Abstract: An adjustable tracheostoma valve includes a housing having a first opening that is adapted to open to a tracheostoma and a second opening that opens to ambient. The housing includes a lower housing portion defining the first opening and an upper housing portion movably attached to the lower housing portion and defining the second opening. A closure member is disposed in the housing and adapted to close the second opening. A flexible membrane includes a first region connected to the closure member and a plurality of spiral shaped legs extending from the first region and connected to the housing. The upper and lower housings are axially adjustable relative to one another to adjust an amount of air flow through the valve that would cause closure of the closure member. A heat and moisture exchanger is disposed in the housing between the first opening and the second opening.
Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a porous material in a cold side flow passage. The porous material is configured to distribute a liquid phase throughout the cold side flow passage through capillary action.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for eyebox expansion in wearable heads-up displays (“WHUDs”) are described. The WHUDs described herein each include a projector and an optical waveguide positioned in an optical path between the projector and an eye of the user. For any given light signal from the projector, the optical waveguide receives the light signal at an input coupler and outputs multiple instances or copies of the light signal from multiple discrete, spatially-separated output couplers. The multiple instances or copies of the light signal may be converged by the optical waveguide directly to respective exit pupils at the user's eye or may be routed by the optical waveguide to a holographic combiner in the user's field of view from which the light signals may be converged to respective exit pupils at the user's eye. The optical waveguide employs exit pupil replication to expand the eyebox of the WHUD.

Abstract: A toy road paving device (toy dispenser) is provided that simulates a real-world road paving machine by dispensing, laying down, cutting, and smoothing either one or multiple strips of spooled tape material upon a hard, flat surface such as a table or floor. The device “paves” the tape road easily, smoothly, evenly, and without the risk of tearing the tape material from excess stress. More generally, the device can lay out any toy play surface printed on tape, a strip of paper, or other material. The device can be operated manually or mechanically powered.
Abstract: A plastic, hot-fillable container is provided. The container comprises a blow molded body defining a longitudinal axis. The body including a base and a neck having at least one rib disposed about at least a portion of a circumference of the neck and transverse to the axis, and at least one angled thread. The at least one rib defining a cross section having a first portion and a second angled portion. Container systems and methods of manufacturing containers are provided.

Abstract: A piezoelectric generator for generating power upon an acceleration and upon a deceleration of a body. The piezoelectric generator including: first and second masses; first and second springs, the first spring being connected to the body at one end and to the first mass at an other end, the second spring being connected to the body at one end and to the second spring at an other end; and a piezoelectric material connected to the first and second masses such that the piezoelectric material generates power when the body is accelerated or decelerated.
Abstract: A state-of-charge (SOC) display system includes a battery, a brake light array including multiple lighting elements, and an SOC module. The SOC module is configured to receive a battery status signal including an SOC of the battery. The SOC module is further configured to output a display signal to the brake light array based on the battery status signal. The brake light array is configured to receive the display signal, and illuminate at least a subset of the lighting elements for displaying the SOC of the battery by the brake light array, in response to the display signal.
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and processor-readable storage media for automatic identification of workloads contributing to behavioral changes in storage systems using machine learning techniques are provided herein. An example computer-implemented method includes obtaining a primary time series and a set of candidate time series; calculating, using machine learning techniques, similarity measurements between the primary time series and each candidate time series in the set; for each similarity measurement, assigning weights to the candidate time series based on similarity values; generating, for each candidate time series, a similarity score based on the assigned weights; automatically identifying, based on the similarity scores, a candidate time series as contributing to an anomaly exhibited in the primary time series; and outputting identifying information of the at least one identified candidate time series for use in one or more automated actions associated with the storage system.

Abstract: A baffle tile that folds from a flat configuration into a three-dimensional configuration is disclosed. In the three-dimensional configuration, it includes a rim portion and a baffle portion. The rim portion is split into halves. Each half of the rim portion terminates in a pair of upwardly-folded, spaced-apart tabs. When the baffle tile is in its three-dimensional configuration, each tab meets and abuts its counterpart from the other half of the rim portion. Each tab has a notch in it, arranged such that the notches of abutted tabs are aligned. A retaining structure inserts into each set of aligned notches. The retaining structures prevent the tabs of the baffle tile from separating. In some cases, a single retaining structure that has approximately the same size as the baffle tile itself may also serve as a cap to enclose the tile.
