Abstract: A data processing system implements detecting that a first user device associated with a first user has added a first sponsored content item to a host electronic document by adding a first reference to the first sponsored content item to the host electronic document. The first sponsored content item is stored separately in a memory of a cloud-based service from the host electronic document. The data processing system further implements determining that the first user has permission to share the first sponsored content item with other users of the cloud-based service, generating sponsor information to associate the sponsored content item with the host electronic document to permit users having access to the host electronic document to access the sponsored content item, and storing the sponsor information in a sponsored access datastore.

Abstract: An art furniture system that provides a tabletop is provided. The tabletop includes an easel region, a first and a second stationary region. The easel region is hingedly attached to the first stationary region. The art furniture system also includes two side supports. A first side support is disposed under, and fixedly attached to, the first stationary region. A second side support is disposed under, and fixedly attached to, the second stationary region. When the easel region is undeployed, the easel region is located between the first stationary region and the second stationary region such that the two stationary regions and the easel region form a flat surface. When the easel region is fully deployed, it is disposed at an angle between 83° and 88°, and most preferably at angle of 86°, with respect to a plane formed by a top surface of the first and second stationary regions.

Abstract: A spacecraft trash disposal apparatus and method are disclosed. The spacecraft trash disposal apparatus includes an airlock, an inflatable trash enclosure holding trash, and a pressure regulating system. The spacecraft trash disposal apparatus permits wet and dry trash to be transported from the inside of a spacecraft via the inflatable trash enclosure holding the trash. The inflatable trash enclosure is ejected to the surrounding vacuum of space without causing trash or liquids to escape from the inflatable trash enclosure. The pressure regulating system permits reduction of pressure inside the inflatable trash enclosure from typically atmospheric to a lower pressure while the airlock is depressurizing without going to a full vacuum. This lower pressure is such that, at a given temperature, the liquid trash is prevented from boiling. The lower pressure permits a lightweight inflatable trash enclosure for low cost spacecraft trash disposal.

Abstract: A sensor system for a vehicle includes first and second sensors onboard different vehicles. The sensors sense one or more environmental parameters. A controller receives a first signal output by the first sensor that indicates a value of the one or more environmental parameters sensed by the first sensor. The controller may control operation of a power component of the first vehicle using the value of the one or more environmental parameters received from the first sensor. The controller may detect undesirable operation of the first sensor and transition to receiving a second signal output by the second sensor that indicates the value of the one or more environmental parameters. The controller may control the operation of the power component of the first vehicle using the value of the one or more environmental parameters received from the second sensor.

Abstract: Credentials management and usage in application modernization can be implemented as computer-readable methods, media and systems. A notification identifying an application modernization operation is received. The operation is to be performed on an application deployed by multiple resources arranged in multiple hierarchical levels. A resource residing at a hierarchical level of the multiple hierarchical levels is identified. The application modernization operation is to be performed on the identified resource which has a resource type. A search for a credential is performed. The credential grants access to the resource to enable performing the application modernization operation. In response to the searching, a credential included in the multiple credentials is identified. The identified credential grants access either to the resource or to resources of the resource type. In response to receiving the notification, the identified credential is provided.

Abstract: A lock may be acquired on a virtual memory of a target process, where the virtual memory of the target process may include import dependency data of a marker library. An injection driver may be executed within the context of the target process when the marker library is loaded by the target process, where executing the injection driver within the context of the target process may enable the injection driver to modify virtual memory tables within the target process. The import dependency data of the marker library may be modified by the injection driver to include an injection library as a dependency of the marker library. After the modified import dependency data is used to load the injection library into the target process, the modified import dependency data may be reverted to an original state.

Abstract: Provided are transaction cards with a reduced weight core. In some approaches, a transaction card may include a body having a first outer layer opposite a second outer layer, and a corrugated core between the first outer layer and the second outer layer, wherein the corrugated core comprises a plurality of alternating peaks and valleys coupled to the first outer layer and the second outer layer. The transaction card may further include an identification chip positioned through the first outer layer, wherein the identification chip is directly coupled to the corrugated core.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for capturing voice messages are provided. In one embodiment, a method can include receiving, by one or more processors of a mobile user device, a user input indicative of a voice message at a first time. The method can further include identifying contextual data indicative of one or more computing devices within proximity of the mobile user device. The method can include providing a set of data for storage in one or more memory devices of the mobile user device. The set of data can indicate the voice message and the contextual data indicative of the computing devices. The method can further include providing an output indicative of the voice message and the contextual data to one or more secure computing devices at a second time.

