Abstract: A compression device particularly suited for DVT prophylaxis includes a disposable wrap and a re-usable controller removably mounted on the wrap to apply a tensioning force to the wrap when it is encircling the limb of a patient. The wrap includes an RF chip with a unique identifier and the controller includes an RF sensor and processor to authenticate the wrap before commencing a compression cycle. A kiosk is provided for storing a plurality of wraps for use by patients and a plurality of controllers to be used with any of the wraps. The processor of each controller can control an electric motor in the controller to tighten and loosen the wrap according to a compression protocol between a pre-tension compression force and maximum compression force. The amount of movement of the wrap changes as the patient's physiology changes while maintaining the pre-tension and maximum compression forces.

Abstract: A radiation shield assembly includes a shield configured to block radiation and a rail assembly configured to position the shield in between the radiation table and a radiation source. The shield is movable between a retracted position and an extended position along a length of the rail assembly. In the extended position, the shield extends along a portion of a radiation table and blocks radiation from the radiation source to the portion of the radiation table. In the retracted position, the shield exposes at least some of the portion of the radiation table to the radiation.
Abstract: A method is provided for authenticating a first device to a second device using a self-signed digital certificate, when the first device is requested to authenticate itself to the second device. Responsive to the request, a self-signed digital certificate is sent from the first device to the second device. The self-signed digital certificate includes a hash of a password that has been previously provisioned in the first device. The password previously provisioned in the first device is hashed. The hash of the password previously provisioned in the first device is compared, using the second device, with the hash of the password included in the self-signed digital certificate. The first device is authenticated if the second device confirms that the hash of the password previously provisioned in the first device matches the hash of the password included in the self-signed digital certificate.
Abstract: Conformable sealing eartips having ribs formed on an interior surface of one or more eartip flanges are provided. The eartip may include a body and one or more flanges. The body may include an ear insertion end, an earphone insertion end opposite the ear insertion end, and a central opening extending between the ear insertion end and the earphone insertion end to form an inner sound channel through the body. The one or more flanges may extend from the body and may include an outer sealing surface and an inner surface. At least one of the one or more flanges may include a plurality of ribs protruding from the inner surface of the at least one of the one or more flanges.
Abstract: A system includes a bicycle and a container including an opening. The bicycle is movable between an unfolded position and a folded position. The system includes a first member supported by the container in the container and positioned to engage the bicycle, and a second member supported by the container in the container and positioned to engage the bicycle spaced from the first member. The first member is movable relative to the second member toward and away from the opening.

Abstract: Systems and methods for e-commerce systems using natural language understanding are described. A computing device is configured receive at least one application-specific element for a natural language conversation application, at least one shared element, and a user utterance, The system identifies at least one intent based on the at least one application-specific element and the at least one shared element and generates a system utterance based on the at least one application-specific element.
Abstract: A portable device and method of supplying power to the portable device may provide a sterile environment that may protect the health and safety of patients on whom the device is employed. The portable device may be charged inside of the sterile environment. The portable device may be charged using at least one chargeable battery that may be arranged internal and/or external to a portion of the portable device, or internal and/or external to the portable device. A power supply may be connected to the at least one chargeable battery and power the portable device for use. The portable device may be charged up to 100% and/or or fully charged prior to opening the sterile environment.
Abstract: A method for localizing sound when enabling participation in a live event, including establishing a multi-player gaming session of a gaming application that generates an interactive gaming world, the live event being a real-world venue where players playing the gaming application are present. A live view of the venue is generated based on captured video streams, and generated for a physical POV anchored to a physical location in the venue. Audio is generated for the live event, and modified to reflect acoustics of the real-world venue for the physical location. The modified audio is synchronized to the live view. The live view and synchronized audio are streamed to an HMD of a remote user located outside the venue, and presents an augmented reality view of the live event.
Abstract: This invention relates to a method and a system for performing seamless authentication and identification of a mobile subscriber requesting to access a 3rd Party Merchant's online platform. The subscriber verification system intercepts a message sent from a first network node to a second network node during a data session establishment procedure. The subscriber verification system extracts a first set of identification values associated with a user equipment (UE) from the intercepted message. After the data session is established, the UE sends an encrypted request to access the Merchant server. The Merchant server identifies a second set of identification values associated with the encrypted request and sends them for validation to the subscriber verification system. The second set of identification values is compared against the first set of identification values. If the two set of identification values match, the UE is authenticated.
Abstract: A system of cameras can be used to generate a complete field of view within an edge network. For example, one camera can have a field of view where part of the view is obstructed by an object and/or by the camera's orientation. Yet another camera that is a part of the edge network can supplement the view of the first camera by providing an alternate view. The two views can be stitched together by a coordinate system such that a complete field of view can be utilized by both cameras. Additionally, where a field of view is not available by any stationary camera, the system can dispatch a mobile camera to help supplement the views.
