Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for reconfiguring a data connection using new parameters. One apparatus includes a processor and transceiver that communicates with a mobile communication network. The processor establishes a data connection with the mobile communication network using a first set of parameters and receives a second set of parameters from the mobile communication network with an indication of how at least one parameter in the first set corresponds to at least one new parameter in the second set. The processor further determines a third set of parameters from the first set of parameters and the second set of parameters and reconfigures the data connection using the third set of parameters.

  • Patent number: 11136023
Abstract: A moving object such as a vehicle is identified within an intersection having multiple exits. The moving object and the intersection and its exits may be identified based on sensor data obtained from various sensors mounted on an ADV. An exit coordinate map is generated based on the orientation of the moving object and a relative position of each of the exits of the intersection with respect to the current position of the moving object. For each of the exits, an exit probability of the exit that the moving object likely exits the intersection using the exit coordinate map. Thereafter, a trajectory of the ADV is planned to navigate through the intersection to avoid the collision with the moving object based on the exit probabilities of the exits of the intersection. The above process is iteratively performed for each of the moving objects detected within the proximity of the intersection.

  • Patent number: 11140122
Abstract: In certain embodiments, a communication (comm) network has interconnected comm systems and a mapping engine, each comm system having one or more Layer 1 (L1) components physically connected to one or more Layer 2 (L2) components, wherein components are physically connected to L1 components of different comm systems. Logical connections between the L2 components of the different comm systems are determined using a link-layer discovery process (LLDP), and physical connections between the L1 and L2 components of each comm system are determined using LLDP snooping. The mapping engine queries the L2 components for LLDP results and the L1 components for LLDP snooping results and generates end-to-end mappings for circuits between the L2 components of the different comm systems, where the end-to-end mappings are represented in a circuit inventory database that can be accessed to avoid system outages when the network is modified.