Abstract: The present invention provides target devices such as filter units with at least one receiving channel with a stop surface that is electrically conductive and at least one cable with a connector assembly on a first end portion. The connector assembly includes a first member with an open channel. The first member is coupled to the end portion of the outer conductor with the free end of the inner conductor and the end portion of the dielectric extending through the open channel to reside forward of the first member. The first member resides in a respective one of the at least one receiving channel against the stop surface. The connector assembly also includes second member with an open channel. The second member is slidably coupled to the first end portion of the at least one cable and presses the first member against the stop surface.

Abstract: In some implementations, a device may obtain deployment information, associated with a deployment of a first application, indicating first network resources to be associated with the deployment of the first application in a network. The device may obtain network usage information indicating second network resources associated with one or more second applications in the network, where the second network resources are associated with the first network resources in an infrastructure of the network. The device may detect, based on the first network resources, the second network resources, and the infrastructure, that a network resource conflict will occur if the first application is deployed using the first network resources, wherein the network resource conflict is associated with an impact to a performance of at least one application from the one or more second applications. The device may perform an action associated with the deployment of the first application.

Abstract: A bioreactor system includes a housing configured to house and support a vessel, a stereo camera having first and second imagers secured to the housing, the stereo camera configured to image a surface of a liquid and a foam exposed to a headspace of the vessel. The system further includes a controller operatively connected to the stereo camera and the stereo camera and controller are configured to create an image of the exposed surface and identify foam on the surface based on the image.

Abstract: Innovations in control and use of chroma quantization parameter (“QP”) values that depend on luma QP values. More generally, the innovations relate to control and use of QP values for a secondary color component that depend on QP values for a primary color component. For example, during encoding, an encoder determines a QP index from a primary component QP and secondary component QP offset. The encoder maps the QP index to a secondary component QP, which has an extended range. The encoder outputs at least part of a bitstream including the encoded content. A corresponding decoder receives at least part of a bitstream including encoded content. During decoding, the decoder determines a QP index from a primary component QP and secondary component QP offset, then maps the QP index to a secondary component QP, which has an extended range.

Abstract: A computer network device (such as an access point, a switch or a router) that has multiple user interfaces is described. During operation, the computer network device may execute program instructions for the user interfaces and a shared messaging module, where a given user interface includes an agent corresponding to an application. When a message associated with the application is received via a user interface in the user interfaces, the corresponding agent in the user interface may extract a command or operation from the message. Then, the shared messaging module may translate the command or operation into a common format of the application. Moreover, the shared messaging module may provide (or route) the translated command or operation addressed to the application via a single communication path associated with the application and the agents for the application in the user interfaces.

Abstract: A multi-unit abutment aligning a dental implant and a screw-attached prosthesis with copings is disclosed. The multi-unit abutment has a threaded base post for attachment to the implant and a ball portion. A swivel shell surrounds the ball and may be fixed in position with a lock screw. A drive feature on the ball allows a tool passing through the lock screw to drive the base post into the implant with the multi-unit assembly in a linear configuration. The swivel shell is then positioned and fixed at a desired tilt and azimuthal angle. The swivel shell has a mating surface for a coping. The lock screw remains accessible through an aperture in the coping when the prosthesis is positioned on the implant abutments. Different embodiments are disclosed for capturing the swivel shell on the ball. Methods for improving passive alignment of the prosthesis to the implants are described.

Abstract: A guard to protect a user while cutting food (“guard”) has an outer body, a plurality of sides, and at least one grip to securely hold a piece of food within the guard. A plate is secured to the bottom of the outer body to add a further layer of protection. It is preferred that the outer body of the guard is made of a flexible material so that the sides can flex inwardly to accommodate different sizes of food. A method for using the guard to cut food has the food being placed inside the guard, the user gripping the guard and flexing the sides inwardly so that the at least one grip forms a secure connection with the outer surface of the food, and cutting the food such that the plate adds a layer of protection between the cutting instrument and the user.
