  • Patent number: 11153597
Abstract: In a method for video decoding in a decoder, a first motion vector and a second motion vector for a first block in a current picture are received. The first motion vector is indicative of a first reference block in a first picture, and the second motion vector is indicative of a second reference block in a second picture. A bilateral template is generated based on a weighted combination of the first reference block and the second reference block. A refined first motion vector and a refined second motion vector are determined based on the bilateral template, reference blocks in the first picture and reference blocks in the second picture respectively. An initial motion vector of a second block that is coded after the first block is determined according to at least one of the first motion vector and the second motion vector for the first block.

  • Patent number: 11147429
Abstract: The spray mop includes a handle having a mop head at its lower end and a grip at its upper end. The mop includes a receiver adapted to hold an inverted bottle of cleaning solution, as sold at retail with an attached sprayer. The mop includes an adapter that is screwed onto the bottle of cleaning solution after the original sprayer is removed, whereby the bottle of cleaning solution can be inverted and inserted into the receiver. A spring-loaded retainer securely holds the bottle of cleaning solution in the receiver so that if the mop is dropped, inverted, or bumped there will be no leakage, while a trigger on a handgrip at the upper portion of the mop handle activates a valve in the adapter whereby cleaning solution is dispensed through a spray nozzle at the lower portion of the receiver.

  • Patent number: 11147360
Abstract: In embodiments, a belt clamp includes an inboard plate and an outboard plate that are pivotally coupled at their upper ends. The belt clamp may also include a spring biased locking mechanism that selectively and releasably connects the lower end of the inboard plate to the lower end of the outboard plate by way of locking posts in the inboard plate that are displaced upwardly from the lower edge of said plate. The outboard locking plate may have latch members that are entirely contained (except for opposing actuation buttons) within a compartment formed by two portions of the outboard plate connected by a living hinge. The opposing actuation buttons require a motion in a first direction, such as upwardly, to allow motion in a second direction, such as inwardly, to rotate the latching members inwardly to release the locking posts.

  • Patent number: 11152284
Abstract: An alternating stack of insulating layers and sacrificial material layers is formed over a substrate. Memory stack structures extending through the alternating stack are formed. A backside trench is formed through the alternating stack. The sacrificial material layers are replaced with electrically conductive layers. An insulating spacer and the backside contact via structure are formed within the backside trench. A dielectric isolation trench is formed by removing a peripheral portion of an upper region of the backside contact via structure and an upper portion of the insulating spacer. A dielectric isolation spacer is formed in the dielectric isolation trench to prevent an electrical short between an upper portion of the backside contact via structure and the electrically conductive layers.

  • Patent number: 11153952
Abstract: A system including a controllable device configured to provide a premises related service in an area of a premises. The system includes an electroencephalography (EEG) device configured to be positioned with respect to a head of a user and process signals detected in real-time. The system also includes a processor in communication with the EEG device, a memory accessible by the processor and instructions stored in the memory for execution by the processor. A data is stored in the memory that associates each of a plurality of predetermined sets of signals from the brain detected via the EEG device with at least one control instruction. The execution of the instructions configures the processor to using the stored data, analyze the real-time detected signals to determine that the real-time detected signals correspond to one of the plurality of predetermined set of signals associated with the one control instruction and generate a control data signal based on the one control instruction.

  • Patent number: 11151082
Abstract: Cancelling file system operations at a file system client of a distributed file system is disclosed. In various embodiments, an indication is received to send locally-stored file system operations to a remote file system metadata server. A dependency graph or other data structure reflecting dependencies between the locally-stored file system operations is used to identify a set of locally-stored file system operations the members of which are fully dominated by a create-delete pair of operations comprising the set. The locally-stored file system operations comprising the set are cancelled, without being sent to the remote file system metadata server.

  • Patent number: 11151273
Abstract: A server kernel processing system receives an input/output (I/O) request from a user mode computing environment. The I/O request is analyzed to determine whether it is a file open request. If so, target analysis logic determines whether the file open request is for a driver file or for a file within a protected volume that stores a driven whitelist file. If the file open request is for a file stored in a protected volume, the request is blocked. If the file open request is for a driver file, then the driver whitelist file is examined to determine whether the target driver is on the whitelist. If not, the file open request is also blocked.

  • Patent number: 11151078
Abstract: Structured data archival with reduced downtime is disclosed. One example is a system including a deployer that manages an active table (AT), and a non-active table (NAT), and creates an intermediate table (IT) to record, during data archival, changes to the data to be archived. The deployer creates triggers on the AT and the NAT to facilitate the record, by the IT, of the changes to the data to be archived. An archiver initiates the data archival by archiving the copy of the data to be archived from the NAT, merges the recorded data from the IT to the NAT upon receiving an indication that the client access to the AT is not enabled, and switches the client access from the AT to the NAT by changing a table synonym, where the client access to the NAT is enabled upon completion of the data archival.
