  • Patent number: 11178135
Abstract: Systems and methods may be used for providing more secure authentication attempts by implementing authentication systems with credentials that include interspersed noise symbols in positions selected, for example by a user. These systems and methods secure against eavesdroppers such as shoulder-surfers or man-in-the middle attacks as it is difficult for an eavesdropper to separate the noise symbols from legitimate credential symbols. Some systems and methods may use a subset of a credential with the interspersed noise symbols.

  • Patent number: 11176595
Abstract: An order for telecommunications services is received comprising order parameters including a CPE device configuration request for a customer network. A warehouse is selected as a staging location based upon the order parameters, available inventory of the CPE device, and shipping information from the warehouse to the customer network. A bay of a rack at the staging location is selected to stage a CPE device that matches the specifications of the CPE device configuration request. The CPE device is validated by verifying hardware of the CPE device and whether the CPE device is loaded with certain predetermined software. A configuration is executed to the CPE device to provide the telecommunication services according to the order parameters. The configuration is saved and the CPE device is prepared for installation at a customer location. The CPE device may be shipped to the customer network using the order parameters and shipping information.

  • Patent number: 11173411
Abstract: The present disclosure includes embodiments directed to a reversible toy. The reversible toy may include a body including first and second material layers coupled by a retainer. The body may define an opening to an interior cavity. The body may be reversible between a first position and a second position by collapsing at least a portion of the body through the opening. In the first position, the first material layer may form an outer surface of the reversible toy and the second material layer may form an inner surface of the reversible toy. The inner surface may define the interior cavity. In the second position, the second material layer may form the outer surface of the reversible toy and the first material layer may form the inner surface of the reversible toy. The retainer may define a bottom edge of the body in both the first and second positions.

  • Patent number: 11176147
Abstract: A computer-implemented technique is described herein for creating a relational data structure by extracting user data items from a collection of one or more applications sources. These data items evince interests exhibited by the users, and may include messages, documents, tasks, meetings, etc. The technique also collects knowledge data items from one or more knowledge sources. In one implementation, these data items may include terms used to describe skills possessed by the users. The technique constructs the data structure by providing objects associated with respective data items, and links between respective pairs of objects. In its real-time phase of operation, the technique allows a user to interrogate the relational data structure, e.g., to identify skills possessed by a particular user, to find users associated with a specified skill, etc.

  • Patent number: 11175270
Abstract: The systems of the present invention provide monitoring and recording means for monitoring and maintaining a history of one or more parameters associated with a building or a particular location. The system can be preset with default actions to be conducted as a result of certain events or changes in certain parameters being detected. For example, the water and/or gas utilities can be programmed to shut down if smoke is detected, indicating the possible presence of a fire, or if the temperature drops below freezing temperature. All utilities, including gas, and water can be programmed to shut down in the event that a potentially significant change in a monitored parameter is detected.
