Abstract: In order to facilitate the entity resolution and entity activity tracking and indexing, systems and methods include receiving first source records from a first database and second source records from a record database. A candidate set of second source records is determined by a heuristic search in the set of second source records. A candidate pair feature vector associated with each candidate pair of first and second source records is generated. An entity matching machine learning model predicts matching first source records for each candidate second source record based on the respective candidate pair feature vector. An aggregate quantity associated with the matching first source records is aggregated from a quantity associated with each first source record, and a quantity index for each candidate second source record is determined based the aggregate quantities. Each quantity index is displayed to a user.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present invention provide for one or more server computers communicatively coupled to a network and configured to: receive, from an app running on a mobile device determined to be operating in a business mode, an incoming data; display, on the mobile device, a request for, and a confirmation that the incoming data comprises a website content and its description; generate a metadata from the description defining at least one detail of the website content; define, within a data record storing the incoming data, the website content and the metadata defining one or more details of the website content; determine that a quantity of the website content is above a required threshold to generate the website; and generate the website comprising the website content.

Abstract: A mounting system capable of mounting objects to support structures. The mounting system includes a wall mount including a display bracket configured to hold the object, a fixed support bracket coupleable to a vertical support structure, and a linkage assembly. The linkage assembly has a low-profile stowed configuration in which the object is held in a raised position close to the support structure. The linkage assembly moves to another configuration to move the object. The object can be held in a lowered position. A biasing mechanism can facilitate convenient movement of the object.

Abstract: Techniques for implementing and/or operating a system that includes a pipe segment, in which the pipe segment includes tubing that defines a pipe bore and a fluid conduit within an annulus of the tubing, a bore device to be moved through the pipe bore of the pipe segment, in which the bore device includes an internal sensor that determines sensor data indicative of an electrical parameter that the bore device encounters while disposed in the pipe bore of the pipe segment and fluid blocking material implemented around the internal sensor, and a control sub-system communicatively coupled to the bore device. The control sub-system determines whether static charge is expected to be present in the pipe bore of the pipe segment based at least in part on the sensor data determined by the internal sensor of the bore device.

Abstract: A tote bag including an outer shell defining a sidewall, wherein the outer shell also includes multiple shoulder straps, wherein the shoulder straps also include hand straps, and wherein the shoulder straps are configured to remain above a plane of the base of the bag when the tote bag is carried by the hand straps is disclosed. An inner bottom liner and the outer shell form a storage compartment with an opening configured to allow access to the storage compartment. Further, a semi-rigid base configured to keep the tote bag upright is disclosed.

Abstract: A method of controlling an axle assembly includes providing an axle assembly in a first state. A first controller is provided in electrical communication with the axle assembly. The first controller determines if a source of power has an available amount of electrical energy that is within a predetermined range and a predetermined period of time has elapsed. If the available amount of electrical energy is within the predetermined range and the predetermined period of time has elapsed, then electrical energy is transferred from the source of power to an electric motor generator and an axle disconnect clutch is engaged to provide the axle assembly in another state.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to techniques for dynamically selecting codecs as video is transmitted in real time. In some embodiments, a first codec initially encodes video data, and a second codec is evaluated to replace the first codec. The system switches to the second codec only if an increased amount of power consumption resulting from using the second codec balances with a correspondingly sufficient increase in the quality of the video encoded by the second codec. In some embodiments, codecs are excluded from consideration if it is determined that the local device does not have sufficient processing resources to operate the codec, or if a mismatch is detected between the codec operating on a sending device and a codec operating on a receiving device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are provided for generating a graphical user interface configured to display, at least in part, a schedule. According to one aspect, the system can receive selectable fields of a client and selectable fields one or more providers from a plurality of providers. The system can determine the quality of pairings between the client and each of the one or more providers based on the one or more selectable fields of the client and the one or more selectable fields of the one or more providers. The system can generate a schedule of potential sessions based on the pairings. The system can score each of the potential sessions and display the schedule and scores to a user.

Abstract: A vehicle with sensor enabled features includes a vehicle frame, a windshield movable between a lowered position and a raised position where the windshield is coupled to the vehicle frame, and a forward sensor assembly coupled to the vehicle frame and including a sensor module disposed within a protective housing assembly. The protective housing assembly defines an open end and includes a front cover configured to removably couple to the protective housing assembly to selectively cover the open end. When the windshield is in the raised position, the windshield covers the open end to facilitate protecting the sensor module. When the windshield is in the lowered position, the front cover is configured to cover the open end to facilitate protecting the sensor module.

Abstract: Methods for rendering augmented reality (AR) content are presented. An a priori defined 3D albedo model of an object is leveraged to adjust AR content so that is appears as a natural part of a scene. Disclosed devices recognize a known object having a corresponding albedo model. The devices compare the observed object to the known albedo model to determine a content transformation referred to as an estimated shading (environmental shading) model. The transformation is then applied to the AR content to generate adjusted content, which is then rendered and presented for consumption by a user.

