Abstract: A computer-implemented method for providing personalized purchasing information to a user may include: obtaining first identification data of the user from a first engine; verifying a registration status of the user based on the first identification data; obtaining second identification data of the user from a second engine based on the registration status of the user; comparing the first identification data of the user and the second identification data of the user; initiating a real-time credit monitoring session based on the comparison between the first identification data of the user and the second identification data of the user; generating the personalized purchasing information of the user based on the real-time credit score of the user; and demonstrating the personalized purchasing information on a display of a device associated with the user.

Abstract: Systems and devices for the evaluation and analysis of computing system data for anomaly detection and processing are disclosed. In an example, operations to detect anomalies include: obtaining a source event stream of data produced from operation of a computing system; converting the source event stream into a frequency signal; identifying an estimated seasonality from the frequency signal; scaling the estimated seasonality to a target event stream produced from operation of the computing system; identifying anomalies of a principal vector of the target event stream, based on deviation from the estimated seasonality; and causing the computing system to perform an action based on the identified anomalies. In a further example, the operations include scaling the estimated seasonality to a subset of the target event stream indicating minor vectors; and identifying anomalies of the minor vectors, based on deviation of the subset of data from the estimated seasonality.

The system receives a request for the electronic document and provides it to a viewer component on a client computing device. The viewer component loads the electronic document in an iframe. The viewer component executes a runtime component to receive, via a secure communication channel, a tag from the electronic document. The system receives the tag and selects a data value for transmission to the viewer component. The viewer components provides the data value to cause the runtime component to execute an action with the data value.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an electrosurgical device. The electrosurgical device includes an electrode having a first portion whose exterior is electrically uninsulated, a second portion whose exterior is electrically insulated, and a third portion. The device includes an elongated hollow body formed by a first member and a second member. The second member is capable of rotating relative to the first member. The hollow body has an internal cavity, a front end, a rear end, an external surface, and an electrical wire arranged within the body. The hollow body is configured to reversibly receive the third portion of the electrode at the front end of the body such that electrical contact is made between the electrode and the electrical wire and the second portion of the electrode is not surrounded by the hollow body. The device includes a first button, a vacuum tube and a vacuum outlet.

Abstract: Reporting time progress for written events on a stream is disclosed. The system comprises operations for obtaining time report information comprising respective timestamp information and respective positional offset information for respective writers with respect to events written to a stream by the respective writers. The operations further comprise aggregating the time report information and determining a lowerbound, e.g., a minimum timestamp before which new events to be written by the stream storage system will no longer arrive, and determining an upperbound, e.g., a stream offset representative of an overall offset of the events written thus far in the stream. The operations further comprise storing the minimum timestamp and the stream offset in a data structure for the events written thus far.

Abstract: An object redirection mechanism for a conveying system is provided. The object redirection mechanism is configured to redirect an object moved by the conveying system from a first direction to a second direction. The object redirection mechanism includes an arm tunnel positioned proximate an end of a conveyor configured for moving an object in the first direction. The arm tunnel includes an object stop having an object stopping portion defining at least a first side of the arm tunnel at least substantially parallel with the second direction and configured to engage an object moving in the first direction. The object stopping portion defines at least one finger aperture to enable at least one of the rotationally-retractable fingers to, when aligned with the at least one finger aperture, rotate between a retracted configuration and an extended configuration. A corresponding object conveying system and method of assembling an object stop are provided.

Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards creating snapshot change lists that describe differences between snapshots that capture file system states at different times. Also described is the use of snapshot change lists for updating an index that represents the objects in the file system at a given time. Data services jobs may be run against the index to select files, instead of running the jobs against the actual file system namespace, which is typically far more efficient when dealing with large file system namespaces.

Abstract: Generally discussed herein are devices, systems, and methods for computer or other network device security. A method can include identifying a profile associated with event data regarding an operation performed on a cloud resource, determining whether the event data is associated with anomalous customer interaction with the cloud resource, in response to determining the event data is associated with anomalous customer interaction, identifying whether another cloud resource of the cloud resources with a lower granularity profile that is associated with the profile of the cloud resource has previously been determined to be a target of an anomalous operation, and providing a single alert to a client device indicating the anomalous behavior on the cloud resource in response to determining both the event data is associated with anomalous customer interaction and the another cloud resource is determined to be the target of the anomalous operation.

Abstract: User-submitted content (e.g., stories) may be associated with descriptive metadata (intersection metadata), such as a timeframe, location, tags, and so on. The user-submitted content may be browed and/or searched using the descriptive metadata. Intersection criteria comprising a prevailing timeframe, a location, and/or other metadata criteria may be used to identify an intersection space comprising one or more stories. The stories may be ordered according to relative importance, which may be determined (at least in part) by comparing story metadata to the intersection criteria.

Abstract: A system for contraband device identification and alerting is disclosed. The system comprises a wireless signal detection system configured to identify signals from an unauthorized wireless device, and an alert module configured to generate notifications when an unauthorized wireless device is detected. The unauthorized wireless device is operating within a designated or controlled area. The designated area may overlap a controlled-environment facility and the wireless device is contraband within the controlled-environment facility. The alerting system may include a speaker, wherein the notifications comprise an audible message broadcast via the speaker. The alerting system may include one or more lights, wherein the notifications comprise illuminating the light. The notifications may also comprise one or more of a call, email, audible or visual alert, vibration and text that are sent to a designated individual.

A method of making a connection between lines in a well can include installing a connector assembly, then installing another connector assembly, each connector assembly including a connector and an alignment profile, then axially compressing the connector assemblies, thereby opening protective barriers for the respective connectors, operatively connecting the connectors, and engaging the alignment profiles, thereby maintaining rotational alignment of the connectors.

Abstract: Described is an optical fingerprint system with varying integration times across pixels. A sensor selects blocks of pixels contacted or covered by an input to a region of a display. While a matcher attempts to authenticate the input with first blocks of pixels captured by the sensor, the sensor captures additional blocks of pixels for subsequent authentication if the first blocks fail. With more time to integrate the light reflected off the input, each additional block of pixels include more detail than previously captured blocks. If authentication fails based on the first blocks, the matcher can reattempt authentication using the additional blocks without delay. Repeating this process enables the system to authenticate input using very large or high-resolution images while minimizing latency and power consumed to authenticate the input.

Abstract: A method for evaluating effective product visibility in a physical shopping environment including multiple products is provided. The method includes, in a data capture phase, counting a total number of shoppers for a period of time. For a first sample of shoppers, trip length is monitored to determine an average trip length. A second sample of shoppers is audited, and a viewing vector of audited shoppers is determined at each display visited. Displays visited are assigned at least one product category. In a following product category visibility analysis phase, from a total number of shoppers and the average trip length, the total shopping time for the physical shopping environment is calculated. The total shopping time is allocated to each viewing vector of audited shoppers to determine allocated time. From allocated time and the viewing vectors, an exposure value of the product category is determined. Non-display exposure values are also determinable.
