Abstract: Techniques for establishing a secure connection between a lead device and a secondary device are disclosed herein. According to an embodiment, the lead device receives a request to establish a secure connection with the secondary device. The lead device determines whether the secure connection is an initial connection with the secondary device. In response to a determination that the secure connection is not an initial connection with the secondary device, the lead device authenticates the secondary device using one or more credentials associated with the secondary device and stored by the lead device. • Patent number: 12175220
Abstract: A code insertion engine predicts one or more statements of a programming language to be inserted at an insertion point in between existing source code statements of a source code program being edited. The code insertion engine extracts the surrounding context of the insertion point which includes the source code immediately preceding and the source code immediately following the insertion point. The code insertion engine uses a neural expansion model and a neural selector model to predict the one or more statements most likely to be inserted into the insertion point that are syntactically and semantically consistent with the surrounding context of the existing program.

  • Patent number: 12175224
Abstract: Software systems and methods convert algorithms and software codes into time affecting linear pathways (TALPs) via decomposition and convert paired Input/Output (I/O) datasets into TALPs via Value Complexity polynomials. Generated TALPs can be enhanced through merging with other TALPs. TALPs can be grouped by matching the outputs of the TALP-associated prediction polynomials with some set of given criteria into families and cross-families that are useful in a new type of software optimization that allows for output values of grouped TALPs to be modeled, pooled, discretized and optimized to enhance goals or meet user goals.

  • Patent number: 12174875
Abstract: Computer-implemented processes and systems described herein are directed to reducing volumes of data sent from edge devices to a data center. Each edge device runs an agent that collects event information generated by event sources of the edge device in a runtime interval. Each agent reduces the event information to relevant event information at the edge device in accordance with instructions received from a controller server of the data center. The relevant event information contains less information than the event information. Each agent forwards the relevant event information over the internet to external services executed at the data center, where the relevant event information is stored in a data storage device of the data center.

  • Patent number: 12175310
Abstract: Perceptive scaling of computing resources is disclosed. News sources can be analyzed to identify a future event as well as an occurrence date and type of the event. A computing resource affected by the event can be determined based on the type of event. A scaling strategy can be formulated for the computing resource, such as scaling up or out, to address resource load introduced by the event. The extent of scaling can be determined based on the predicted impact of the event on the computing resource. Subsequently, the scaling strategy can be scheduled for execution before the occurrence date. The scaling strategy can later be terminated or deactivated after the event terminates.

  • Patent number: 12177700
Abstract: A wireless testing system is provided that testing transmission speeds associated with a WLAN or other wireless network. In one instance, a network transmission between a device in a telecommunications network and a modem be measured and initiated via an application executed on a mobile device. One or more Wi-Fi speed tests may also be performed to determine a transmission speed between a wireless device associated with the premises and the modem of the WLAN. To conduct the Wi-Fi speed test, a mobile device (such as the mobile device executing the application) may transmit, in some instances in response to an input to the mobile device, an instruction to the test controller to conduct the Wi-Fi speed test. The measured transmission speeds may be controlled by a controller that may store the speed test results in a network repository available to the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 12173693
Abstract: A method for damping oscillations in a tower of a wind turbine includes determining a primary rotational frequency of the rotor (fp) that correlates to a tower resonance frequency (fr). The method defines an exclusion zone between a first rotational frequency of the rotor (f1) that is less than the primary rotational frequency (fp) and a second rotational frequency of the rotor (f2) that is greater than the primary rotational frequency (fp). At rotor frequencies below the exclusion zone, a first tower-damping force strategy is applied. At rotor frequencies above the exclusion zone, a second tower-damping force strategy is applied that is different from the first tower-damping force strategy.
