Abstract: An egg grasp device is provided. Such a device includes a body and a plurality of elongated members extending from the body. The elongated members are interlaced to form a sheath capable of retaining an egg. The sheath has a distal end and a proximal end at which the elongated members are operably engaged with the body. The elongated members cooperate to define an opening at the distal end through which an egg is received when the elongated members engage and deflect about an egg such that the egg is seated within the sheath. Associated systems and methods are also provided.

Such devices may comprise a movable antenna within a spherical housing having different ports associated with different positions, and may direct wireless communication beams in different directions to provide access to different zones by moving the antenna. A user may configure a system to prioritize or restrict zones or devices based on criteria. This prioritization may facilitate tiered services among users or devices.

Abstract: A set-top box with enhanced behavioral controls and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the set-top box, a wireless transceiver is located within a housing, which also interconnectedly includes a television input, a television output, a processor, and memory. The set-top box may pair with an electronic door locking apparatus coupled to a door that is room-collocated with the set-top box in a hospitality establishment. The set-top box may then receive a status signal from the electronic door locking apparatus relative to the open/closed status of the door and locked/unlocked status of the door.

Abstract: A discharge chamber for a deep ultraviolet (DUV) light source includes a housing; and a first electrode and a second electrode in the housing, the first electrode and the second electrode being separated from each other to form a discharge region between the first electrode and the second electrode, the discharge region being configured to receive a gain medium including at least one noble gas and a halogen gas. At least one of the first electrode and the second electrode includes a metal alloy including more than 33% and less than 50% zinc by weight.

Abstract: A structure with mounting fixture allows for viewing of a portable device at a multitude of device viewing angles to accommodate a wide range of user viewing positions. The structure comprises a main body, wherein the main body includes three or more lower stabilizing protrusions and an upper mounting fixture support protrusion. The structure disclosed herein further includes a mounting fixture, wherein the mounting fixture includes one or more device attachment mechanisms and one or more viewing angle adjustment notches. The structure disclosed herein further includes a tethering mechanism, wherein the tethering mechanism attaches the mounting fixture to the main body of the structure.

Abstract: A compact system for performing laser ophthalmic surgery is disclosed. The systems and methods may be used to measure corneal thickness or other anatomy to prepare a treatment plan for any of numerous treatments, such as LASIK, PRK, intra stromal lenticular lens incisions, cornea replacement, or any other treatment. By using a reduced power femtosecond laser backscatter may be measured to calculate distances such as distances between an interior boundary and an exterior boundary of a cornea or other tissue.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system, apparatus, and method for distributing a portion of game information may include a gaming machine configured to play a game of chance and produce game information. A gaming server can be configured to communicate with the gaming machine, may establish a remote gaming session between the gaming machine and a user device, and may distribute the portion of the game information to the user device.

Abstract: A system and method include scanning a light detection and ranging (LIDAR) device through a range of orientations corresponding to a scanning zone while emitting light pulses from the LIDAR device. The method also includes receiving returning light pulses corresponding to the light pulses emitted from the LIDAR device and determining initial point cloud data based on time delays between emitting the light pulses and receiving the corresponding returning light pulses and the orientations of the LIDAR device. The initial point cloud data has an initial angular resolution. The method includes identifying, based on the initial point cloud data, a reflective feature in the scanning zone and determining an enhancement region and an enhanced angular resolution for a subsequent scan to provide a higher spatial resolution in at least a portion of subsequent point cloud data from the subsequent scan corresponding to the reflective feature.

Abstract: A process and system are directed to generating a medium without user involvement. A user makes a series of increasingly granular selections to specify the type of medium to be built, such as a webpage. A search engine conducts a search of networking resources to identify and collect content items that have a relationship to the user and that are relevant to the webpage selections made by the user. The content collection is performed automatically without any user involvement, beyond the user's initial webpage selections. The webpage is then constructed, using the collected content items to populate the components of the webpage. The webpage is customized to the user because its contents are developed based upon a search that reflects the targeting and collection of content items that are both related to the user and relevant to the user's webpage definition.

Abstract: Enhanced passthrough images are generated and displayed. A current visibility condition of an environment is determined. Based on the current visibility condition, a first camera or a second camera, which detect light spanning different ranges of illuminance, is selected to generate a passthrough image of the environment. The selected camera is then caused to generate the passthrough image. Additionally, a third camera, which is structured to detect long wave infrared radiation, is caused to generate a thermal image of the environment. Parallax correction is performed by aligning coordinates of the thermal image with corresponding coordinates identified within the passthrough image. Subsequently, the parallax-corrected thermal image is overlaid onto the passthrough image to generate a composite passthrough image, which is then displayed.

Abstract: The present technology provides a system and method for assembling a fantasy sports team using augmented reality. The technology employs a fantasy game server in communication with one or more users' electronic mobile devices, such as smartphones. The technology displays digital images of sports players and/or promotion or other tokens on the users' mobile devices, on which the users can capture the sports players they wish to add to their fantasy sports teams through a user interface of the fantasy game server. The fantasy game server generates geolocation information for a plurality of real-world players and compares it to geolocation data from the mobile device to determine when a real world player is within a threshold radius of the user and sends an alert to the user.

The carbon dioxide recycle stream is separated into a purified carbon dioxide recycle stream and a natural gas liquids stream. The purified carbon dioxide recycle stream comprises the carbon dioxide and the natural gas, and the natural gas liquids stream comprises the natural gas liquids. In another embodiment, a system comprises piping and a separator. The piping is configured to receive a recycle stream, and the separator is coupled to the piping and is configured to separate the recycle stream into a purified recycle stream and a natural gas liquids stream.
