Abstract: The disclosed technology is generally directed to mixed reality devices. In one example of the technology, a mixed-reality view is caused to be provided to an operator. The mixed-reality view includes both a real-world environment of the operator and holographic aspects. The mixed-reality view is caused to include a visual tether to a tether location. The tether location is a real-world location at which work is to be performed. A gaze determination associated with a gaze of the operator is made. Responsive to a positive gaze determination, the visual tether is caused to pulse.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a computing system may determine an orientation in a three-dimensional (3D) space and generate a plurality of coordinates in the 3D space based on the determined orientation. The system may access pre-determined ray trajectory definitions associated with the plurality of coordinates. The system may determine visibility information of one or more objects defined within the 3D space by projecting rays through the plurality of coordinates, wherein trajectories of the rays from the plurality of coordinates are determined based on the pre-determined ray trajectory definitions. The system may then generate an image of the one or more objects based on the determined visibility information of the one or more objects.

Abstract: A firearm can have a bolt having a plurality of locking lugs that are configured to have a shear area that is larger than that of a standard M16/M4. A bolt carrier can have a bolt that has a double cut cam having an unlocking cam surface that has sufficient dwell increase to delay a start of unlocking when the bolt carrier is used in an M4 carbine. A stepped extractor pin may be provided that prevents disengagement of the extractor pin. A tube can be configured to provide gas from a barrel of the firearm to the piston via the carrier key. The tube can have a heat radiator formed from triangular shaped threads on at least a portion of the tube. A piston on the bolt and can have a plurality of rings including pairs of mating rings that are formed and maintained as a matched pair.

Abstract: Apparatus for a drill powered wire puller are disclosed. In an embodiment the drill powered wire puller includes a center plate, a cradle plate, a housing, a support, the support including a receiver, and a capstan. The center plate is coupled with the cradle plate at a proximal end. The cradle plate includes a U-shaped notch and two hooks or catches which are configured to couple the cradle plate with a powered rotary tool, such as a drill. The right side of the center plate is coupled with a housing, the left side of the center plate is coupled with a support. The left side of the support is coupled with a capstan. The outer perimeter of the capstan includes notches that define at least one “cleat” shape in the outer perimeter.

Abstract: Muzzleloader systems including a pre-packaged propellant charge with a primer and receptacle. The muzzleloader system may include a propellant containment vessel separate from the primer and the projectile and that doesn't contact with the projectile until assembly. The muzzleloader may be rear loading, with a constriction portion forward of the breech chamber. The propellant containment vessel may include a body portion having a forward opening, with a propellant charge disposed therein and a cap portion that is crimp rolled within the mouth of the vessel to seal the forward opening. The closed end of the propellant containment vessel may define a primer receptacle configured to receive the primer. The receptacle may define a depth that is less than the primer height so that, when inserted into the receptacle, the primer extends rearwardly beyond the containment vessel. The muzzleloader system may be configured to fire only specifically configured propellant containment vessels.

Abstract: A computer implemented method includes receiving audio signals representative of speech via multiple audio streams transmitted from corresponding multiple distributed devices, performing, via a neural network model, continuous speech separation for one or more of the received audio signals having overlapped speech, and providing the separated speech on a fixed number of separate output audio channels.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for on-device machine learning. In particular, the present disclosure is directed to an on-device machine learning platform and associated techniques that enable on-device prediction, training, example collection, and/or other machine learning tasks or functionality. The on-device machine learning platform can include a context provider that securely injects context features into collected training examples and/or client-provided input data used to generate predictions/inferences. Thus, the on-device machine learning platform can enable centralized training example collection, model training, and usage of machine-learned models as a service to applications or other clients.

Abstract: A system and method for providing diagnostic analysis of a physical condition of a human body. A signal generator, an emitter, a receiver, and processor(s) generate a baseline signal. In some implementations, the emitter may emit the baseline signal through cells of the human body over scanning points for a predetermined amount of time, and a receiver detects reflected signals that have propagated through the cells of the human body. Some implementations include determining, by the one or more processors, a power spectrum density (PSD) of the reflected baseline signal and a spectral variance in the PSD of the reflected baseline signal relative to the baseline signal. Some implementations may compare the spectral variance to one or more predetermined spectral variances corresponding to one or more conditions of the human body and determine the condition of the human body, based on the comparison.

Abstract: Methods of reducing air within a stent graft delivery device are disclosed, utilizing various flushing techniques. A port in a manifold that includes a pusher catheter coaxially disposed about a guide wire catheter is flushed. A portion in a sheath hub that excludes a longitudinally extended outer sheath coaxially disposed about the pusher catheter is flushed with a flushing fluid and/or a blood soluble gas, such as carbon dioxide. The guide wire catheter is also flushed.

Abstract: A light-based apparatus has an input device, accepting two or more numerical inputs and an output command. It has a logic unit that receives the two numerical inputs from the input device, and is adapted to combine various lights, in amplitudes based on the respective values of the numerical inputs, to produce an output light sum representing a sum of the two numerical inputs. The logic unit also has an output sensing circuit to sense the output light sum. The logic unit is responsive to the output command to output a value representing the output light sum. The device uses a computing method that includes comingling light from multiple sources, at the same time, in a light containment area to provide comingled light. The method includes using light amplitude sensing circuitry to sense an amplitude of the comingled light, outputting an arithmetic sum, based on the amplitude of the comingled light, without using a binary computer to compute the arithmetic sum.

Abstract: A digital signal extraction device that includes an input configured to receive a digital audio input signal from an audio media player, an output configured to provide high-resolution digital audio output to an external digital-to-analog converter (DAC), and a microprocessor coupled between the input and output. The microprocessor is configured to extract the high-resolution digital audio output from the digital audio input signal received at the input, while keeping intact any copy protection for the digital audio input signal.

Abstract: A glove has a palm side and a back side joined at a side edge to form a glove body. The palm side and the back side are constructed from, a stretch material. Panels attach to the stretch material on the palm side to form finger parts, palm parts and a back part. The panels are separated from each other by the stretch material to allow relative movement. Elastic bands attached to the panels on the back side adjust the fit. A thumb part has a gusset of the stretch material. Grip surfaces have an embossed texture with indentations.
