Abstract: An electrified vehicle includes a traction battery that is operated according to a state of charge of the traction battery. A controller is programmed to operate the traction battery according to the state of charge of the traction battery and, in response to completion of a charge cycle of the traction battery, generates an adaptive relaxation time and an adaptive compensation voltage of the state of charge that changes with a temperature and a charge rate of the traction battery. The controller is further programmed to, in response to expiration of the adaptive relaxation time after completion of the charge cycle, update the state of charge to a value corresponding to a voltage defined by a difference between a measured voltage of the traction battery and the adaptive compensation voltage.
Abstract: An inhalant dispensing system is provided, comprising an inhalant delivery apparatus having a main body, a lower body coupled to the main body and comprising a mouthpiece, and an inhalant delivery mechanism disposed within the main body and configured to deliver an aerosolized solution to the mouthpiece for user inhalation; and a lock out system configured to selectively prevent delivery of the aerosolized solution to the mouthpiece. The inhalant delivery apparatus may be assembled by inserting a portion of the inhalant delivery mechanism into the main body. The lower body may be rotatably coupled to the main body and moveable between a dispensing position and a storage position. The system may be used to control and monitor dosages of a solution contained within a smart canister and administered from the canister via an inhaler, to prevent accidental or unwanted usage of the canister and/or over-dosing.

Abstract: Single injection methods for obtaining conductance measurements within luminal organs using impedance devices. In at least one method embodiment, the method is performed by introducing at least part of an impedance device into a mammalian luminal organ, the impedance device comprising an elongated body and a detector positioned along the elongated body, obtaining conductance measurements indicative of a fluid native to the mammalian luminal organ and indicative of a fluid injection while the detector is present within and outside of the lumen of the outer sheath, and calculating a size parameter of the mammalian luminal organ based in part upon some of the obtained conductance measurements.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to processing operations configured to tailor notifications of productivity feature suggestions based on predictive relevance to a context associate with user access to an electronic document. Machine learning modeling executes a contextual evaluation of user access to predictively determine relevance of a suggestion that relates to: 1) a confidence in the quality of the suggestion; and 2) a timing prediction as to the urgency for surfacing the suggestion to the user so that the suggestion is most applicable. Example notifications are proactive interruptions that aim to aid processing efficiency in task execution as well as an improve user interface experience when users work with an application/service and/or an application platform that comprises a suite of applications/services. A manner in which the notification is presented may vary based on the confidence in the relevance of the suggestion and timing relevance for interrupting a user's workflow.

Abstract: A UTV double row tapered wheel bearing assembly may include a first inner diameter race, a second inner diameter race axially offset from the first inner diameter race, and an outer diameter race radially offset from the first inner diameter race and the second inner diameter race, the outer diameter race formed as a single integral member. A first ring of rollers may be disposed between the outer diameter race and the first inner diameter race. A second ring of rollers may be disposed between the outer diameter race and the second inner diameter race. A first shield may be coupled to a first axial face of the bearing, and a second shield may be coupled to the second axial face of the bearing.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for decoding multiple semantically independent picture parts into a single video picture includes decoding unique picture order count values for each coded picture, coded slice, or coded tile in a coded video sequence, with multiple decoded pictures, cycles, and tiles belonging to a same access unit representing a frame of the video. A value representing the amount of pictures, cycles, or tiles, is then assigned to each access unit for assigning sequential access unit count values to the access units. As a result, each access unit, which represents multiple pictures, slices, or tiles to be combined into a single frame, is decoded for display processing.

Abstract: A device receives a communication associated with a support issue encountered by a user, and receives information identifying one or more self-support actions performed by the user in relation to the support issue. The device assigns the communication to a position in a support queue. The support queue includes information identifying positions of other communications received from other users, when the other communications are received, and self-support actions performed by the other users. The device associates the information identifying the one or more self-support actions with information identifying the position of the communication, and applies respective weights to the one or more self-support actions. The device generates a score for the communication based on applying the respective weights, and modifies the position of the communication based on the score. The device performs one or more actions based on modifying the position of the communication.

Abstract: Selective validation of subgroups of users against group rule parameters is performed to validate group rule parameters for a dynamic group rule. An administrator defines the group rule parameters and selects individual user accounts which are either expected to be included within and/or excluded from a full membership list for the dynamic group rule. For example, the administrator may select first user accounts that are expected to be included within the full membership list and/or second user accounts that are expected to be excluded from the full membership list. Then, a subgroup validation report is generated to inform the administrator whether or not individual user accounts from the subgroup of user accounts satisfy the group rule parameters and, therefore, will be included within the full membership list of the dynamic group rule. The subgroup validation report reveals the efficacy of the group rule parameters.

Abstract: Techniques for processing metadata (MD) may include: determining, in accordance with one or more criteria, a plurality of MD blocks that are similar and expected to have matching corresponding portions of MD in at least some of the plurality of MD blocks; forming a MD superblock including the plurality of MD blocks; filtering the MD superblock and generating a filtered MD superblock, wherein said filtering includes rearranging content of the MD superblock so that a first plurality of MD portions that are similar are grouped together in the filtered MD superblock, wherein at least some of the first plurality of MD portions that are similar are expected to match; and compressing the filtered MD superblock and generating a compressed filtered MD superblock. Filtering may include performing a bitshuffle algorithm that includes performing a bitwise transpose of a matrix of the MD blocks in the MD superblock.
Abstract: A technique involves: in response to establishing a stripe in a Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID), generating first mapping information of the stripe in a block allocated for the stripe, the RAID being built based on extents obtained by dividing disks, the stripe including a first extent set, the first mapping information recording respective disk locations of the first extent set; in response to a failure occurring in a first disk where a first extent in the first extent set is located, replacing the first extent with a second extent to obtain a second extent set corresponding to the stripe; generating second mapping information of the stripe in the block, to record respective disk locations of the second extent set; and in response to the first disk being recovered from the failure, restoring data in the stripe based on the first mapping information and the second mapping information.
