Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for operating a PoE and PoDL hub is provided. The method comprises: ascertaining if an Ethernet connection has been formed with an operating device with the PoE and PoDL hub; if no Ethernet connection has been formed, then sensing whether the operating device is an Ethernet powered device; if the operating device is an Ethernet powered device, then providing power to the operating device; if the operating device is determined not to be an Ethernet powered device, then sensing whether the operating device is a PoDL device; and if the operating device is a PoDL device, then providing power to the operating device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer-readable media, for location management for satellite systems. In some implementations, a controller of a satellite network system receives location data from a user terminal and registers the user terminal in a mobility area with a core network. The controller updates a mapping between satellite beams and mobility areas as the satellite beams move along the ground with respect to the mobility areas, then uses the updated mapping to communicate with the user terminal using an appropriate satellite beam. Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of adjusting a notch frequency of an adaptive notch filter (“filter”) to track a resonant frequency of a slow scan MEMS mirror (“mirror”). For instance, an adaptive feedback may be configured to determine one or more resonant frequencies of the mirror based at least in part on a frequency response of an output signal that is proportional to movement of the mirror. The adaptive feedback may be further configured to adjust at least one notch frequency of the filter to track at least one respective resonant frequency of the mirror. The filter may be configured to modify a magnitude of a frequency response of a combination of the filter and the mirror to be substantially constant by suppressing the at least one notch frequency in a frequency response of the mirror.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the production of a non-transgenic plant resistant or tolerant to a herbicide of the phosphonomethylglycine family, e.g., glyphosate. The present invention also relates to the use of a recombinagenic oligonucleobase to make a desired mutation in the chromosomal or episomal sequences of a plant in the gene encoding for 5-enol pyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS). The mutated protein, which substantially maintains the catalytic activity of the wild-type protein, allows for increased resistance or tolerance of the plant to a herbicide of the phosphonomethylglycine family, and allows for the substantially normal growth or development of the plant, its organs, tissues or cells as compared to the wild-type plant irrespective of the presence or absence of the herbicide.

Abstract: Utilizing diffgrams for trace indexing and replay. A subset of instructions of a trace, beginning with a first instruction and ending with a second instruction, are replayed to obtain state of one or more named resources. Based on replaying the subset of instructions, a diffgram is generated, which is structured such that addition of the diffgram at the first instruction brings the one or more named resources to the second state, and subtraction of the diffgram at the second instruction brings the one or more named resource to the first state. A pat of reaching a target instruction, the diffgram is later added at the first instruction to restore the second state at the second instruction, or subtracted at the second instruction to restore the first state of the first instruction.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for media decoding by a decoder include decoding a first indication indicative of a first conformance point of a coded video sequence. A second indication indicative of a second conformance point of the coded video sequence is decoded. It is determined whether the coded video sequence is decodable by the decoder based on at least one of the first indication and the second indication. The coded video sequence is selectively decoded based on determining whether the decoded video sequence is decodable by the decoder.
