Abstract: A method and system for monitoring a location via a called telephony communication device is disclosed. The method at the called telephony communication device includes receiving a request from a calling telephony communication device. Further, the method includes determining whether the received request is for monitoring the location. The method further includes automatically transmitting audio/video data captured via the called telephony communication device to the calling telephony communication device when the received request is determined to be one for monitoring the location.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and an apparatus for video encoding/decoding. The apparatus includes processing circuitry that decodes coded information of a coding unit (CU) from a coded video bitstream. The coded information indicates a last position of non-zero transform coefficients of a first coding block (CB) of the CU. The processing circuitry determines whether a secondary transform index is signaled in the coded information based on the last position and whether to perform a secondary transform on a second CB based on whether the secondary transform index is determined to be signaled in the coded information. When the secondary transform is determined to be performed, the processing circuitry performs the secondary transform on the second CB and reconstructs the second CB. Responsive to the secondary transform being determined not to be performed, the processing circuitry reconstructs the second CB without performing the secondary transform on the second CB.

One system includes at least one electronic processor configured to access data representing historical tasks performed by a user through at least one user device, determine, based on the data, a first plurality of tasks associated with a life event of the user, and store an association between the first plurality of tasks and the life event. The electronic processor is also configured to, in response to a current occurrence of the life event experienced by the user, retrieve the association and generate a user interface for display to the user, the user interface including a second plurality of tasks for addressing the current occurrence of the life event based on the first plurality of tasks.

The drive wheel assembly comprises one or more wheels and a deployment mechanism secured to the one or more wheels. An actuating member actuates the drive wheel assembly between a stowed configuration and one or more deployed configurations. In the stowed configuration, the drive wheel assembly is housed entirely within the outer container. Abstract: A method is provided for coordinating preparation of video-on-demand (VOD) products that are to be delivered as adaptive-bit-rate (ABR) video streams. In the method, actual start and actual stop times are received from a video product generator for each of a plurality of VOD products processed by the video product generator. The video product generator is configured to create VOD products in video transport streams from source assets. Responsive to receipt of the start and stop times, a transcoder is instructed to insert into a video transport stream for each of the VOD products encoder boundary points and IDR frames at specified times in each of the VOD products. The specified times include offset start and offset stop times of each of the VOD products.

Abstract: High quality, catalyst-free boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) that are long, flexible, have few wall molecules and few defects in the crystalline structure, can be efficiently produced by a process driven primarily by Direct Induction. Secondary Direct Induction coils, Direct Current heaters, lasers, and electric arcs can provide additional heating to tailor the processes and enhance the quality of the BNNTs while reducing impurities. Heating the initial boron feed stock to temperatures causing it to act as an electrical conductor can be achieved by including refractory metals in the initial boron feed stock, and providing additional heat via lasers or electric arcs. Direct Induction processes may be energy efficient and sustainable for indefinite period of time. Careful heat and gas flow profile management may be used to enhance production of high quality BNNT at significant production rates.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and pharmaceutical compositions for treating ulcerative colitis (UC) in a subject in need thereof. In particular, the compositions described here comprise or are designed based on fecal bacteria associated with FMT-based UC treatment success or failure. Also provided are methods for screening patients for their suitability for a fecal bacteria-based UC treatment. Further provided are methods for screening fecal donors for optimized source materials for producing a fecal bacteria-based pharmaceutical composition.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for emissions control of a vehicle. In one example, a catalyst may include a cerium-based support material and a transition metal catalyst loaded on the support material, the transition metal catalyst including nickel and copper, wherein nickel in the transition metal catalyst is included in a monatomic layer loaded on the support material. In some examples, limiting nickel to the monatomic layer may mitigate extensive transition metal catalyst degradation ascribed to sintering of thicker nickel washcoat layers. Further, by utilizing the cerium-based support material, side reactions involving nickel in the transition metal catalyst with other support materials may be prevented.

Abstract: A communication device, method and computer program product enable improved communication performance by switching or tuning antennas based on detecting touches on edge display(s) of the communication device that has at least one antenna positioned along edges of a housing assembly. Abstract: The systems and methods of aggregate signing of digital signatures on multiple messages simultaneously, comprising: receiving two or more digital messages wherein each message is signed using two or more digitally split keys from a private key and the two or more digital signatures of the message using the split key are combined to get a compressed short signature; receiving the compressed short signature for each message; receiving a public key associated with the private key for each message; aggregate signing the messages to output an aggregate signature. Abstract: Implementations are described herein for generating embeddings of source code using both the language and graph domains, and leveraging combinations of these semantically-rich and structurally-informative embeddings for various purposes. In various implementations, tokens of a source code snippet may be applied as input across a sequence-processing machine learning model to generate a plurality of token embeddings. A graph may also be generated based on the source code snippet. A joint representation may be generated based on the graph and the incorporated token embeddings. The joint representation generated from the source code snippet may be compared to one or more other joint representations generated from one or more other source code snippets to make a determination about the source code snippet.

Abstract: To better understand the impact that meals have on the blood glucose level, some individuals with diabetes have begun recording meals consumed over time. However, the relationship between meals consumed by an individual and the glycemic health state of the individual has been difficult to understand. Introduced here are computer programs and associated computer-implemented techniques for utilizing information regarding the meals consumed by an individual to manage the blood glucose level of the individual in a personalized manner. By consistently and properly attributing physiological responses represented as excursions in blood glucose measurements to meals, the relationship between these meals and the glycemic health state can be better understood. For example, by examining this relationship, a diabetes management platform may be able to identify appropriate recommendations for monitoring, managing, and/or improving the glycemic health state of an individual.

The method includes performing an optical center measurement for at least one of the first lens or the second lens, and performing an optical center adjustment when the optical center measurement does not satisfy a predetermined optical center condition. The method also includes performing a polarimetric measurement for at least one of the first lens or the second lens, and performing a polarimetric angle adjustment when the polarimetric measurement does not satisfy a predetermined polarimetric condition. The method further includes assembling the first lens and the second lens to form an optical assembly.
