Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for providing data operations using hard links (hard link operations) for files in a file system are provided. Accessing files using hard link operations is based on File_Name-to-File_ID mappings and File_ID-to-File_Object mappings stored in hard link data structures. In operation, a file name for file content is received to perform a data operation. The file content is accessed using the file name. The file name is associated with a hard link data structure having a File_Name-to-File_ID mapping and a File_ID-to-File_Object mapping. The file name is also associated with an alternate file name for the file content. The alternate file name is associated with an alternate hard link data structure having an alternate File_Name-to-File mapping and the File_ID-to-File_Object mapping. The alternate file name is received. The file content is accessed using the alternate file name to perform an alternate data operation on the file content.
Abstract: An automobile dealer referral and rewards service allows users to recommend automobile dealers to one another through referral links. If the referral ends up buying an automobile from the dealer, the referring user receives a monetary reward through the system, which is paid for by the dealer who received the referral and made the purchase.
Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for providing variable bitrate content (e.g., video content, audio content, multimedia content, etc.). The content may comprise a plurality of portions (e.g., frames, segments, fragments, etc.). Each portion of the content may be tagged and/or associated with a content element. A content element may be associated with and/or indicate one or more of an encoding parameter associated with a respective portion of the content, attributes of the content (e.g., a scene transition, scene change, etc.) associated with the respective portion of the content, or additional content related items (e.g., one or more advertisements, etc.) associated with the respective portion of the content. The content element may be used to determine a bitrate to associate with the respective portion of the content. The content may be received/retrieved according to the determined bitrates.
Abstract: The invention provides a compound of formula 1 or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof, that is useful as a JAK inhibitor. The invention also provides crystalline forms of the compound, pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compound, methods of using the compound to treat diseases amenable to a JAK inhibitor, and processes and intermediates useful for preparing the compound.

Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a composite material including about 10 to 80 wt. % of a polymer phase, the polymer phase comprising a thermoplastic polymer with a density of less than about 1.9 g-m-2; and about 20 to 90 wt. % of a dispersed mixed particulate phase, the dispersed mixed particulate phase comprising a mixed particulate and about 0.005 to 8 wt. % of a coating of at least one interfacial modifier. The mixed particulate including a portion of a reinforcing fiber and a portion of a particle. The composite material having a Young's modulus of greater than 700 MPa. In various embodiments, structural building components made from the composite are included as well as additive manufacturing components made from the composite. Other embodiments are also included herein.
Abstract: A piezoelectric MEMS scanning mirror system is provided. In particular, the efficiency and life of the system are improved by use of new bonding methods. Mechanical and electrical connections between the actuator frame of a piezoelectric MEMS scanning mirror system and the piezoelectric actuators in the system may be created using an anisotropic conductive adhesive. An anisotropic conductive adhesive only conducts electricity across the bond line between a lower portion of the piezoelectric actuator and a top of the metal frame. One way this is done is to provide a sparse loading of conductive particles. When the piezoelectric element is compressed against the frame, the conductive particles only form a conductive path across the bond line. Grit blasting, sanding, or chemical etching may be used to roughen the metal surface prior to bonding. A surface roughness between 2 RMS and 6 RMS may be created on the metal frame.

Abstract: A vehicle cross member has a beam with an overall U-shape cross-section. A pair of legs are connected, via rounded portions, with a web. A series of aperture is formed on the legs along a longitudinal axis of the beam. A flange is formed at a free end of the legs. The flange enables securement of the beam with a vehicle. The legs are angled with respect to one another so that the web has a width less than a width of the beam at the flange. The web has an arcuate portion along the longitudinal axis of the beam aligned with the series of apertures in the legs.
