methods and systems convert the standardized metrics into graphical representations that allow for a qualitative comparison of contributors. This conversion includes the retrieval of the standardized metrics and the use of non-conventional techniques for filtering the metrics based on dynamic criteria to generate software development scores that may be used to compare different contributors.
