Abstract: Provided herein are compositions comprising at least one estolide compound of formula: in which n is an integer equal to or greater than 0; m is an integer equal to or greater than 1; R1, independently for each occurrence, is selected from optionally substituted alkyl that is saturated or unsaturated, and branched or unbranched; R2 is selected from hydrogen and optionally substituted alkyl that is saturated or unsaturated, and branched or unbranched; and R3 and R4, independently for each occurrence, are selected from optionally substituted alkyl that is saturated or unsaturated, and branched or unbranched. Also provided are uses of the compositions described herein.

Abstract: A method is executed by an electronic device in a video streaming system including a macroblock detector. The method includes receiving a video stream from a video source, selecting a frame from the video stream, detecting edges in the frame of the video stream, generating straight lines from detected edges in the frame of the video stream, identifying squares in the straight lines in the frame with polygon approximation, and outputting an indication of a detected macroblock in the image in response to identifying at least one square with characteristics of a macroblock in the frame.

Abstract: One example provides a computing device configured to capture, via the camera, first image data imaging a first physical world location, create a first spatial representation of the first physical world location based on the first image data, receive a user input defining a pose of a first virtual spatial anchor point relative to a feature imaged in the first image data, track user movement to a second physical world location, capture second image data imaging the second physical world location, receive a user input defining a pose of a second virtual spatial anchor point relative to a feature imaged in the second image data, and send, to a remote computing device, data representing the first spatial representation, the pose of first spatial anchor point, the second spatial representation, the pose of second spatial anchor point, and a positional relationship between first and second spatial anchor points.

Abstract: A process for heat treating biological tissue includes providing a plurality of energy emitters formed into an array. Treatment energy in the form of light beams is generated from the plurality of emitters and applied to target tissue. The treatment energy has energy and application parameters selected so as to raise the target tissue temperature sufficiently to create a therapeutic effect while maintaining an average temperature of the target tissue over several minutes at or below a predetermined temperature so as not to destroy or permanently damage the target tissue.

Abstract: In one example embodiment, disclosed is a biaxially oriented multilayer film, which may include a first tie layer and a second tie layer, wherein each has an inside surface and an outside surface. The film's core layer may consist of: (i) at least 50 wt. % high-crystalline polypropylene; (ii) both cyclic olefin copolymer and polypropylene homopolymer, or, polypropylene heterophasic copolymer; (iii) and, optionally, additives, wherein the core layer is between the inside surface of the first tie layer and the inside surface of the second tie layer. The film may also include a first skin layer on the outside surface of the first tie layer and a second skin layer on the outside surface of the second tie layer, wherein shrinkage is less than 3.5% in a transverse direction for the biaxially oriented multilayer film after subjecting the biaxially oriented multilayer film to 135° C. for 7 min at 1 atm.

Abstract: A system and method described below prevents exploitation of a client's PKI station using the a token installed on other host (attackers') processors. This is accomplished by binding the token to the approved PKI client station (host) using the a software development kit installed in the PKI client station. Once a token is bound to a PKI client station, the token can no longer be used on another station unless permitted by authorized personnel.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for improving the provision of a procedure based upon automated determination of a location of agents and equipment during a procedure and quantifying conditions in an environment via automated sensors. The present invention provides apparatus and methods for wireless designation of a position of health care providers and equipment relative to each other based upon wireless communications amongst multiple wireless transceivers combined with ongoing monitoring of conditions present in a facility. The transceivers may be portions of nodes and nodes may form self-verifying arrays. A user interface may provide a augmented reality view of positions of all or some the providers and equipment and condition quantifying sensors.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method including retrieving information of aggregate amounts sponsored for a particular sports team from a plurality of sports teams, determining the amount allocated to a sports team participant by the participant's position for a particular team, detecting that a particular team participant has completed one or more specified commitments, determining, based upon whether the team participant has completed said specified commitments, the portion of the aggregate amount sponsored for a particular sports team that is paid to the particular team participant based on the participant's position; and causing a monetary disbursement to the particular team participant.

Abstract: A cluster connector and cluster port for simultaneously engaging multiple RF connectors with a corresponding plurality of RF ports, wherein the cluster port may be coupled to an RF antenna or radio. The cluster port has a plurality of receiving interfaces wherein each of the receiving interfaces has an axial biasing element that enables simultaneous connection with a plurality of coupling interfaces, wherein each of the coupling interfaces is coupled to the end of an RF cable. The cluster connector of the disclosure also enables selective removal, replacement of one RF cable, and the corresponding coupling interface, without impacting other cables/coupling interfaces.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for predicting a defect within a computer program comprising: accessing a code base of the computer program, the code base of the computer program comprising a plurality of computer program files; training the defect prediction system, the training including performing a historical analysis of defect occurrence patterns in the code base of the computer program; analyzing a commit of the computer program to identify a likelihood of defect occurrence within each of the plurality of files of the computer program; and, calculating a defect prediction metric for each of the plurality of files of the computer program, the defect prediction metric providing an objective measure of defect prediction for each of the plurality of files of the computer program.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include systems and methods for executing a point of sale deposit. In one embodiment, a system may include one or more memory devices storing software instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the software instructions to receive transaction information related to a point of sale deposit from a client device, and generate a pending deposit transaction based on the transaction information. The one or more processors may be further configured to execute the software instructions to receive a first transaction token from the client device, receive a second transaction token from a third-party device, match the first transaction token to the second transaction token, and complete the pending deposit transaction based on the match.

Abstract: Systems and methods for maintaining session identifiers across multiple webpages for content selection are described herein. A server can generate a session identifier corresponding to the client device for use in selecting content to be served across the information resources of a content publisher. The server can then receive, from the client device, a request for instructions to insert into a header of an information resource for selecting a content provider. The server can determine that the request includes the session identifier that matches the one generated for a previous request. The server can obtain a parameter value for each content provider with the session identifier. The server can select a content provider using the parameter values. The server can provide a script to the client device for the header. The script can be configured to cause the client device to obtain a content item from the selected content provider to insert into the information resource.

The chemical injection tubing includes a terminal end portion. A chemical introduction system is arranged at the first system and is fluidically connected to the chemical injection tubing. The chemical introduction system is operable to deliver a chemical into the chemical injection tubing. A chemical injector assembly is mounted to the terminal end portion. The chemical injection system includes an anchor and a chemical injector valve.

The resin composition may have an endothermic peak at 120 to 170° C. in differential scanning calorimetry and a heat of fusion in a range of from 15 to 40 mJ/mg at 120 to 170° C.

Abstract: An e-vapor device may include a reservoir, a heater, and a bimetallic actuator. The reservoir is configured to hold a pre-vapor formulation. The reservoir defines an outlet configured to release the pre-vapor formulation therefrom. The heater is configured to heat the pre-vapor formulation released from the reservoir to generate a vapor. The bimetallic actuator may be configured to seal the outlet of the reservoir when vaping is not occurring and configured to unseal the outlet when vaping is occurring.

Abstract: Vehicle safety devices and seam tapes for use in safety airbags along with their methods of formation and use are provided. The vehicle safety device can comprise an airbag and a pyrotechnic device positioned within working proximity to an aperture defined in the airbag and configured to fill the interior space of the airbag with a gas upon ignition. The vehicle safety device can also comprise a seam tape positioned over the seam joining a first fabric section and a second fabric section of the airbag. The seam tape can be configured to melt enough to flow into the needle puncture holes formed along the seam upon ignition of the pyrotechnic device.
