  • Patent number: 11151223
Abstract: A system for lifecycle tracking of drugs provides for medical pumps to provide end of delivery cycle recording of the disposition of drugs, both for drugs that are administered by pump and those administered manually. By introducing drug dispensing identification upstream, for example, at the pharmacy, the invention allows automatic recording of the drug delivery by medical pumps communicating with the central server system. The result is a lifecycle manifest having records linked to a patient that identifies the travel of the drug and delivery of the drug through the medical care system from pharmacy to patient, and identifies discrepancies in drug utilization.

  • Patent number: 11148903
Abstract: An apparatus enabling a barrel-including spool of windable material to be lifted and transported with a forklift truck includes two elongated channel members having open ends into which forks of a forklift truck can be directed and transversely-extending members for maintaining the channel members in a parallel relationship. A pair of hooks are pivotally suspended from the channel members and are capable of being hooked about end portions of an axle which is directed through the barrel of the spool. By directing the forks of a forklift truck into the open ends of the channel members, positioning the apparatus above the spool, and then hooking the hooks of the apparatus about the end portions of the axle which protrudes from the opposite sides of the spool, the spool can be lifted by way of the forklift truck.

  • Patent number: 11150001
Abstract: A cooling system is designed to generally allow for one or more compressors to be bypassed when ambient temperatures are low. The system includes a bypass line and valve that opens when ambient temperatures are low and/or when the pressure of the refrigerant in the system is low. In this manner, the refrigerant can flow through the bypass line instead of through one or more compressors. These compressors may then be shut off. To supply any needed pressure to cycle the refrigerant, the system may include a pump that turns on when the bypass line is open. When ambient temperatures are extremely low, thermosiphon may be used to cycle the refrigerant.

  • Patent number: 11150816
Abstract: A cloud service provider supports immutable data on its servers and the immutable data is movable across multiple access tiers, in which each access tier affects access performance and cost. In typical implementations, the immutable data may be blobs of unstructured data such as text or binary data, multimedia, among other data types, which are organized into containers that provide a directory for user interaction with the data. Policies are applied at the container-level which regulates user interactions with the containers and the container's blobs. A policy can, for example, prohibit modification and deletion of blobs within a container until a policy's set retention period expires. After expiration of the retention period, the container and that container's blobs may be deleted, but blob modification may still be prohibited. A user interface is configured to enable a user to move containers to other access tiers while the container maintains its policy.
