Abstract: A session management function (SMF) receives from a wireless device, a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment request message. The SMF sends to a network node, a request message for subscription information of the wireless device. The SMF receives from the network node, a response message comprising subscription information indicating an identifier of a first local proxy application server for an application location, wherein the application location identifies a user plane access to a data network. The SMF sends to the wireless device, a PDU session establishment accept message comprising the identifier of the first local proxy application server.

Abstract: A case that may provide mobile devices with the ability to be propped up and held via an extendable member for viewing and using mobile devices. The present invention comprises a case that may have a proximate end, a distal end, a back surface, and a front surface. The case may also have a hinge that may be located on the proximate end of the case. The invention may have an extendable member with a first end and a second end, wherein the first end may be attached via the hinge. In some embodiments the case may have a back surface with a securing mechanism for attaching to an object. In some embodiments the case's extendable member may be configured to rotate about an axis defined by the hinge. Further, in some embodiments, the extendable member may be configured to stay in place at any single degree of rotation.

The data packet for each B slice includes a header element indicating whether the B slice is a reference slice. The header element of each reference B slice has a value that depends on depth of the reference B slice in a hierarchy of discardability.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are polynucleotides, compositions, and methods for controlling insect pests, especially flea beetles, such as Phyllotreta spp. and Psylliodes spp., particularly in plants. More specifically, polynucleotides such as double-stranded RNA triggers and methods of use thereof for modifying the expression of genes in flea beetles.

Abstract: Low moisture feed blocks deliver supplemental nutrients to animals and are free or substantially free of molasses by using concentrated separator by-product as a molasses replacement. A premixture of concentrated separator by-product and added sugar may be pH-adjusted and concentrated to a high solids content. The premixture may be combined with dry components to form an admixture that is poured into a vessel and allowed to naturally cool and harden into the supplemental feed block.

Abstract: A sensor includes electrodes and two enclosure portions. The electrodes have a shape to match an outer periphery of a non-metallic parent pipe. The two enclosure portions are connected by a hinge to facilitate positioning around the outer periphery of the non-metallic parent pipe. A first portion of the two enclosure portions includes a cutout electrode for surrounding a cutout space. The cutout electrode is tied to a ground to shield against signals from the cutout space. The sensor generates a signal indicative of the presence or absence of a pipe inserted within an inner periphery of the non-metallic parent pipe based on a capacitance measurement and a threshold.

Abstract: A system and method of providing an immersive media experience to a user through utilizing one or more vehicle system modules (VSMs) included in a vehicle, wherein the method includes: establishing a connection with a media control device, wherein the media control device includes a display; determining whether the media control device is authorized to control the one or more VSMs as a part of the immersive media experience; receiving an immersive media control request from the media control device, wherein the immersive media control request includes a request from the media control device to perform one or more vehicle functions using the VSMs during playback of immersive media content, and wherein the playback of the immersive media content includes visually perceptible media content that is displayed using the display of the media control device; and controlling the one or more VSMs according to the received VSM control requests.

Abstract: Flexible polyurethane foams are made by reacting a polyether mixture and water with a polyisocyanate. The foams have excellent suite of properties for use in seating applications, as they are supporting, comfortable and resilient foam. A further advantage is these properties can be obtained at isocyanate indices of close to or even greater than 100.

Abstract: Systems and methods for simultaneously performing engine coolant stagnation and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler cooling in an engine include providing a coolant circuit configured to flow coolant through both a block of the engine and an EGR cooler of a cooled EGR (CEGR) system of the engine, a main pump on the coolant circuit that is driven by an electric motor or a crankshaft of the engine to pump coolant through a block of the engine, and a secondary pump on the coolant circuit that, when energized, is configured to pump coolant through the coolant circuit, and, during a cold start of the engine, de-energizing the electric motor or disconnecting the main pump from the engine crankshaft to stagnate coolant in the engine block and energizing the secondary pump to flow coolant through the EGR cooler of the CEGR system.

Abstract: A riflescope having a display that provides information to a user of the riflescope, along with related methods, is provided herein. In one embodiment, a riflescope includes an objective system and an ocular system, wherein a focal plane is defined between the objective system and the ocular system. A display system, comprising a display and a mirror, is positioned at a location between the focal plane and the ocular system. In one embodiment, the distance between the focal plane and the ocular system is equal to a sum of a distance between the display and the mirror and a distance between the mirror and the ocular system.

The system comprising: a low power sensor, a physiological parameter measuring device, and a processor. The low power sensor generating a baseline signal relating to a physiological status of said patient. The physiological parameter measuring device comprising at least one higher power sensor configured to output at least one physiological parameter signal indicative of at least one physiological parameter of said patient. The processor assessing the baseline signal and determining if the physiological status is outside predetermined threshold boundaries.

Abstract: A method and device is taught to improve the appearance of cellulite by combining mild exfoliation of the skin, various wavelengths of low level light, ultrasound, and a vacuum or suction. The device is intended to increase the metabolic rate of the fat cells and reduce their size, while increasing the extensibility or length of the septae. Such increased activity will promote blood flow to the affected area thereby increasing cell nutrients and removing cellular exudates while stimulating the growth of new collagen thereby alleviating the cellulite.

Abstract: Systems and methods for cooling a vehicle computing system are provided. A computing system can include a first cooling baseplate including a first planar cooling surface and a second cooling baseplate including a second planar cooling surface. The computing system can further include one or more computing devices including a processor blade positioned on the first planar cooling surface, a coprocessor blade positioned on the second planar cooling surface, and a flexible connector coupled between the processor blade and the coprocessor blade. The flexible connector can be configured to transfer at least one of data or electric power between the processor blade and the coprocessor blade. The first planar cooling surface can be configured to transfer heat from the processor blade to a cooling fluid via conduction. The second planar cooling surface can be configured to transfer heat from the coprocessor blade to the cooling fluid via conduction.

Abstract: A quantum well field-effect transistor (QWFET) includes a barrier layer, a quantum well layer, and a spacer layer. The quantum well layer is on the barrier layer. The barrier layer and the spacer layer comprise aluminum indium antimonide that is undoped. The quantum well layer comprises indium antimonide. The spacer layer is on the quantum well layer. The quantum well layer and the spacer layer are between a source contact and a drain contact. A gate contact is on a dielectric layer, which is on the spacer layer. By providing the barrier layer and the spacer layer as undoped layers, a performance of the QWFET may be improved.

Abstract: A method includes, at a node associated with a multiprotocol label switching system (MPLS) network, identifying information associated with an application flow based on one or more unencapsulated packet headers of the application flow or based on an ingress data stream that includes the application flow. The method further includes, in response to identifying the information, and based on stored data that maps application flows with psuedowires, determining a number of pseudowires corresponding to paths through the MPLS network, where the stored data indicates, for a sending device application, a distributed mapping of the application flow via at least one of the number of psuedowires, and communicating data related to the sending device application via at least one of the number of pseudowires.