Abstract: A method for transferring an image to a subpixel array may include generating a set of subframes in which each subframe contains a fraction of the range of intensities of the image. The bit-depth of the subframes may be reduced from the bit-depth of the image. The computer-implemented method may include (1) receiving image data for an image including a set of intensities in one or more channels, (2) processing the image data into subframe data for a plurality of subframes, each subframe including a fractional range of intensities that are a subset of the set of intensities of the image, and (3) temporally multiplexing the plurality of subframes generated from the subframe data to reconstitute the image in a viewing region using an optical system having a light deviator that laterally shifts light from an emissive array. Various other apparatus, systems, and methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: An application such as a phone app that presents and categorizes inspirational cards that may include quotes and images. Cards may be organized into themes, such as “Seek”, “Scream”, “Speak”, “Strong”. Cards associated with each theme may be installed with the application. Users may generate their own cards by entering text and selecting or taking a photo. Users may bookmark certain cards as favorites. A “Today” category may present a random selection of a few cards, which users can shuffle and reselect as desired. Users may browse cards using a scrollable set of thumbnails, and they may share cards with other users using messaging services or social media services.

Abstract: A system for acquiring multi-angle images of a product includes a workstation having a working surface for placing a product, a camera supporting member having a vertical axis, and an image capturing device movably attached to the camera supporting member so that it may move along the vertical axis of the camera supporting member. The system captures and analyzes a digital image of a product to detect the vertical center of the product, and adjusts the position of the image capturing device along the vertical axis so that the vertical center of the product is proximate to the vertical center of the image. The system may also have a turntable and additionally rotate the turntable at multiple capturing angles and capture one or more additional digital images of the product at various capturing angles and store the one or more additional images in a product database.

Abstract: Information regarding display of selected content items in assigned slots is provided. The information is based on a selected template that includes areas for groups of slots for related content items, such as content items that are targeted to a common targeting object. Candidate content items, identified based on targeting or other distribution information, are assigned to selected slots to determine at least part of the information regarding display of the selected content items.

Abstract: A heat-assisted magnetic recording head includes a slider body having a waveguide that delivers light to a near-field transducer. The waveguide is optically coupled to an input coupler a of the slider body that receives the light. A laser diode is mounted on or in the slider body. The laser diode has an integral exit facet proximate the input coupler. The exit facet has a curved profile that modifies a shape of the light emitted from the exit facet into the input coupler.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to reducing the likelihood of injury to a passenger in a collision. In one example, a system for reducing the likelihood of a passenger submarining, may include a restraining device for restraining the passenger. A second restraining device for further restraining the passenger may also be included in the system. A locking mechanism may be configured to prevent a seat back from reclining when the second restraining device is not activated.

Abstract: An alternative polyurethane composition is provided comprising a reaction product of an azidated polyol and a poly(alkynyl carbamate) allophanate prepolymer, wherein the poly(alkynyl carbamate) allophanate prepolymer comprises a reaction product of a first alkynol and a poly(alkynyl carbamate) prepolymer, in the presence of a metallo-organic compound of the formula: M(acac)n, wherein, M=a metal, acac=an acetylacetonate residue, and n=2 or 3, wherein the poly(alkynyl carbamate) prepolymer comprises a reaction product of a polyisocyanate and a stoichiometric equivalent of a second alkynol, and wherein the polyisocyanate comprises isocyanate groups and uretdione groups. The inventive alternative polyurethane compositions may be used to provide solventborne or waterborne coatings, adhesives, sealants, films, elastomers, castings, foams, and composites.

Abstract: An electronic magazine loader for loading cartridges into a magazine includes a lifting wheel, a chute, and a magazine loading portion. The wheel receives an unordered batch of cartridges and singularly lifts and deposits the cartridges into the chute. The chute transfers the cartridges to the magazine loading portion where a setting mechanism inserts the cartridges into the magazine. A mechanism for directionally orienting the cartridges orients all cartridges to a proper directional orientation before reaching the magazine loading portion. The mechanism can be lifting wheel shelf structure or chute structure. The chute having a C-shaped portion above the magazine loading portion that precludes the cartridges from changing their proper directional orientation. The setting mechanism receives cartridges on a rotating wheel with rotating insertion lobes and cartridge receiving voids between adjacent lobes. The cartridges drop into a cartridge receiving void, and are urged into the magazine by a rotating lobe.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining route information at an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The route information indicates a plurality of zones between an origin and a destination and a corresponding set of mobile devices for each zone. The method includes receiving first control data at the UAV from a first mobile device while in a first zone of the plurality of zones. The first mobile device is included in a first set of mobile devices corresponding to the first zone. The method further includes receiving second control data at the UAV from a second mobile device while in a second zone of the plurality of zones. The second mobile device is included in a second set of mobile devices corresponding to the second zone.
