  • Patent number: 11120641
Abstract: A system for managing fare collection in a public transit network may include a fare collection system and a fare management system. The fare collection may collect fare information from passengers boarding or getting off a vehicle. The fare management system may use the received fare information to determine a fare return series over a period of time, which includes multiple fare returns. The fare management system may use a hierarchical cluster method to cluster multiple fare returns into one or more clusters represented in a dendrogram, apply a “silhouette” method to the dendrogram and obtain an optimal clustering. The system may further output a graphic representation, such as a trend line, for each of the clusters over a time period. Based on the clustering results, the system may also deploy a revised fare class schedule or transit system schedule to the fare collection system.

  • Patent number: 11120495
Abstract: Techniques are described for generating virtual makeup products. Virtual makeup products, in this context, may include a predefined effect and a configuration for the effect, wherein the predefined effect includes one or more layered visual filters. In an embodiment, a system in accordance with the present disclosure may acquire makeup product definition data based on characteristics of a real-world makeup product from an entity associated with the real-world product such as a designer, manufacturer, or vendor. Using the makeup product definition data, the system may generate a virtual makeup product includes a configuration of a predefined effect based on the acquired product definition data. The generated virtual makeup product is then passed through a process of internal calibration, internal review, and external review to improve the accuracy of the simulation of the real-world makeup product. In some embodiments, external review is performed by an external reviewing entity (e.g.

  • Patent number: 11120408
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for surfacing scheduling conflicts and/or for facilitating appointment scheduling based upon conflict detection. A user may maintain user appointment data comprising user appointments (e.g., calendar entries within a work calendar). Because user activity may not be fully reflected in the appointment data (e.g., no calendar entries for routine grocery shopping, soccer practice, etc.), potential conflicts may exist between user appointments and the true availability of the user. Accordingly, user signals (e.g., email(s), location check-ins, etc. associated with soccer practice) may be evaluated to generate a user inferred behavior pattern that may be used to identify a potential conflict with a user appointment (e.g., where the user consents to the gathering and/or use of such user signals). A warning of the potential conflict may be surfaced to the user (e.g., a Tuesday dinner calendar meeting conflicts with routine soccer practice on Tuesday evenings).
