  • Patent number: 11140416
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for video processing. In some examples, an apparatus for video processing includes processing circuitry. For example, processing circuitry determines a frame interval for a current block in a current frame within a sequence of frames. The frame interval indicates a group of frames in the sequence of frames with collocated blocks of the current block that satisfy an error metric requirement comparing to the current block. Further, the processing circuitry determines a replacement block based on the collocated blocks in the group of frames, and replaces the current block in the current frame with the replacement block.

Abstract: A collapsible telescoping pole assembly provided comprising at least first, second and third elongated tubular members, the second and third tubular members being slidably received within the first and second tubular member, respectively, between retracted and extended positions. A first locking mechanism is associated with the distal end of the first tubular member for releasably securing the second tubular member within the first tubular member in its extended position. The first locking member is biased to a locked position and movable to an unlocked position by rotating the first locking mechanism relative to the first tubular member, causing the first locking mechanism to move axially in a distal direction to permit the second tubular member to slide freely within the first in tubular member. A second locking mechanism is associated with the distal end of the second tubular member for releasably securing the third tubular member within the second tubular member in its extended position.

  • Patent number: 11140350
Abstract: An image sensor may include an array of image sensor pixels that are read out using analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The ADC may be shot-noise-matched to reduce the number of decision cycles required. A ramp with limited resolution spanning only a small portion of the full scale voltage range may be used. For small analog input voltages, this limited ramp range is sufficient. For large analog input voltages, less resolution is needed due to the increasing shot noise in the photo signal. The larger input voltages may be successively divided by a selected attenuation factor until the analog input signal is within the range of the reduced ramp. The ADC keeps track of the number of divisions being performed to determine an exponent value for a floating-point output value and then convert the residual signal with the smaller ramp to determine a mantissa value for the floating-point output value.
